δ=√(2/μσω)
Φ=BS=μSNI/L=NI/{(1/μ)(L/S)}
→ Φ=Vm/Rm
Vm=NI … 起磁力
Rm=(1/μ)(L/S) … 磁気抵抗
R=ΣRmi
Φ=ΣΦi
ΣVmi=ΣRmjΦj
【0046】
離型層68の材料には、シリコーンゴムやフッ素ゴム、PFA(テトラフルオロエチレンとぺルフルオロアルキルビニルエーテルとの共重合体)、またはPTFE(ポリテトラフルオロエチレン)などのフッ素樹脂を用いることができる。

TECHNICAL FIELD OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to an induction heating device used as a heating device such as a fixing device in a dry electrophotographic device, a drying device in a wet electrophotographic device, a drying device in an ink jet printer, and a rewritable media erasing device.
[0002]
[Prior art]
A configuration in which induction heating is applied to a fixing device of an electrophotographic copying machine or a printer is disclosed in, for example, Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 8-137306.
[0003]
As shown in FIG. 10, the fixing device is configured to send recording paper to a nip portion between a
[0004]
Further, in the publication, as shown in FIG. 11, an electromagnetic induction coil 5d is provided inside the
[0005]
According to the above-described two examples of the induction heating device, the recording paper on which the toner image has been transferred is preheated in a non-contact manner by the auxiliary heating from the heated
[0006]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
However, the conventional induction heating device has the following problems.
[0007]
1) Since only a part of the fixing belt is heated, when a plurality of recording media are continuously processed, the temperature of the fixing belt decreases and the fixing property deteriorates. This occurs because an electromagnetic induction coil for heating the fixing belt is provided in a portion other than the nip portion. That is, when a plurality of recording media are continuously processed or when a thick recording medium is processed, the amount of heat required for fixing cannot be maintained only by the amount of heat of the fixing belt.
[0008]
2) When the tension roller is made of a material having good thermal conductivity, the temperature distribution in the axial direction can be made uniform, but the heat capacity increases. That is, since heat is conducted from the fixing belt to the tension roller, much time is required to set the fixing belt to a predetermined temperature.
[0009]
3) Since the fixing belt having a small heat capacity is mainly heated, the fixing belt is easily affected by the magnetic flux density, and the fixing belt tends to be uneven in temperature. When the temperature unevenness occurs, the length of the fixing belt in the circumferential direction changes, which causes the fixing belt to be shifted, meandering, or waving. Also, the gap between the fixing belt and the electromagnetic induction coil is apt to fluctuate, and if fluctuated, temperature fluctuations occur in the fixing belt.
[0010]
4) In FIG. 10, the heating efficiency is low because the magnetic flux emitted from only one side of the core of the coil is used for heating.
[0011]
5) In FIG. 11, since the heat of the tension roller is easily transmitted to the coil, and the temperature of the coil increases, the heating efficiency decreases. In addition, it is necessary to use a coil having a high heat-resistant grade as a wire material, which leads to an increase in cost.
[0012]
An object of the present invention is to provide an induction heating apparatus which suppresses temperature fluctuation, warms up quickly, is excellent in thermal efficiency, is low in cost, and is safe and reliable.
[0013]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
The present invention provides a first heating roller having a first conductive layer in which current is induced in a fluctuating magnetic field,
A second heating roller having a second conductive layer in which current is induced in a fluctuating magnetic field;
A third conductive layer in which a current is induced in a fluctuating magnetic field, the third conductive layer being in contact with and suspended from the first conductive layer of the first heating roller and the second conductive layer of the second heating roller; Endless belt,
Magnetic field generating means arranged inside the endless belt to generate a fluctuating magnetic field to link the first heating roller, the second heating roller, and the endless belt with each other;
A pressure roller for pressing the material to be heated between the endless belt and the endless belt and conveying the material to be heated between the belt and the endless belt; At least one selected,
(1) Depending on the position where the magnetic field generating means is arranged,
(2) by disposing a magnetic member inside the first heating roller; and
(3) By changing at least one of the volume resistivity, the layer thickness and the relative magnetic permeability between the first conductive layer and the second conductive layer,
An induction heating apparatus characterized in that the first heating roller is configured to have a higher temperature than the second heating roller.
[0014]
According to the present invention, the first heating roller and the second heating roller are induction-heated by the magnetic field generating means. Endless belts are suspended from the first heating roller and the second heating roller, and heat is transmitted from the induction-heated heating rollers to the endless belt wound therearound through the third conductive layer on the inner peripheral surface. At the same time, the third conductive layer on the inner peripheral surface is induction heated by the magnetic field generating means. The first heating roller and the second heating roller generally have a larger heat capacity than the endless belt, and by pre-heating them, it is possible to suppress the transfer of heat from the endless belt to the heating roller. Temperature stabilizes.
[0015]
Further, the conveyed material to be heated is pressed by the endless belt and the pressure roller whose temperature is stabilized in this way, and the heat of the endless belt is transmitted to the material to be heated. In this process, the temperature of the endless belt temporarily decreases, but receives heat from both heating rollers again and returns to a predetermined temperature. As described above, the first heating roller and the second heating roller having a large heat capacity are mainly heated, and the heat is transmitted to the endless belt also from the first heating roller and the second heating roller. However, the material to be heated can be heated while keeping the temperature of the heating roller constant, that is, by improving the temperature stability of the endless belt. Further, since the entire magnetic flux of the magnetic field generating means is used as effectively as possible, the time until the temperature of the endless belt is stabilized is reduced.
[0019]
By heating at least one of the following configurations (1) to (3) so that the first heating roller has a higher temperature than the second heating roller, the temperature of the endless belt is substantially reduced. It is determined by the heat conduction from the first heating roller, and heat conduction can be generated from the second heating roller to such an extent that the temperature of the endless belt is prevented from lowering. Thereby, the material to be heated can be efficiently heated.
[0020]
(1) The temperature of the first heating roller can be easily set higher than that of the second heating roller depending on the position where the magnetic field generating means is arranged.
[0021]
(2) Since the magnetic flux is concentrated on the first heating roller by providing the magnetic member inside the first heating roller, it is possible to easily set the temperature of the first heating roller higher than that of the second heating roller. it can.
[0023]
(3) By changing at least one of the volume resistivity, the layer thickness, and the relative magnetic permeability between the first conductive layer and the second conductive layer, the first heating roller is more than the second heating roller. Temperature can be set higher.
[0024]
The present invention also provides a first heating roller having a first conductive layer in which a current is induced in a fluctuating magnetic field,
A second heating roller having a second conductive layer in which current is induced in a fluctuating magnetic field;
A third conductive layer in which a current is induced in a fluctuating magnetic field, the third conductive layer being in contact with and suspended from the first conductive layer of the first heating roller and the second conductive layer of the second heating roller; Endless belt,
Magnetic field generating means arranged inside the endless belt to generate a fluctuating magnetic field to link the first heating roller, the second heating roller, and the endless belt with each other;
A pressure roller provided for pressing the endless belt on the first heating roller and for conveying the material to be heated sandwiched between the belt and the endless belt;
The magnetic field generating means includes a magnetic circuit for linking a magnetic flux to each of the first heating roller and the second heating roller, and a coil wound so as to generate a magnetic flux in the magnetic circuit. Is different between the first heating roller and the second heating roller, so that the temperature of the first heating roller is higher than that of the second heating roller. .
[0025]
According to the present invention, the temperature of the first heating roller can be easily set higher than that of the second heating roller by changing the magnetic resistance of the first heating roller and the second heating roller.
[0026]
The present invention is further characterized in that it further comprises a third heating roller having a fourth conductive layer in which a current is induced in the fluctuating magnetic field, and provided in contact with an endless belt.
[0027]
According to the present invention, by employing the above-described configuration, when the tension is applied to the endless belt or when the induction heating device is used as a toner fixing device of the image forming apparatus, the toner or ink remaining on the endless belt is Cleaning can be performed.
[0028]
Further, the present invention is characterized in that the third heating roller is induction-heated by the magnetic field of the magnetic field generating means, and the temperature thereof is set to be higher than that of the endless belt.
[0029]
According to the present invention, by setting the temperature of the third heating roller higher than that of the endless belt, it is possible to efficiently remove toner and ink without lowering the temperature of the endless belt.
[0030]
In the present invention, a surface treatment for imparting a predetermined coefficient of friction between the first conductive layer of the first heating roller, the second conductive layer of the second heating roller, and the third conductive layer of the endless belt is performed. The area to be subjected to the surface treatment is outside the range corresponding to the area where the material to be heated contacts the endless belt.
[0031]
According to the present invention, the first heating roller, the second heating roller, the endless belt, and the like are subjected to a surface treatment to reduce the surface roughness of the conductive layers of the first heating roller, the second heating roller, and the endless belt. Can be increased, and the driving can be stably performed. In addition, since the area to be subjected to the surface treatment is outside the range corresponding to the area where the material to be heated comes into contact with the endless belt, adverse effects such as non-uniform pressure when the material to be heated is pressed and heated are performed. Has no effect.

【The invention's effect】
As described above, according to the present invention, the temperature of the endless belt can be stabilized by providing the first conductive layer on the first heating roller and providing the second conductive layer on the second heating roller. Can be stably heated.
[0062]
Further, by heating the first heating roller so that the temperature is higher than that of the second heating roller, the temperature of the endless belt is substantially determined by the heat conduction from the first heating roller. Heat conduction can be generated to such an extent that the temperature of the endless belt is prevented from lowering. Thereby, the material to be heated can be efficiently heated.
[0063]
Further, when tension is applied to the endless belt or when the induction heating device is used as a toner fixing device of an image forming apparatus, it becomes possible to clean toner and ink remaining on the endless belt.
[0064]
Further, by making the temperature of the third heating roller higher than that of the endless belt, it is possible to efficiently remove toner and ink without lowering the temperature of the endless belt.
[0065]
Further, the coefficient of friction between the first heating roller and the second heating roller and the endless belt can be increased and the endless belt can be driven stably, and the area where the surface treatment is performed corresponds to the area where the material to be heated contacts the endless belt. Since it is out of the range, there is no adverse effect such as non-uniform pressure when the material to be heated is pressed and heated.
