といった弊害を生じる。このような問題の発生が示唆し
ていることは、従来技術における潤滑成分としての黒鉛
や金属硫化物の作用、すなわち、銅系焼結合金母体の中
に微粒状に分散している非金属系成分(黒鉛や硫化物)
が、集電子から架線側接触面に移着して潤滑皮膜を形成
する効果には限界が有るということである。集電子が架
線に対して摺動する頻度が高くなると、黒鉛や金属硫化
物による潤滑皮膜形成能力が低下し、皮膜形成量の不足
や皮膜の消去を招き、架線側摺動面が荒損する。こうし
