カセット外へ落下するのを防止するために設けられた媒

の開口1aとなっているカセット本体1と、このカセッ
ト本体1の上記開口1aに対し開閉自在な蓋体2とから
なっている。そして、装置本体Tには、これに装着され
た各媒体収容カセットS1 の下端部近傍に繰り出しロー
ラR1 が配設されており、媒体収容カセットS1 内に積
載収容された媒体Mが上記繰り出しローラR1 により繰
り出し口1b(図5)を介し順次矢印B方向に繰り出さ
れ、その繰り出された媒体Mは所定の搬送経路Hに沿っ
て複数の搬送ローラ対(R2 、R3 、R4 等)により搬

し、その係合時には媒体押さえ部材12が上記バネ部材
の付勢力に抗して矢印C方向とは反対方向に回動され、
上記一端部12aの媒体Mへの当接が解除されるように

2aの媒体Mへの当接が解除されるように構成されてい
る。なお、媒体押さえ部材12がバネ部材14により必
要以上に矢印C方向へ回動させられるのを防止するた
め、蓋体2には上記他端部12bと係合するストッパ1

は支持部21に取り付けられた第1のバネ部材24によ
り矢印D方向へ付勢されており、第2の媒体押さえ部材
23は同じく支持部21に取り付けられた第2のバネ部
材25により矢印D方向とは反対方向の矢印E方向へ上
記バネ部材24による付勢力(F1 )よりも大きな付勢
