この発明は、検索システムに関し、さらに詳細には検索キーのよる検索をどのページでも同様に行えることができる検索システムに関する。

【従来の技術】
一般に、例えば、インターネットに接続されたサーバ等に格納された情報等を検索システムで検索するとき、通常、検索専用のページで検索条件を全て一括し入力して検索を行っていた。

この結果、検索された情報を得た後、再び情報の検索を行うとき、一旦検索専用のページに戻って検索条件を最初から入力していた。

また、検索した結果、複数の情報が表示された場合、これら表示された複数の情報を比較するときは、例えばこの情報の発信源であるホームページ等へアクセスして比較のための情報を得ていた。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
このような従来の検索システムは、以下のような問題があった。

すなわち、得たい情報を検索画面で一度検索して結果を出力した後、異なった条件で情報を検索する場合、一旦、最初の検索画面に戻り、検索条件を入力しなければならないという問題があった。例えば検索条件を複数項目入力して検索したあと、検索条件の１つだけ変更して情報を検索する場合でも初めの検索画面に戻り検索条件を全て入力しなければならいため時間が掛かるという問題があった。

また、検索条件に該当する情報が複数検索されたとき、検索された情報同士の比較を行う場合、例えば個々のホームページへアクセスして比較の情報等を入手しなければならず時間と手間が掛かるという問題があった。

【課題を解決するための手段】
本発明は、前述のごとき問題に鑑みてなされたもので、請求項１に係る発明は、検索システムにして、それぞれ複数のフィールドを有する複数のレコードデータを記憶する第１メモリと、前記複数のフィールドの名称又は識別子を記憶する第２メモリと、前記複数のレコードの名称又は識別子を記憶する第３メモリと、第１フィールドについての所定レコード・データ入力に応じて、前記所定レコード・データを有するレコード群を選択し、それらが有する他のレコード・データと共に選択結果表示画面へ表示する手段と、比較を行うための比較メニューの比較フィールドの選択により、前記他のレコード・データの中から選択された前記比較フィールドに係る他のレコードデータ同士を特定し選択結果表示画面へ表示する手段とを備え、さらに、前記選択結果表示画面は、少なくとも一つの第２フィールドについての追加選択条件入力欄を有する検索システムである。

【発明の実施の形態】
本発明の実施の形態を、図面を参照して説明する。

本例では金属等の加工を依頼する検索者が金属加工業者を検索する場合を説明する。

本例の検索システムはコンピュータよりなるものであって、図示しないコンピュータ本体、キーボード、マウス、及び表示画面等を備えている。
