2. Description of the Related Art The same applicant discloses in JP-B-4-52067 a mechanism for preventing backflow of ink in a ballpoint pen provided with a valve chamber in which a ball is loosely fitted. This is a synthetic resin mouth plastic with a required number of ridges that prevent balls from being pulled out in the valve chamber where the balls are loosely fitted, and when writing, the gap formed between the ridges. The ink is made to flow through the chip to communicate with the chip. There is also known a ball-point pen using an ink having a shear thinning property in which the viscosity is lowered by the rotation of the tip ball at the time of writing and the ink flows out. Generally, a ball-point pen using an ink having shear thinning viscosity has a large ink outflow amount (in order to increase the writing density) and has a large diameter of an ink containing tube to increase an ink loading amount. or,
Since the viscosity of the ink is smaller than that of the ink of the oil-based ballpoint pen, the flow resistance to the ink containing tube is small. Therefore,
Ink leakage (ink flows back to the rear end of the ink containing tube) easily occurs due to its own weight or impact. Therefore, a grease-like follower is provided at the trailing end of the ink, which normally moves following the consumption of the ink during writing, but suppresses backflow of the ink against its own weight and impact. However, even if the follower is provided, if ink immediately below the ball of the chip runs out when writing upward, there is a risk of conspicuous backflow due to the addition of the ink head, and the hands and clothes may be soiled. Also, since the viscosity of the ink is low and the amount of outflow is large, if the tip side is facing downward, the ink will bleed if there is a gap between the tip ball and the tip crimping portion (DC).
There is a problem.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION An object of the present invention is to improve a ballpoint pen which uses ink having a shear thinning property in which the viscosity is lowered by the rotation of the ball during writing and the ink flows out. It is possible to prevent ink backflow caused by upward writing and impact and direct current when the tip side is placed downward, and to prevent stains in the ball-point pen barrel, hands, and clothes. In addition, it prevents writing blurring that occurs due to ink running out due to air entrainment directly under the tip ball when an upward writing or impact is applied, and occurs due to incomplete drying between the tip ball and the inner edge of the chip holding part. It is possible to prevent blurring of writing.

By the way, FIG. 4 shows a second embodiment of the present invention. Since it is basically the same as the first embodiment, only the differences will be described. The front end of the spring 32 fitted in the chip 5 forms a seat, and the pusher body 30 having the rod shaft portion 31 is arranged at the front portion thereof, and the tip end of the rod shaft portion 31 is the rear end of the tip ball 5a. First, FIG. 1 shows a state before writing with the tip 5 facing downward, and at that time, the ball valve 15 has the spring 1
The bent end portion 19a of No. 7 is brought into contact with the bent end portion 19a, and the guide hole 21 is opened. The ink 22 that has entered the valve chamber 13 from the ink containing tube 4 through the guide hole 21 is guided to the rear end of the front end ball 5a. In this state, the tip ball 5a is brought into close contact with the inner edge of the chip holding portion by the pressing of the rod shaft portion 18, so that direct current of ink is prevented. In addition, since the tip ball 5a is slightly retracted by the writing pressure, a gap is created to allow the ink to flow out, and the writing reduces the viscosity due to the rotation of the tip ball 5a, causing a large amount of the ink to flow out. Strong writing is possible.

Directly below the tip ball 5a, there is a channel 5b (tip ball receiving seat having ink inflow grooves penetrating toward the chip inner hole at a plurality of locations), and a rod shaft portion is provided in the center hole of the channel 5b. 18 penetrates. The ink in the chip is guided right below the tip ball through the ink inflow groove and the gap between the center hole and the rod shaft portion 18.

Further, FIG. 2 shows a state in which the tip 5 is directed upward, and at that time, the ball valve 15 is in close contact with the ball receiving seat 14 of the valve chamber 13 and seals the guide hole 21. Even if the ink immediately below 5a is exhausted, the ink does not flow back. Therefore, the ink can immediately flow out when the tip 5 is turned downward, and blurring in writing can be prevented.
(By the way, in the structure without the ball valve, the ink works backward in the upward writing, so that air is trapped in the tip, and the ink does not immediately follow up in the downward writing, and blurring occurs.
Further, the entrainment of air is accumulated by repeating the upward writing. )

Further, since the tip ball 5a is always in close contact with the inner edge of the tip holding portion, the tip portion is dried to prevent writing blurring. Further, by the joint action of the tip ball 5a and the ball valve 15, even if an upward writing or an impact is applied, the entrainment of air is prevented, so that the writing blurring is prevented. Further, by appropriately providing the winding portion of the spring 17 along the shape of the hole in the tip, the flow rate of the ink is adjusted and the backflow tendency of the ink immediately below the tip ball at the time of upward writing (which affects writing blurring) is mitigated.

Since the second embodiment shown in FIG. 4 is basically the same as the first embodiment, only the essential points will be described. First, by providing a separate push body 30 at the front end of the spring 32, the swingability of the rod shaft portion 31 is good, and it is possible to select the frictional resistance (material, shape) of the portion in contact with the tip ball 5a. Is good.

Further, in the embodiment, unlike the conventional example, since there is no protrusion that abuts the ball valve in a non-removable manner, the precision of the mold for molding the joint 3 and the molding conditions become easier. (By the way, the ridges are undercut when the mold is released, so it is difficult to obtain dimensional accuracy.)
In addition, it becomes easy to fit and insert the ball valve into the valve chamber (the projection has a problem of damaging the projection because the ball valve is fitted and inserted by utilizing elastic deformation), which is advantageous for a machine assembly.

Further, when the refill of the ballpoint pen of the embodiment is mounted on the barrel 1, the base 2 is screwed with the collar portion 20 of the joint 3 abutting against the front end of the shaft portion 6, and at that time, it is locked. The ribs 8 of the tubular portion 7 bite against the stepped portion 9 of the mouthpiece 2 in a biting manner, so that play between the tip 5 and the mouthpiece 2 is prevented.

The structure and operation of the ball-point pen of the present invention are as described above, and the ball valve loosely fitted in the valve chamber can prevent backflow of ink due to upward writing and impact.
Also, since the tip ball is in close contact with the inner edge of the tip holding portion except when writing, direct current is prevented when the tip ball is placed downward, and accidents that stain the inside of the barrel, hands, clothes, etc. are prevented. Moreover, since ink immediately follows after upward writing or impact, blurring is prevented. Further, blurring of writing due to drying is also prevented. Further, in the ballpoint pen of the embodiment, the tip and the mouthpiece are rattled via the joint, so that there is an effect that the writing feeling is good.
