側から着座させたバルブを吸気通路側に保持させたEG
Rバルブ装置において、前記EGR通路の終端部分を構
成する上流側湾曲部の湾曲終端を少なくとも弁座の上流
側端面より下流側に位置させるとともに、該弁座の近傍
を湾曲始端として上流側湾曲部と逆の方向に向って湾曲
する下流側湾曲部を吸気通路の上流端部に設けたことを
