Claims (4)

(57)【特許請求の範囲】(57) [Claims] 【請求項1】 第1の刺繍領域と、この第1の刺繍領域
の後に縫製動作が行なわれ該第1の刺繍領域に対して一
部がラップする接合部を介して接続状態とされる第2の
刺繍領域とを備える刺繍模様に関し、各刺繍領域を夫々
一方向に延びる縫い方向にて縫製しほぼ一定方向に延び
る縫目により埋めるような縫製動作に必要な刺繍データ
を作成する装置であって、 前記接合部にて第1の刺繍領域の縫目方向と第2の刺繍
領域の縫目方向とが交差する場合に、前記第1の刺繍領
域の縫目方向に基づいて、前記第2の刺繍領域における
縫製動作を前記縫い方向の両側のうちどちらからどちら
へ進行させるかの向きを、前記第1の刺繍領域の縫目を
縫込みにくい側の向きに決定する縫い方向向き決定手段
を備えることを特徴とする刺繍データ作成装置。

作成プログラムを記録した記録媒体であって、 前記刺繍データ作成プログラムは、前記接合部にて第1
の刺繍領域の縫目方向と第2の刺繍領域の縫目方向とが
交差する場合に、前記第1の刺繍領域の縫目方向に基づ
いて、前記第2の刺繍領域における縫製動作を前記縫い
方向の両側のうちどちらからどちらへ進行させるかの向
きを、前記第1の刺繍領域の縫目を縫込みにくい側の向
きに決定させることを特徴とする刺繍データ作成プログ
ラムを記録した記録媒体。

定させることを特徴とする請求項3記載の刺繍データ作
成プログラムを記録した記録媒体。
