Description

【0001】

TECHNICAL FIELD OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a method for manufacturing a stretchable member that can cut only an elastic body without damaging a base sheet when manufacturing a stretchable member in which an elastic body is stuck on a base sheet.
[0002]
Problems to be solved by the prior art and the invention
As a method of cutting a thread-like or band-like elastic body stuck on a sheet, for example, a method described in Japanese Patent No. 2761166 is known. In this method, the sheet corresponding to the elastic body cutting position is displaced to the elastic body non-adhering surface side by ejecting compressed air toward the sheet from the elastic body attaching surface side of the sheet, After forming a gap between the sheet and the elastic body, the elastic body is cut by a cutting blade. However, in this method, it is not easy to increase the productivity because the sheet needs to be temporarily stopped at the cutting position.
[0003]
Also, Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 60-151301 discloses that when a band-shaped elastic body attached to a water-sealing sheet is cut at a non-adhering position using a heat cutter, the elastic body is lower than the water-sealing sheet. A method of cutting only the elastic body by using a material formed of a material having a melting point and setting a low heating temperature for cutting of the heat cutter is described. However, this method has the disadvantage that the melt adheres to the cutter and that the elastic material covered with the sheet cannot be cut.
[0004]
Therefore, the present invention provides a stretchable elastic member that can easily and quickly cut only the elastic body without damaging the base sheet when manufacturing the elastic member in which the elastic body is stuck on the base sheet. An object is to provide a method for manufacturing a member.
[0005]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
The present invention is a method for producing a stretchable member in which a thread-like or band-like elastic body is adhered in an extended state on a base sheet, and the elastic body is formed on the base sheet with an adhesive portion and a non-adhesive portion. And a method for producing a stretchable member that presses the non-adhesive portion composed of the base sheet and the elastic body to cut only the elastic body of the non-adhesive portion under pressure. Thus, the above object has been achieved.
The present invention also relates to a method for producing a stretchable member in which a thread-like or band-like elastic body is adhered in an extended state on a base sheet, wherein the elastic body is bonded to the base sheet with a bonded portion and a non-bonded part. A method of manufacturing a stretchable member that is pressure-cut only by sticking the elastic body of the non-adhered portion,
After attaching the elastic body to the base sheet, cover the elastic body with a covering sheet or by folding the base sheet, and sandwich the elastic body between both sheets or between the folded base sheets. -The above object has been achieved by providing a method for producing a stretchable member in which only the elastic body of the non-adhered portion is pressure-cut after sticking.
[0006]
Further, the present invention is a preferable apparatus used in the above-mentioned manufacturing method, which is an apparatus for manufacturing a stretchable member in which a string-like or band-like elastic body is adhered in an extended state on a base material sheet. An adhesive-coated portion that intermittently coats an adhesive on a base sheet to form an adhesive portion and a non-adhesive portion alternately and regularly over its longitudinal direction, and that the elastic body is stretched. An elastic body sticking portion to be stuck on the base sheet via the bonding portion, and a heatable smooth roller opposed to each other and provided with one or two or more ridges in the width direction that can be heated. When the number of the ridges is one, the circumference of the roll cutter is the same as the distance between the adjacent non-adhesive portions, and when the number of the ridges is two or more, The arc length between the adjacent ridges in the roll cutter is different from the adjacent non-contact There is provided an apparatus for manufacturing a stretchable member having an elastic body cutting portion are made equal to the distance between the parts.

[0007]
Further, the present invention, on the substrate sheet, a thread-shaped or band-shaped elastic body is attached so as to have an adhesive portion and a non-adhesive portion, and then the non-adhesive portion made of the substrate sheet and the elastic material is pressed. Another object of the present invention is to provide a method for cutting an elastic body, which press-cuts only the elastic body of the non-adhesive portion .

[0008]
BEST MODE FOR CARRYING OUT THE INVENTION
Hereinafter, preferred embodiments of the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings. FIG. 1 is a schematic view showing a manufacturing apparatus 1 for a stretchable member preferably used in the present invention. The manufacturing apparatus 1 includes an adhesive coating section A, an elastic body attaching section B, an elastic body cutting section C, and an illustration. Not provided with a base sheet cutting part. The long base sheet 2 having a predetermined width is unwound from a roll (not shown), and is conveyed to the adhesive coating section A along the direction of arrow D. In the adhesive application section A, an adhesive is applied on one surface of the base sheet 2 to provide an adhesive section 4. The bonding portion 4 has a substantially rectangular shape, and is provided regularly over the entire region in the width direction except for the left and right side portions of the base sheet 2 and at a predetermined length in the longitudinal direction. As a result, a non-adhesion portion 5 is formed between two adjacent adhesion portions 4. The width and length of the bonding part 4 and the length of the non-bonding part 5 are appropriately selected according to the use of the elastic member made of the base sheet 2 to which the elastic body is adhered.
[0009]
An elastic body sticking section B is disposed downstream of the adhesive coating section A. In this elastic body sticking section B, a rotatable cylindrical elastic body guide roller 6 is arranged so that the width direction thereof is orthogonal to the conveying direction of the base sheet 2. The guide roller 6 is arranged so that its peripheral surface is in contact with the base sheet 2, and acts as a pressure roller for the elastic body to the bonding portion 4. The guide roller 6 is provided with a plurality of guide grooves 7, 7,... At predetermined intervals in the width direction and in the circumferential direction. The plurality of thread-like or band-like elastic bodies 8, 8,... Drawn out from a roll (not shown) are guided by the respective guide grooves 7 so as to be parallel to each other in an extended state. Then, the elastic body 8 is stuck on the base sheet 2 via the bonding portion 4 by pressure bonding by the guide roller 6.
[0010]
A rotatable turning roller 9 is disposed downstream of the elastic body attaching portion B, and the covering sheet 10 fed from a roll (not shown) is guided by the turning roller 9 and adheres to the base sheet 2. The elastic body 8 is covered. In addition, a smooth roller 11 that can rotate so as to face the turning roller 9 is disposed on the elastic body non-sticking surface side of the base sheet 2, and is pressed between the two sheets by pressing by the two rollers. The elastic body 8 is pinched and adhered.
[0011]
An elastic body cutting portion C is disposed downstream of the turning roller 9. In the elastic body cutting portion C, a pair of rollers 12 and 13 rotating in directions different from each other are arranged, and the base sheet 2 on which the elastic body 8 is stuck is placed between the rollers 12 and 13. Inserted. Each of these two rollers is heatable and comprises a roll cutter 12 and a smooth roller (anvil roller) 13. Then, the roll cutter 12 is arranged on the side of the covering sheet 10, and the smooth roller 13 is arranged on the side of the base sheet 2. The roll cutter 12 is provided with at least one (in this embodiment, one) ridge 14 in the width direction. The width of the ridge 14 is slightly larger than the width of the bonding portion 4, and its upper surface is an elongated rectangular flat surface. The length W of the upper surface (see FIG. 2A) is generally preferably 1.0 to 5.0 mm. The arc length between adjacent ridges on the roll cutter 12 is the same as the distance between adjacent non-adhesive portions. In the present embodiment, since only one ridge is provided as described above, the arc length between adjacent ridges is equal to the circumferential length of the roll cutter 12. That is, in the present embodiment, the circumferential length of the roll cutter 12 is the same as the distance between the adjacent non-adhesive portions 5.
[0012]
The transfer of the base sheet and the rotation of the rollers 12 and 13 mean that the ridge 14 of the roll cutter 12 is opposed to the smooth roller 13 and that the non-adhesive portion 5 of the base sheet is 13 is synchronized. As a result, the elastic body 8 of the non-adhesive portion 5 is cut under pressure by the pressing between the ridge 14 and the smooth roller 13.
[0013]
The details of this cutting will be described with reference to FIG. 2. First, as shown in FIG. 2A, the elastic body 8 sandwiched and fixed between the sheets 2 and 10 is transported in the direction of arrow D. At this time, the roll cutter 12 and the smooth roller 13 may each be heated to a predetermined temperature. In the state shown in FIG. 2A, the ridge 14 of the roll cutter 12 and the smooth roller 13 are not opposed to each other, and the non-adhesion portion 5 connects the center of the roll cutter 12 and the center of the smooth roller 13. It has not reached the connecting line.
[0014]
When the transport of the base sheet further proceeds, as shown in FIG. 2B, the non-adhesive portion 5 reaches a line connecting the center of the roll cutter 12 and the center of the smooth roller 13, and the ridge of the roll cutter 12. 14 and the smoothing roller 13 face each other. As a result, the non-adhesive portion 5 is heated by pressing between the ridges 14 of the roll cutter 12 and the smooth roller 13 and, if necessary, is cut, so that only the elastic body 8 in the non-adhesive portion 5 is cut off. The cutting of the elastic body 8 is performed on a line S (see FIG. 1) that substantially bisects the non-adhesive portion 5 in the longitudinal direction, but the cutting position is not limited to this position. The cutting may be performed at the position of S ′ or S ″ (each shown in FIG. 1) which is a position slightly inside the portion. As described above, the elastic body 8 is attached to the base material sheet in the stretched state. Therefore, the elastic body 8 which has been in the expanded state by the above cutting is released from the expanded state, and contracts in the front-rear direction from the cutting position.
[0015]
The pressure in the pressure cutting described above depends on the thickness of the elastic body and the base sheet, the number of the elastic bodies, the conveying speed of the base sheet, and the like, but is generally 100 to 3000 N / cm in linear pressure, particularly 1000 to 2000 N / cm. cm is preferable. By applying pressure in such a range, only the elastic body 8 can be cut more easily without damaging the base sheet. Further, since the cutting can be performed without stopping the conveyance of the base sheet, the productivity is also improved.
[0016]
At the time of the cutting, as described above, simultaneously with the pressurization, the non-adhesive portion 5 may be heated by heating the roll cutter 12 and / or the smooth roller 13 as necessary. The heating temperature of the roll cutter 12 and / or the smoothing roller 13 depends on the materials of the elastic body and the base sheet, the number of the elastic bodies, the conveying speed of the base sheet, and the like, but is generally 30 to 250 ° C., particularly preferably 50 to 150 ° C. It is preferably set to ° C. By performing such heating, only the elastic body 8 in the non-bonded portion 5 can be cut more effectively at higher speed.
[0017]
The temperature of the heated non-adhesive portion 5 is substantially equal to the heating temperature of the roll cutter 12 and / or the smooth roller 13 except for a case where the transport speed is extremely high, though slightly affected by the transport speed of the base sheet 2. . The exact temperature of the non-bonded portion 5 can be measured using a measuring device such as an infrared thermometer.
[0018]
When heating the roll cutter 12 and the smooth roller 13, the temperatures may be the same or different. The heating temperature of the smoothing roller 13 is preferably around or below the melting point of the constituent material of the base sheet 2 from the viewpoint of preventing the base sheet 2 from being damaged.
[0019]
As the base sheet used in the method for cutting an elastic body of the present invention, a woven fabric, a nonwoven fabric, a knit, a film, a paper, or the like is used. As these constituent materials, various synthetic resins, natural fibers such as pulp, and recycled fibers such as rayon are used. The basis weight of the base sheet is generally 10 to 50 g / m 2 , particularly preferably 15 to 30 g / m 2 .
[0020]
As the elastic body 8, various elastomer resins are used. Although it depends on the application, when the elastic body 8 is in the form of a thread, its thickness is generally preferably 100 to 1000 denier, particularly preferably 500 to 1000 denier. On the other hand, when the elastic body 8 is in the shape of a band, the thickness is generally preferably 0.01 to 0.1 mm, particularly preferably 0.02 to 0.05 mm.
[0021]
The base sheet from which only the elastic body 8 has been cut as described above is cut into a non-adhesive section 5 by a known cutting means in a base sheet cutting section (not shown) which is the next step following the cutting of the elastic body 8. Is cut to obtain a stretchable member for each leaf. Alternatively, after being wound once, the base sheet of the non-adhesive portion 5 is cut by a known cutting means into a stretchable member in a separate step. Alternatively, it is processed as it is and cut by a known means at the stage of a final product. The cutting of the base sheet of the non-adhesive portion 5 may be performed for each non-adhesive portion 5 depending on the use of the obtained elastic member, or some of the cuts may be performed as shown in FIG. 3 described below. May be performed regularly at every non-adhesive portion.
[0022]
The elastic member 15 obtained in this manner is used as a waist gather fixed between the top sheet 17 and the back sheet 18 at the waist of the disposable diaper 16 as shown in FIG. 3, for example. In this stretchable member 15, the elastic body is cut at each non-adhesive portion 5, but the base sheet is cut every other non-adhesive portion 5. As a result, the waist gathers form intermittent gathers.
[0023]
The scope of the present invention is not limited to the above embodiment, and various changes can be made without departing from the spirit of the present invention.
For example, in the above embodiment, two base sheets are used, but instead, only one base sheet may be used. In this case, arranging the roll cutter 12 on the elastic member sticking surface side of the base sheet and disposing the smooth roller 13 on the elastic member non-sticking surface side can effectively cut the elastic member 8. Preferred from the point.
Also, as shown in FIG. 4, one base sheet 2 is used, an elastic body 8 is adhered to the base sheet 2, and then the base sheet 2 is folded back along its longitudinal direction (2 The elastic body 8 may be cut off (only folded) after the elastic body 8 is covered, and the elastic body 8 is sandwiched and adhered between the folded base sheets 2.
In addition, the shape of the ridge 14 of the roll cutter 12 is not limited to the above-described one. For example, the width of the ridge 14 may be smaller than the width of the bonding portion 4 or the width of the ridge 14 in the width direction of the roll cutter 12. May be provided intermittently. By forming the ridge 14 in such a shape, it is possible to cut only an arbitrary elastic body, and it is possible to impart various variations to the obtained elastic member according to the application.
Further, as the roll cutter 12 of the cutting apparatus 1 shown in FIG. 1, a cutter provided with two or more ridges may be used.
In order to more effectively perform the pressure cutting, a non-adhesive portion 5 may be preheated to a predetermined temperature before the pressure cutting by using a pair of heat rollers, an oven heater, or the like.
[0024]
【The invention's effect】
ADVANTAGE OF THE INVENTION According to this invention, it can cut | disconnect only an elastic body easily and at high speed, without damaging a base material sheet.
Further, since a complicated device is unnecessary, cutting can be performed easily and at low cost.
Also, by appropriately changing the shape of the ridge of the roll cutter, only an arbitrary elastic body can be cut.
