【発明の詳細な説明】 【０００１】 【発明の属する技術分野】本発明は、ポストの差入口よ
り投入された郵便物以外の、例えば、タバコやマッチ等
の燃焼物やガム等が投函されたはがきや封書等の郵便物
の燃焼や、ポスト内部の汚染を防止するためのいたずら
防止用のポスト用異物収集装置に関するものである。 【０００２】 【従来の技術】図５は従来のポストの部分的に切断部を
有する斜視図である。 【０００３】図において、ポスト本体１は全体が縦長の
略直方体形状であり、その下部には支柱２が配設され、
ポスト本体１に形成された投函口となる差入口３の高さ
を設定している。ポスト本体１の一側面にはドアとして
開閉自在な扉４が形成されている。扉４の開閉は専任者
でないとできないように鍵付となっている。また、ポス
ト本体１の内部には、郵袋５が収納されている。差入口
３と郵袋５は１対１に対応し、ポスト本体１に対して差
入口３と郵袋５が１個づつのもの及び『都区内』、『都
区外』或いは『県内』、『県外』に対応して２個づつの
ものがある。 【０００４】差入口３のポスト本体１の内側には、ポス
ト本体１に投函された郵便物の取出しが行われないよう
にする盗難防止板６が配設されている。盗難防止板６は
差入口３のポスト本体１の内側上部に軸支されていて、
自重により差入口３のポスト本体１の内側を封止してい
る。 【０００５】ポスト本体１に収容されている郵袋５は、
袋本体７及びその開口部に配設した枠体８からなり、枠
体８はポスト本体１の内側の差入口３側及び差入口３の
反対側に平行して配設した郵袋受部９ａ，９ｂに載置さ
れている。ポスト本体１に対する郵袋５の出し入れは、
ポスト本体１の扉４を開放し、郵袋受部９ａ，９ｂに袋
本体７の開口部に配設した枠体８を載置して、郵袋受部
９ａ，９ｂを枠体８を摺動することによって、収納、離
脱がなされる。 【０００６】 【発明が解決しようとする課題】従来のポストは、悪戯
等によって差入口３より郵便物以外の異物、例えば、タ
バコやマッチ等の燃焼物やガム等を投入されたとき、郵
袋５内に落下し、郵袋５内にあるはがきや封書等の郵便
物や郵袋５自体を燃焼させたり、汚染してしまう可能性
がある。 【０００７】そこで、本発明は、新設のポストに配設す
ることができ、郵便物以外のタバコやマッチ等の燃焼物
やガム等を投入されたときでも、郵袋内の郵便物が損傷
することのないポスト用異物収集装置の提供を課題とす
るものである。 【０００８】 【課題を解決するための手段】請求項１にかかるポスト
用異物収集装置は、ポスト本体の差入口の内側下方で、
かつ、ポスト本体内の郵袋の上方に位置し、前記差入口
から投函された郵便物のみを選択して前記郵袋に導く選
択手段と、前記選択手段で選択された前記差入口から投
函された郵便物を除く異物を収容する異物収容手段と、
揺動自在に配設され、前記差入口から投函された運動エ
ネルギーを低減させる規制板とを具備し、前記選択手段
は、前記異物収容手段を構成する収容箱の上面及び前記
収容箱の前記規制板側の前面から前記収容箱の底部まで
異物を導くポスト用異物収納装置において、 前記選択手
段は、前記異物収容手段を構成する収容箱の上面に、前
記差入口に近い位置を高く、前記差入口から離れるに従
って低く形成し、前記差入口の方向に対して直角に所定
の間隔で複数の線材を配設し、前記選択手段と前記規制
板との間に、第１間隙を形成し、前記選択手段と前記収
容箱の立上前面との間に、たばこの外径よりも大きい第
２間隙を形成し、前記収納箱の立上前面と前記規制板と
の間に、たばこの外径より小さい第３の間隙を形成し、
前記規制板が、投げ込まれたたばこ又ははがきの運動エ
ネルギーによっては回動しないことにより、はがきは、
前記第１間隙及び前記第３間隙を通過して前記郵袋に導
かれ、たばこは、前記規制板で反射され第２間隙を通過
して前記収容箱の底部まで導かれることを特徴とする。 【０００９】 【発明の実施の形態】以下、本発明の実施の形態を図を
用いて説明する。 【００１０】なお、図中、従来例と同一符号及び記号は
従来例の構成部分と同一または相当する構成部分を示す
ものであるから、ここでは、その説明を省略する。 【００１１】図１は本発明の実施の形態であるポスト用
異物収集装置のポスト内部の断面図である。また、図２
は本発明の実施の形態であるポスト用異物収集装置の異
物収容手段のポストの内側からみた斜視図であり、図３
は図１の異物収容手段のポストの外側からみた斜視図で
ある。 【００１２】図において、二層となったポスト本体１の
内側上部には、差入口３が配設されている。差入口３の
ポスト本体１の内側には、ポスト本体１に投函された郵
便物の取出しが行われないようにする盗難防止板６が配
設されている。盗難防止板６は差入口３のポスト本体１
の内側上部に軸支されていて、自重により差入口３のポ
スト本体１の内側を封止している。差入口３の下部の端
部３ａは、その長さ方向の垂直断面からみて略直角程度
以下の角度に曲折されており、盗難防止板６を押圧して
手を入れた場合でも、差入口３の板金のエッジで怪我を
しない程度に処理されている。 【００１３】なお、差入口３の下部の端部３ａの下端
は、後述する異物収容手段１０の収容箱１１の上部の所
定間隔に配設された線材２１の上部に位置している。 【００１４】ポスト本体１に収容されている郵袋５は、
袋本体７及びその開口部に配設した枠体８からなり、枠
体８はポスト本体１の内側の差入口３側に配設された郵
袋受部９ａと、差入口３の反対側に平行して配設された
郵袋受部９ｂに載置されている。ポスト本体１に対する
郵袋５の出し入れは、ポスト本体１の扉４を開放し、郵
袋受部９ａ，９ｂに袋本体７の開口部に配設した枠体８
を載置して、郵袋受部９ａ，９ｂの上面に対してその枠
体８を摺動することによって、収納、離脱がなされる。
郵袋受部９ａ，９ｂは、端部が略Ｌ字状の棒材で、ポス
ト本体１の内側の面に、かつ、両者が平行して堅固に固
着されている。 【００１５】本実施の形態の差入口３から投函された郵
便物を除き、異物のみを収容する異物収容手段１０は、
次のように構成されている。 【００１６】全体を略直方体の箱の長手方向の稜線を含
み、斜に切断した全体形状を有する収容箱１１は、具体
的には、郵便物を除く異物のみを収容する底部１０ａを
有し、また、ポスト本体１の差入口３の内面に平行する
立上背面１０Ｂ、両側の左右面１０Ｃ，１０Ｄ、及び立
上背面１０Ｂに対向し、その立上背面１０Ｂよりも高さ
を低くした立上前面１０Ａを有している。本実施の形態
の収容箱１１は、たばこ等の燃焼物と長時間接触する可
能性があるため、耐熱性に優れたもので、溶接可能なス
テンレス等の板金を使用している。収容箱１１の立上背
面１０Ｂには、その面に平行する面で堅固に固着され及
びその長さ方向の垂直断面からみて略Ｃ字状に曲折され
た端部を有する引掛部材１２が接合されている。また、
前記略Ｃ字状に曲折された端部１２ａを上下端に有する
引掛部材１２は、前記引掛部材１２の前記略Ｃ字状に曲
折された端部１２ａ間に摺動自在に挿着または挿脱でき
る断面が略Ｔ字状の移動案内部材１３を挾持している。
この略Ｔ字状の移動案内部材１３はポスト本体１の内側
に配設されている。 【００１７】即ち、引掛部材１２の端部１２ａの上下間
に移動案内部材１３を挿入すると、移動案内部材１３に
沿って、引掛部材１２の端部１２ａ間が移動案内部材１
３を支持し、容易に外れることなく摺動自在となる。こ
れら引掛部材１２の端部１２ａと移動案内部材１３は、
本実施の形態の係合部１４を構成する。係合部１４は収
容箱１１の立上背面１０Ｂに平行する面で堅固に固着さ
れた引掛部材１２で、収容箱１１の位置決め及び保持を
行っている。即ち、収容箱１１の立上背面１０Ｂを、ポ
スト本体１の内側の面に平行する面とし、郵便物を除く
異物を収容する底部１０ａを水平方向に開口するように
位置決めし、収容物が容易に落下したり、また、盗難防
止板６を押圧して手を入れ、収容箱１１に外力を加えて
も、容易に移動しないようにしている。 【００１８】本実施の形態の差入口３から投函された郵
便物を除く異物を収容する異物収容手段１０は、収容箱
１１及び引掛部材１２の上下端の端部１２ａと移動案内
部材１３からなる係合部１４によって構成され、異物収
容手段１０の収容箱１１を取外し、収容箱１１から異物
を捨て、再度、引掛部材１２の端部１２ａの相互間に移
動案内部材１３を挟むように挿入し、異物収容手段１０
が所定の位置まで摺動されて設定される。 【００１９】本実施の形態の収容箱１１は、たばこ等の
燃焼物と長時間接触する可能性があるため、耐熱性に優
れたもので、溶接可能なステンレス等の板金を使用して
いる。収容箱１１の立上背面１０Ｂには、その面に平行
する面で堅固に固着された両端部１２ａを有する引掛部
材１２が接合されている。 【００２０】また、収容箱１１の開口には、差入口３か
ら投函された郵便物のみを選択して前記郵袋５に導く選
択手段２０として、複数本の丸棒を略Ｖ字状に折曲して
なる線材２１（図２，３参照）がその上端及び下端をス
ポット溶接により接合されている。この線材２１は所定
の間隔、例えば、はがきの短辺に対して２〜３本程度配
置される間隔に設定される。また、線材２１の太さは直
径数ｍｍ程度のものが好適である。この線材２１は、異
物を収容する収容箱１１の上面に、差入口３に近い位置
を高く、差入口３から離れるに従って低く形成されてい
る。詳しくは、異物を収容する収容箱１１の上面に、差
入口３に近い位置を水平部分とし、高く設定されてい
る。また、差入口３から離れるに従って４０度から６０
度の範囲で下向するように傾斜部分が形成されている。
即ち、線材２１は水平方向でみると１対３の比率で、水
平部分と傾斜部分が形成されている。 【００２１】ここで、異物を収容する収容箱１１の上面
に所定の間隔を形成して配設した複数本の線材２１は、
本実施の形態の差入口３から投函された郵便物のみを選
択して前記郵袋５に導く選択手段２０を構成する。 【００２２】なお、本実施の形態の選択手段２０は、水
平部分と傾斜部分とで形成されるものであるが、本発明
を実施する場合には、円弧或いは二次曲線を形成するよ
うにしてもよい。何れにせよ、最も軽量な郵便物である
はがきが自由落下できる程度の傾きを持つ必要がある。 【００２３】図４は本発明の実施の形態であるポスト用
異物収集装置の投函物案内手段を示す側面図である。 【００２４】図１及び図４において、溶接可能なステン
レス製の板材からなるガイド板３５は、一方の端部３
１、即ち、ポスト本体１の差入口３側は、１０〜２０ｍ
ｍ程度直角に折曲され、その基部をポスト本体１の上部
平面にビス止めしている。また、他方の端部３２は９０
度以内の鋭角に繰返し折曲されポスト本体１の差入口３
の反対側の平面に当接し、しかも、その端部３２の先端
はガイド板３５をポスト本体１内で郵便物を郵袋５に誘
導するように弾性を持たせて固定されている。即ち、ガ
イド板３５は、図４に示すように、平板状のものを彎曲
させてポスト本体１内に配設しており、その弾性力によ
り、郵便物を郵袋５に誘導している。折曲された端部３
２は、９０度を越える鈍角に折曲した場合、或いは９０
度程度のクランク状に折曲した場合、図１に示すよう
に、郵袋５との間に郵便物が挟まる可能性がある。それ
を回避する構造としたものである。ガイド板３５の端部
３１と端部３２の間のポスト本体１の内面側には、補助
部材３３が配設されている。補助部材３３はその一端が
ガイド板３５に固着され、他端はポスト本体１の差入口
３の反対側の内面に当接している。そして、補助部材３
３はガイド板３５に対してポスト本体１の差入口３か
ら、棒状のもので外力を加えても、その彎曲状態が容易
に変化しないように補強している。 【００２５】また、ガイド板３５の端部３１と端部３２
の間のポスト本体１の郵袋５側には、差入口３から投函
されたものに衝突して運動エネルギーを低減させる差入
口３より広い幅を有し、略く字状に折曲した規制板３４
を配設している。規制板３４はガイド板３５との間をヒ
ンジで接続されており、自重によって略垂直に吊り下が
っている。そのヒンジ部分では、その前方方向から投函
された郵便物が噛み込まないように、折曲した端部３１
からなるカバー体により保護している。その規制板３４
の自由端である下端は、差入口３側に彎曲されていて、
線材２１の折曲端部から所定の距離離れた位置となって
おり、しかも、線材２１の折曲端部から下方部分との間
にも隙間を形成している。規制板３４の両側端には案内
板３４ａが配設されている。規制板３４の両端に配設し
た案内板３４ａは、差入口３から投函された郵便物をポ
スト本体１の郵袋５側に導いている。なお、この規制板
３４は盗難防止板６の回動に影響を受けない個所に配設
されている。 【００２６】したがって、ポスト本体１の差入口３から
ポスト本体１の内方向に向う所定の質量以上の運動エネ
ルギーを受けると容易に回動し、郵袋５内に導くことが
できる。また、所定の質量以下のもの、例えば、はが
き、手紙等では、規制板３４と線材２１との間に隙間を
形成しており、かつ、規制板３４の自由端は、収容箱１
１の立上前面１０Ａに配設したスペーサ１５によって収
容箱１１と立上前面１０Ａとの間に所定の間隙を設けて
いるから、両者間に案内されて、郵袋５内に導くことが
できる。そして、規制板３４は、盗難防止板６を開放し
た状態でたばこ等を投げ入れたとしても、その質量によ
り、容易に回動せず、しかも、規制板３４と線材２１と
の間に隙間を形成してあるから、下部の隙間を通過し
て、郵便物を除く異物を収容する収容箱１１の底部１０
ａに収容される。 【００２７】ここで、本実施の形態のポスト本体１の差
入口３の上部から差入口３の反対側に位置し、差入口３
から投函された郵便物を郵袋に導く投函物案内手段３０
は、端部３１と端部３２を有するガイド板３５と、ガイ
ド板３５の端部３１と端部３２の間のポスト本体１の側
の面に配設された補助部材３３と、差入口３から投函さ
れたものに衝突し、運動エネルギーを低減させる差入口
３より広い幅を有する規制板３４によって構成されてい
る。 【００２８】このように、本実施の形態におけるポスト
用異物収集装置は、ポスト本体１の差入口３の内側下方
で、かつ、ポスト本体１内の郵袋５の上方に位置し、差
入口３から投函された郵便物のみを選択して郵袋５に導
く選択手段２０と、選択手段２０で選択された差入口３
から投函された郵便物を除く異物を収容する異物収容手
段１０と、少なくとも、揺動自在に配設し、差入口３か
ら投函された運動エネルギーを低減させる差入口３より
広い幅を有し、略く字状に折曲した規制板３４を有し、
差入口３から投函された郵便物を郵袋に導く投函物案内
手段３０とを具備し、選択手段２０は、異物収容手段１
０を構成する収容箱１１の上面及び収容箱１１の規制板
３４側の前面から収容箱１１の底部１０ａまで異物を導
くものである。 【００２９】したがって、図１及び図２に示すように、
異物収容手段１０を構成する収容箱１１の上面及び収容
箱１１の規制板３４側の前面から収容箱１１の底部１０
ａまで異物を導くものであるから、異物の落下の間に、
収容箱１１の上面及び前面ではがき、手紙等の郵便物と
郵便物以外の異物との区別を行うことができ、選択的に
区別する信頼性を高くすることができる。また、簡単な
構造で信頼性の高い郵便物とそれ以外のものとが区分け
することができる。 【００３０】また、上記実施の形態の投函物案内手段３
０は、ガイド板３５のポスト本体１の郵袋５側には、差
入口３から投函されたものに衝突し、運動エネルギーを
低減させる差入口３より広い幅を有する規制板３４を配
設しているから、ポスト本体１の差入口３からポスト本
体１の内方向に向う所定の質量以上の運動エネルギーを
受けると容易に回動し、郵袋５内に導くことができる。
また、差入口３より投函されたはがき等の軽量な郵便物
は、規制板３４に当たり選択手段２０の上を通り、郵袋
５へ落下することができる。重量のある郵便物は、規制
板３４を後方へ反らせて郵袋５へ落下することができ
る。小物の異物は選択手段２０を通して収容箱１１へ落
下し、また、差入口３より投げ込まれた異物は、規制板
３４に当たり、反射し、選択手段２０を通して収容箱１
１へ落下するから、これらの郵便物以外のたばこ等の異
物は収集され、郵袋５側に落下しないので、郵袋５内に
ある郵便物や郵袋自体を燃焼や汚染から守ることができ
る。 【００３１】また、本実施の形態におけるポスト用異物
収集装置は、ポスト本体１の差入口３の内側下方で、か
つ、ポスト本体１内の郵袋５の上方に位置し、差入口３
から投函された郵便物のみを選択して郵袋５に導く選択
手段２０と、選択手段２０で選択された差入口３から投
函された郵便物を除く異物を収容する異物収容手段１０
と、少なくとも、揺動自在に配設し、差入口３から投函
された運動エネルギーを低減させる差入口３より広い幅
を有し、略く字状に折曲した規制板３４を有し、差入口
３から投函された郵便物を郵袋に導く投函物案内手段３
０とを具備し、選択手段２０は、異物収容手段１０を構
成する収容箱１１の上面に、差入口３に近い位置を高
く、差入口３から離れるに従って低く形成し、差入口３
の方向に対して直角に所定の間隔で複数の線材２１を配
設し、規制板３４との間に間隙を形成し、収容箱１１の
立上前面１０Ａとの間にも間隙を形成して収容箱１１の
底部１０ａまで異物を導くものである。 【００３２】したがって、異物収容手段１０を構成する
収容箱１１の上面に、差入口３に近い位置を高く、差入
口３から離れるに従って低く形成し、差入口３の方向に
対して直角に所定の間隔で複数の線材２１を配設し、規
制板３４との間に間隙を形成し、収容箱１１の立上前面
１０Ａとの間にも間隙を形成して収容箱１１の底部１０
ａまで異物を導くものであるから、その落下の間に、は
がき、手紙等の郵便物と郵便物以外の異物との区別を行
うことができ、選択的に区別する信頼性を高くすること
ができる。また、簡単な構造で信頼性の高い郵便物とそ
れ以外のものとを選択手段２０で選択することができ
る。 【００３３】また、上記実施の形態の投函物案内手段３
０は、差入口３から投函されたものに衝突させ、運動エ
ネルギーを低減させる差入口３より広い幅を有する規制
板３４を具備するものであるから、ガイド板３５のポス
ト本体１の郵袋５側には、差入口３から投函されたもの
に衝突し、運動エネルギーを低減させる差入口３より広
い幅を有する規制板３４を配設しているから、ポスト本
体１の差入口３からポスト本体１の内方向に向う所定の
質量以上の運動エネルギーを受けると容易に回動し、郵
袋５内に導くことができる。また、差入口３より投函さ
れたはがき等の軽量な郵便物は、規制板３４に当たり選
択手段２０の上を通り、郵袋５へ落下することができ
る。重量のある郵便物は、規制板３４を後方へ反らせて
郵袋５へ落下することができる。小物の異物は選択手段
２０を通して収容箱１１へ落下し、また、差入口３より
投げ込まれた異物は、規制板３４に当たり、選択手段２
０を通して収容箱１１へ落下するから、これらの郵便物
以外のたばこ等の異物は収集され、郵袋５へ落下しない
ので、郵袋５内にある郵便物や郵袋自体を燃焼や汚染か
ら守ることができる。 【００３４】そして、上記実施の形態の投函物案内手段
３０の規制板３４は、投函物案内手段３０の板状物に軸
支され、揺動自在としたものであり、また、所定の質量
以下のもの、例えば、はがき、手紙等では、規制板３４
と線材２１との間に隙間を形成してあるから、そこか
ら、または、規制板３４の自由端である下端を若干開放
（回動）させて、郵袋５内に導くことができる。更に、
規制板３４は、盗難防止板６を開放した状態でたばこ等
を投げ入れたとしても、その質量により、容易に回動せ
ず、しかも、下部の隙間を通過できないから、所定の間
隔で形成して配設した複数本の線材２１からなる選択手
段２０により、確実に異物収容手段１０によって収容で
きる。そして、規制板３４は差入口３の反対側に回動す
るとき、略く字状に折曲されているから、その開口を大
きくすることができ、定常状態では、規制板３４自由端
から異物収容手段１０に異物を導くことができる。 【００３５】本実施の形態におけるポスト用異物収集装
置の異物収容手段１０は、ポスト本体１側の構成部材の
一端から摺動させて挿着する係合部１４を具備するもの
であるから、異物収容手段１０は、収容箱１１から異物
を捨て、再度、摺動させて挿入することにより、所定の
位置に設定でき、不慣れな集配担当者でも異物収容手段
１０の設定ミスがなくなる。そして、異物収容手段１０
は、係合するだけで取付けが可能となり、捩子止め或い
は他の固着手段を使用する必要がない。 【００３６】本実施の形態におけるポスト用異物収集装
置の投函物案内手段３０は、ポスト本体１の差入口３の
上部から差入口３の反対側に彎曲させて配設した弾性に
富むガイド板３５と、ガイド板３５に対して揺動自在に
配設し、差入口３から投函されたものに衝突し、運動エ
ネルギーを低減させる差入口より広い幅を有し、略く字
状に折曲した規制板３４を具備するものである。 【００３７】したがって、ガイド板３５のポスト本体１
の郵袋５側には、差入口３から投函されたものに衝突
し、運動エネルギーを低減させる差入口３より広い幅を
有する規制板３４を配設しているから、ポスト本体１の
差入口３からポスト本体１の内方向に向う所定の質量以
上の運動エネルギーを受けると容易に回動し、郵袋５内
に導くことができる。また、差入口３より投函されたは
がき等の軽量な郵便物は、規制板３４に当たり選択手段
２０の上を通り、郵袋５へ落下することができる。ま
た、重量のある郵便物は、規制板３４を後方へ反らせて
郵袋５へ落下することができる。小物の異物は選択手段
２０を通して収容箱１１へ落下し、また、差入口３より
投げ込まれた異物は、規制板３４に当たり、選択手段２
０を通して収容箱１１へ落下するから、これらの郵便物
以外のたばこ等の異物は収集され、郵袋５へ落下しない
ので、郵袋５内にある郵便物や郵袋自体を燃焼や汚染か
ら守ることができる。 【００３８】本実施の形態におけるポスト用異物収集装
置の投函物案内手段３０の規制板３４は、両端部に案内
板３４ａを配設したものであるから、郵便物が差入口３
からその左右に投げ込んで投函しても、正確に規制板３
４を後方へ反らせて郵袋５へ落下することができる。 【００３９】本実施の形態におけるポスト用異物収集装
置の投函物案内手段３０のガイド板３５と揺動自在に配
設した規制板３４との接続部は、その差入口３側にカバ
ー体を配設したものであるから、郵便物を差入口３から
投げ込んで投函しても、規制板３４の接続部、即ち、ヒ
ンジに衝突し、そこに食い込んで郵袋５へ落下しなくな
るのを防止できる。 【００４０】ところで、上記実施の形態においては、ポ
スト本体１の規制板３４と盗難防止板６の作動域は、互
いに干渉しないように設定する必要がある。規制板３４
と線材２１との間隙は、最低でもはがき数毎以上の厚さ
分だけは開ける必要がある。例えば、はがき等の軽いも
のは、隙間がないときには規制板３４の下方と選択手段
２０との間に挟まれ、郵袋５に落下しない恐れがある。
また、隙間が大き過ぎると、マッチ、タバコ、ごみを通
過させてしまう恐れがある。 【００４１】上記実施の形態では、全ての構成品の材質
にステンレスを選択したが、本発明を実施する場合に
は、これに限定されるものではない。耐熱性、耐食性、
溶接性、加工性、コスト等を考慮して決定すればよい。 【００４２】上記実施の形態では、規制板３４の幅は、
差入口３よりやや長い程度であったが、これに限定され
るものではない。ポスト本体１に規制板３４を配設した
とき、ポスト本体１の両側面との間には、隙間は無いほ
うがよいが、譬え、存在していたとしても、規制板３４
の両側端の案内板３４ａによって投入されたものは全て
選択手段２０側に導くことができる。 【００４３】上記実施の形態の選択手段２０の線材２１
