造には何ら支障をきたすことなく手動あるいは自動(砥
石頭の上昇動作を利用)で背面カバーを開き状態に保持
でき、その構造も簡潔であり、既存の背面カバーに対し
て僅かな付加工事のみで対処できる。本発明は特にワー
クテーブルあるいはその上に搭載する割出しテーブルが
大きく、奥行きの深い研削盤や大形の研削盤に適用して
