本発明は、各種の負荷に対する操作を1箇所で行なうことができる多機能スイッチに関するものである。

【従来の技術】
一般に、負荷に対する動作の指示はスイッチを用いて行なわれており、多数の負荷が存在するような環境では同種の負荷ごとに一括して1つのスイッチで操作しているのが現状である。
また、負荷が多くなると負荷とスイッチとの間の配線数が増加して配線施工が面倒になるから、図41に示すような遠隔監視制御システムを用いることによって配線数の増加を抑制することも考えられている。図示するものは1台の制御端末器32によって最大4個の負荷Lを個別に制御できるものである。つまり、各制御端末器32に個別に与えられた制御用アドレスのほかに各制御端末器32には2ビットの負荷番号が設定されており、負荷番号の指定によってどの負荷Lを制御するかを選択することができるのである。操作端末器31は制御端末器32と同様に操作用アドレスと負荷番号とが設定されており、最大4個の操作用のスイッチS0 を接続することができる。

操作端末器31および制御端末器32はそれぞれ複数台設けられ、2線式の信号線Lsを介して伝送制御装置30に接続される。各操作端末器31にはそれぞれ個別の操作用アドレスが設定され、各制御端末器32にはそれぞれ個別の制御用アドレスが設定されているのであって、伝送制御装置30は操作用アドレスおよび制御用アドレスを用いて操作端末器31および制御端末器32を個別に認識する。

伝送制御装置30は信号線Lsに対して、図42(a)に示すフォーマットの伝送信号Vsを送出する。すなわち、信号送出開始を示す同期信号SY、伝送信号Vsのモードを示すモードデータMD、操作端末器31や制御端末器32を各別に呼び出すためのアドレスデータ(負荷番号を含む)AD、負荷Lを制御する制御データCD、伝送誤りを検出するためのチェックサムデータCS、操作端末器31や制御端末器32からの返送信号を受信するタイムスロットである信号返送期間WTよりなる双極性(±24V)の時分割多重信号であり、パルス幅変調によってデータが伝送されるようになっている(図42(b))。各操作端末器31および各制御端末器32では、信号線Lsを介して受信した伝送信号Vsにより伝送されたアドレスデータADがあらかじめ設定されている操作用アドレスまたは制御用アドレスに一致すると、伝送信号Vsから制御データCDを取り込むとともに、伝送信号Vsの信号返送期間WTに監視データを電流モード信号(信号線Lsを適当な低インピーダンスを介して短絡することにより送出される信号)として返送する。

伝送制御装置30から所望の操作端末器31や制御端末器32にデータを伝送する場合には、モードデータMDを制御モードとし、操作端末器31または制御端末器32の操作用アドレスまたは制御用アドレスをアドレスデータADとする伝送信号Vsを送出し、この伝送信号Vsを信号線Lsに送出すれば、アドレスデータADに一致する操作端末器31または制御端末器32が制御データCDを受け取り、信号返送期間WTに監視データを返送する。伝送制御装置30では送出した制御データCDと信号返送期間WTに受信した監視データとの関係によって制御データCDが所望の操作端末器31または制御端末器32に伝送されたことを確認する。制御端末器32は受け取った制御データCDに従って負荷Lを制御するための負荷制御信号を出力し、操作端末器31では受け取った制御データCDに従って負荷Lの動作確認表示を行なうための監視信号を出力する。

一方、伝送制御装置30は常時はモードデータMDをダミーモードとした伝送信号Vsを一定時間間隔で送出しており、操作端末器31が伝送制御装置30に対して何らかの情報を伝送しようとするときには、ダミーモードの伝送信号Vsの同期信号SYに同期させて図42(c)のような割込信号を発生させる。このとき、操作端末器31は割込フラグを設定して伝送制御装置30との以後の情報授受に備える。伝送制御装置30では割込信号を受信すると、モードデータMDを割込ポーリングモードとしかつアドレスデータADの上位の半数のビット(アドレスデータADを8ビットとすれば上位4ビット)を順次増加させながら伝送信号を送出し、割込信号を発生した操作端末器31では、割込ポーリングモードの伝送信号のアドレスデータADの上位4ビットが操作端末器31に設定されている操作用アドレスの上位4ビットに一致するときに、信号返送期間WTに操作用アドレスの下位の半数のビットを伝送制御装置30に返送する。このように、伝送制御装置30は割込信号を発生した操作端末器31を16個ずつまとめて探すので、比較的短い時間で操作端末器31を発見することができる。このようにして伝送制御装置30が割込信号を発生した操作端末器31の操作用アドレスを獲得すると、モードデータMDを監視モードとし、獲得したアドレスデータADを持つ伝送信号を信号線Lsに送出するのであって、この伝送信号に対して操作端末器31は伝送しようとする情報を信号返送期間WTに返送するのである。最後に、伝送制御装置30は割込信号を発生した操作端末器31に対して割込リセットを指示する信号を送出し、操作端末器31の割込フラグを解除する。以上のようにして、操作端末器31から伝送制御装置30への情報伝送は、伝送制御装置30から操作端末器31への4回の信号伝送(ダミーモード、割込ポーリングモード、監視モード、割込リセット)によって完了する。伝送制御装置30が所望の制御端末器32の動作状態を知ろうとするときには、モードデータMDを監視データとした伝送信号を送出するだけでよい。

上述の動作を簡単にまとめる。まず、操作端末器31に対してスイッチS0 による操作入力があると、操作入力に対応した監視データを伝送制御装置30に返送し、伝送制御装置30が制御端末器32に制御データCDを伝送すると、制御端末器32は負荷制御信号を出力して負荷Lを制御する。ここで、制御端末器32には負荷監視入力が与えられ、負荷監視入力に対応する監視データを伝送制御装置30に返送し、返送された監視データを操作端末器31に伝送する。この伝送信号によって操作端末器31では監視信号を出力する。監視出力は通常は発光ダイオードよりなる動作確認灯の点灯・消灯に用いられる。

図示する遠隔監視制御システムでは、信号線Lsに調光用制御端末器33は負荷である照明負荷の光出力を制御するものであって、伝送信号Vsにより照明負荷の光出力の増加または減少が指示されると光出力を時間経過に伴って変化させ別の伝送信号により停止が指示されると光出力の変化を停止するものである。調光用制御端末器33は、調光用操作端末器38と対応付けられており、調光用操作端末器38には負荷Lの光出力の増加と減少とを指示する操作部が設けられ、操作部を押操作すると伝送信号によって調光用制御端末器33では光出力を変化させる。また、操作部の操作を停止すると(つまり押操作を止めると)、別の伝送信号によって調光用制御端末器33では光出力の変化を停止させる。調光用操作端末器38には負荷Lのオンオフのための操作部も設けられ、この操作部の操作によって負荷Lを消灯させると、次に負荷Lを点灯させたときに前の光出力で負荷Lが点灯するようになっている。前の光出力は各調光用制御端末器33が記憶している。

ところで、この種の遠隔監視制御システムでは、操作側と制御側とのアドレスの対応関係を伝送制御装置30で管理しているから、伝送制御装置30において1つの操作用アドレスに対して複数個の制御用アドレスを対応付けておけば、1つのスイッチS0 で複数個の負荷Lを一括して制御することが可能である。このような一括制御にはグループ制御とパターン制御とがある。グループ制御では複数の負荷を同じ制御状態に制御し、パターン制御では複数の負荷を予め設定した制御状態に制御する。グループ制御やパターン制御を行なう一括制御用操作端末器39は一括制御として定められている操作用アドレスを用いるが、他の構成は他の操作端末器と同様のものである。図示例では調光用操作端末器38と同じ形式の一括制御用操作端末器39を設けており、一括制御用操作端末器39により複数の負荷Lを一斉に調光することが可能になっている。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
上述のような遠隔監視制御システムを用いるか否かにはかかわらず、負荷の動作を指示するための、スイッチないし操作側の端末器(操作端末器31、調光用操作端末器38、一括制御用操作端末器39)はそれぞれ単機能に構成されているものであって、会議室のように多数の負荷が存在する場所で各負荷の動作を指示しようとすると、多数のスイッチないし操作側の端末器を設けなければならず、スイッチや操作側の端末器の占有スペースが大きくなるという問題がある。

また、会議室などでは通常の会議時、OHP(オーバーヘッドプロジェクタ)の使用時など、使用する状況(以下、シーンという)に応じて各種負荷を連動させて制御したい場合がある。たとえば、スクリーンを降ろし、照明負荷の光出力を低減し、電動カーテンを閉じるというような一連の作業を1つの指示で行ないたい場合がある。このようなときには、各負荷の連動関係を設定し、かつその連動関係で負荷を制御するように指示するためのスイッチないし操作部が必要である。これは、上述した遠隔監視制御システムではパターン制御により実現可能であるが、パターン制御の設定作業には各負荷ごとの操作を行なうための操作部が必要であって、結局は操作側の端末器の台数が多くなり占有スペースが大きくなるのである。

本発明は上記事由に鑑みて為されたものであり、その目的は、多数の負荷の動作を指示可能としながらも占有スペースが比較的少ない多機能スイッチを提供することにある。

【課題を解決するための手段】
請求項1の発明は、手操作入力を検出する入力装置と、入力装置に近接して配置され文字および図形を表示可能な表示器と、表示器の表示内容に関連付けられている入力装置の操作に応答して負荷を制御する操作モードと表示器の表示内容および入力装置の操作に対する応答を設定する設定モードとを選択可能なスイッチ処理部とを備え、回路部を収納する前ボディと前ボディに結合される中プレートとの間に入力装置および表示器を挟持した操作表示ユニットと、壁に固定するための取付部を備えた取付片を枠本体に突設した取付枠と枠本体の後面に結合される後ボディとの間の空間に回路部を収納した本体ユニットとを凹凸係合する結合部により着脱自在に結合して器体を構成し、本体ユニットに内蔵した回路部と操作表示ユニットに内蔵した回路部とを電線を介して接続して成るものである。この構成によれば、入力装置の操作に対する応答を各種に設定することで入力装置に各種機能を持たせることが可能であり、しかも入力装置の機能に合わせて表示器の表示内容を変更することができるから、限られたスペースで多機能の操作が可能になるのであって、多数の負荷を操作する場合であっても占有スペースを従来よりも小さくすることが可能になる。しかも、スイッチ処理部は操作モードと設定モードとを選択可能であるから、設定モードにおいて設置条件に合わせた所要機能のみを持たせてカスタマイズすることができる。加えて、本体ユニットと操作表示ユニットとが別体であることによって個々にメンテナンスを行なうことができる。しかも、本体ユニットと操作表示ユニットとは凹凸係合する結合部により結合されるから、互いにねじのような固定具を用いることなく短時間で着脱することが可能になる。すなわち、施工時間が短くなるのである。

請求項2の発明は、請求項1の発明において、信号線を通して伝送される伝送信号に含まれたアドレスデータがあらかじめ設定されているアドレスに一致するとその伝送信号に含まれている制御データに従って負荷を制御する制御端末器を備えた遠隔監視制御システムに用いられ、複数個のアドレスを設定可能なアドレス設定部と、前記入力装置と前記表示器とからなる操作部を操作するとアドレス設定部によりその操作部に対応付けられているアドレスおよび操作部の操作による操作データを信号線に送出する伝送処理部とを備え、アドレスによって対応関係が設定されている制御端末器に対する制御データとして操作データを伝送することにより負荷を制御するものである。この構成では、複数個のアドレスを備え、かつ入力装置と表示器とによって操作部を構成しているから、限られたスペースで多数の操作部を設けることができるのであって、多数の負荷を操作する場合に操作側の端末器の占有スペースを従来よりも小さくすることができる。

請求項4の発明は、請求項1または請求項2の発明において、前記入力装置を表示器の画面に重ね合わされた透明なタッチパネルとしたものである。この構成によれば、画面の表示に操作箇所を一致させることが可能であり、操作箇所が分かりやすくなる。しかも、画面の表示内容に応じて特定箇所に軽く触れるだけで負荷を操作することができる。また、タッチパネルは触れた箇所を検出することができるから、指などで触れたときに区別される領域をタッチパネルに多数設けることができるのであって、必要に応じて多数の操作箇所を設けることが可能である。ここに、タッチパネルは抵抗感圧方式のものを用いるのが望ましい。

請求項5の発明は、請求項1または請求項2の発明において、器体が大角連用形の配線器具の3個モジュールを3個並設した3連モジュール寸法に相当する寸法を有し、取付部は3連モジュール寸法の配線器具を取付可能な取付枠と同じ取付ピッチであって、取付部として、配線器具用のスイッチボックスに螺合するボックスねじが挿通可能なボックス取付孔と、ボックス取付孔を通して挿通される引締めねじに螺合して引締めねじとの螺合量を変えることにより一端部と取付片との距離を変化させる挟み金具の他端部が挿入される枢支孔と、木ねじが挿通される直付け孔とを有するものである。この構成によれば、施工の際に配線器具用として提供されている規格品の施工部材を用いることができるのであって、特別な施工部材を用いることなく壁面などに容易に施工することができる。また、取付部としてボックス取付孔と枢支孔と直付け孔とを設けているから、壁に埋め込んだスイッチボックスにボックスねじを用いて取り付けたり、壁パネルに取付用の開口を形成して挟み金具によって取り付けたり、木質などの壁に木ねじを用いて取り付けたりすることができ、各種の壁に取り付けることが可能である。しかも、一般の配線器具用の取付枠と同様の施工方法であるから、新機能を持ちながら従来の施工方法を踏襲することによって、施工技術の習得に要する教育費用の増加を抑制することができる。

請求項6の発明は、請求項2の発明において、各操作部に対応付けた負荷の関連情報を記入するネーム板を有した器体を備え、ネーム板が器体の前面の一部に設けた第1の記入部を覆う位置と第1の記入部を露出させた形で器体の前面にほぼ平行になる位置との間で開閉自在であって、ネーム板の表裏にはそれぞれ第2の記入部と第3の記入部とが設けられ、第1ないし第3の記入部に負荷の関連情報を記入可能としたものである。この構成によれば、ネーム板を開閉自在に設けてネーム板で覆われる部位とネーム板の表裏との3面に負荷の関連情報を書き込むことができるから、限られたスペースに負荷の関連情報を多数記入することができ、入力装置に設定される多数の機能を各記入部に記入することができる。しかも、ネーム板で覆われる第1の記入部および第1の記入部に対向するようにネーム板に設けた第2の記入部は第3の記入部が表になっている状態では隠されるから、常時使用するような負荷の関連情報は第3の記入部に記述しておき、必要に応じてネーム板を開いて第1の記入部や第2の記入部に記述した内容を見るようにすれば、常時は見栄えのよい外観が得られるものである。

【発明の実施の形態】
本実施形態は、遠隔監視制御システムの操作側の端末器として用いることができる多機能スイッチを示す。また、本実施形態においては、負荷Lのオンオフのみを指示する操作端末器31や調光用操作端末器38や一括制御用操作端末器39などの操作側の端末器のアドレスを自由に混在させて設定できるようにアドレスの設定範囲を操作内容別に区別しないようにしてある。もちろん、操作側の端末器と制御側の端末器とはアドレスの対応付けを行なってその関係テーブルを伝送制御装置30に登録し、かつ各端末器の機能を登録する点は従来と同様である。ここに、操作側と制御側とで対応付けられているアドレスを同じ値に設定すると対応関係がわかりやすいから、その意味でチャンネルという概念を用い、一対一に対応する操作側と制御側とは同一チャンネルに設定されるものとする。

上述のように同一チャンネル(アドレス)では負荷番号の指定により4つの負荷Lが制御可能となっており、たとえば、表1における「0−1」という表記は「0」チャンネルの「1」番目の負荷Lという意味である。このようにして設定されるチャンネルと負荷番号との1つの組み合わせに対して、それぞれ操作側の端末器と制御側の端末器とを対応付けることができるのである。このような対応付け示す関係テーブルは伝送制御装置30にあらかじめ設けられており、伝送制御装置30ではシステムの電源投入時に各端末器を順次アクセスして各端末器で設定された機能内容を上記関係テーブルに記述するようになっている。

本実施形態における遠隔監視制御システムは、図2のように多機能スイッチ1を設けた点が従来構成との主な相違点である。さらに具体的に説明すると、本実施形態では、負荷として白熱灯L1 、インバータ式の点灯装置を有した蛍光灯L2 、空調機のファンコイルL3 、スピーカL4 を備えている。白熱灯L1 は、灯数に応じた容量の白熱灯調光用制御端末器(1500W、800W、500W)331 〜333 により制御される。蛍光灯L2 は、点灯・消灯を制御するリレーを有した制御端末器32および光出力を制御する蛍光灯調光用制御端末器334 ,335 により制御される。調光用制御端末器335 は0〜10Vの電圧信号を蛍光灯L2 に与え、蛍光灯L2 はこの電圧信号により調光量を変化させるように構成されている。ファンコイルL3 はファンコイル制御端末器336 により動作強度が強中弱の3段階に制御され、スピーカL4 はボリューム制御端末器337 により音量が制御される。 この他の負荷として電動カーテン、電動スクリーン、換気用のファンなども用いることが可能である。

操作側の端末器としては、従来構成と同様のスイッチS0 を備えた制御端末器31、および調光用操作端末器381 ,382 、接点出力が得られる各種センサを接続する接点入力操作端末器311 が設けられる。さらに、ワイヤレス送信器34aに操作部を設けワイヤレス受信器34bと組み合わせて用いることによっても操作側の端末器を構成することができる。調光用操作端末器381 ,382 は主として操作部分の寸法および構造が相違するだけであって(調光用操作端末器381 は比較的小さいハンドルを有するものであり、調光用操作端末器382 はいわゆるワイドハンドルを有するものである)、基本的な動作については同様のものである。また、信号線Lsを延長するために図示例では信号線Lsに上に中継器(増幅器)35を挿入して伝送信号を減衰させずに伝送できるようにしてある。多機能スイッチ11 ,12 は図示例では2台接続してあり、一方の多機能スイッチ11 はカラー表示、他方の多機能スイッチ12 はモノクロ表示になっている。さらに、カラー表示の多機能スイッチ11 には交流24Vの電源がリモコントランス(後述する)36から供給されている。表示がカラーかモノクロかは機能上ではほとんど差異がないから、以下では両者を区別せず多機能スイッチ1として説明する。

多機能スイッチ1は、図1に示すように、液晶表示器よりなる表示器にバックライトを一体化した液晶部11と、液晶部11の画面に重ねて配置された透明なタッチパネル12とを備える。液晶部11には多数個の画素を縦横にマトリクス状に配列したマトリクス表示型のものを用い、画素の組み合わせによって図形を表示するようになっている。タッチパネル12は、透明なシート状部材に透明電極よりなる接点部を多数個配列し、シート状部材に指などを触れるとどの部位に触れたかを出力する抵抗感圧方式のものである。

メインマイコン20は、液晶部11の表示内容を指示するデータをラッチ回路23を通して液晶コントローラ24に引き渡す。液晶コントローラ24はDRAM25にあらかじめ登録してあるデータを用いて液晶部11の所定位置に所定内容を表示する。DRAM25の内容は後述するようにユーザが設定可能であって、メインマイコン20を設定モードとしてタッチパネル12を用いて設定した内容をDRAM25に蓄積し、メインマイコン20を操作モードとしてタッチパネル12を操作するとDRAM25に蓄積されているデータを用いて液晶部11の表示内容が設定される。液晶部11のコントラストやバックライトの明るさは、メインマイコン20がコントラスト調整部26やバックライト用インバータ回路27を制御することによって自動的に調節される。さらに、メインマイコン20にはブザー28が接続され、タッチパネル12の所定領域に触れた場合や誤操作の場合にはブザー28を鳴動させて入力を受け付けたことや誤操作があったことを音で報知する。ここに、入力の受付と誤操作とは異なる音に設定しておくのが望ましい。

多機能スイッチ1は、液晶部11にバックライトを備えるなど、比較的大きい電力を必要とするから、内部電源を信号線Lsから得るのではなく、別途に給電される交流24Vを電源回路29で整流し電圧安定化することによって内部電源を得ている。電源回路29に供給される交流24Vは、伝送制御装置30とともに分電盤内などに配置されるリモコントランス36に接続されている。リモコントランス36は、リモコンリレー(伝送信号によらずに別に設けたスイッチによってオンオフが可能なリレー)を用いる場合にリモコンリレーに給電するために従来より設けられているものである。このリモコントランス36から出力される交流24Vを多機能スイッチ1に供給することで、多機能スイッチ1には交流100Vなどの商用電源から内部電源を得る必要がなく、電源トランスや大型の平滑コンデンサが不要になる。内部電源としては、5V、12V、20Vなどの電圧を用いるが、24Vからの降圧であるから必要個数の電圧安定化回路を設ける程度の簡単な構成で目的の電圧を得ることができる。

このように、多機能スイッチ1に対して低電圧の交流電源を供給することによって、小勢力線である信号線Lsに対して電源線を分離するための絶縁分離用のセパレータなどが不要になる。つまり、多機能スイッチ1のケースをスイッチボックスのような埋込ボックスを用いて埋込型として壁面などに配置している場合であって埋込ボックス内に商用電源と信号線のような小勢力線とが混在するときには、安全性の確保のために埋込ボックス内にセパレータを配置することが義務付けられているが、電源線が交流24Vを供給するものであり、かつ信号線Lsは双極性の24Vの伝送信号を伝送するものであるから、電源線と信号線Lsとが混在していてもセパレータが不要になるのである。また、多機能スイッチ1での降圧量が少ないから、発熱量も減少することになる。しかも、降圧トランスが不要であるから小型化かつ軽量化が可能である。

操作表示ユニット2は、前面(図3の上面)が開口した前ボディ41と、前ボディ41の内底面に立設されたボス41aに載置されるパネル状の液晶部11と、液晶部11の前面側に積層されるシート状のタッチパネル12とを備える。タッチパネル12の前面側には矩形枠状の中プレート42が重ね合わされ、液晶部11の表示領域は中プレート42の開口窓42aを通して前面側に露出する。さらに、中プレート42の前面には矩形枠状の化粧プレート43が積層される。前ボディ41と中プレート42とは、前ボディ41の後面側からボス41aを通して挿入される皿小ねじ44を中プレート42に螺合させることによって結合される。また、化粧プレート43は、図4に示すように、シート状ないしテープ状の両面接合材9を用いて中プレート42の前面に貼着される。前ボディ41の開口縁には位置決め突片41bが突設され、中プレート42の周面に形成された位置決め溝42bに位置決め突片41bを位置合わせすることによって、前ボディ41と中プレート42との組違いを防止してある。また、液晶部11およびタッチパネル12は前ボディ41と中プレート42との間に挟持されるのであって、液晶部11およびタッチパネル12は皿小ねじ44の通る位置決め部11b,12bを非対称な位置に設けることによって、組違いを防止してある。

プリント基板53aは信号線Lsやリモコントランス36に接続されるから、外部電線を接続するための端子を有しており、この端子には速結端子構造を有した端子ブロック54が用いられる。ここに、端子ブロック54は、端子板および端子板の一部に対向する鎖錠ばね(板ばねを屈曲させたもの)をケース内に備え、ケースに設けた電線挿入口を通して挿入される電線を鎖錠ばねのばね力により端子板との間に挟持するものである。また、外部電線を保持した状態では鎖錠ばねの端縁が外部電線に食い込むことによって外部電線を抜け止めしているが、ケース内に設けた解除釦を操作することで、鎖錠ばねを外部電線から引き離すと外部電線を引き抜くことができるように構成されている。この種の速結端子構造は周知のものであって、端子板、鎖錠ばね、解除釦をケースに所要個数(ここでは4線接続用のものを用いている)収納することにより1部品として扱うことができるようにしてある。このような端子ブロック54を2個設けてそれぞれ信号用と電源用とに用いてある。端子ブロック54は後ボディ52の後壁の左右上端部に設けた露出窓52aに臨んで配置され、後ボディ52の後面側から外部電線が接続されるようになっている。プリント基板53aは、後ボディ52の内底面に突設したボス52bを通して後ボディ52の後面側から挿入されるナイロンリベット55を用いて後ボディ52に固定される。

ところで、各取付片51b,51cにはボックス取付孔59aと、枢支孔59bと、直付け孔59cとの3種類の孔が形成されている。ボックス取付孔59aは配線器具の施工に用いるスイッチボックスに螺合するボックスねじを挿通することができる孔であって、コンクリート壁のようにスイッチボックスを壁に埋め込んで施工する場合には、ボックス取付孔59aを用いて取付枠51を壁に固定することになる。また、枢支孔59は挟み金具と称する部材の一端部を引っかけて枢支するものであり、取付片51b,51cを通して挿入される引締めねじを挟み金具に螺合させ、その螺合量を変化させることによって挟み金具の他端部と取付片51b,51cとの距離が変化するようにしてある。つまり、パネル状の壁に取り付けるときには、壁に固定用の孔を形成し、壁の前面側に取付片51b,51cを当接させるとともに壁の後面側に挟み金具を当接させ、引締めねじを締め付けると、取付片51b,51cと挟み金具との間に壁が挟持されることによって、取付枠51を壁に固定することができるものである。さらに、直付け孔59cは木製の壁のように木ねじを螺合させることができる壁の場合に、直付け孔59cを通して木ねじを壁に螺合させることによって取付枠51を壁に固定するものである。

まず、上述した多機能スイッチ1を用いて負荷を制御する場合について説明する。照明負荷(白熱灯L1 ないし蛍光灯L2 )の点灯・消灯や調光の制御には、図11のような画面が表示される。照明負荷の点灯・消灯は1個の操作部で制御することができるが、調光は照明負荷の光出力の増加を指示するアップ操作部と減少を指示するダウン操作部と点灯・消灯を指示するオンオフ操作部とが操作部として必要であり、さらに光出力に応じたレベル表示を行なうレベル表示部と点灯・消灯を示す点灯・消灯表示部とが必要である。オンオフ操作部と点灯・消灯表示部とは照明負荷の点灯・消灯のみを行なう場合にも用いることができる。つまり、調光用の操作部と表示部とがあれば、点灯・消灯のみの操作部および表示部に兼用することができる。したがって、照明負荷用の制御部として図11に示すように、アップ操作釦S11、ダウン操作釦S12、オンオフ操作釦S13が設けられ、表示部として点灯・消灯表示部D11と、バー表示によるレベル表示部D12とが設けられる。点灯・消灯表示部D11はオンオフ操作釦S13に重ねて設けられ、黒塗り表示でオン、白抜き表示でオフを示す。照明負荷の点灯・消灯のみを指示する場合には、アップ操作釦S11、ダウン操作釦S12、レベル表示部D12は表示されず、オンオフ操作釦S13と点灯・消灯表示部D11とが表示される。

本実施形態の多機能スイッチ1は、制御対象をグループ制御することも可能である。グループ制御とは、あらかじめ指定された複数個の制御対象を一斉に同じ制御状態に制御することであって、たとえば指定された複数個の制御対象のオンオフの状態を一つの操作部で一括して指示したり、調光による光出力の大きさを一つの操作部で一括して指示するのである。グループ制御を行なうには、どの制御対象を一括して制御するかを指定する必要がある。また、多機能スイッチ1では制御対象をパターン制御することも可能になっている。パターン制御とは、あらかじめ指定された複数個の制御対象をあらかじめ設定された制御状態に制御することであって、たとえば1つの操作部の操作によって複数個の照明負荷についてそれぞれ異なる光出力に設定するのである。パターン制御を行なうには、どの制御対象をどのような制御状態に設定するかを指定する必要がある。
