2. Description of the Related Art In recent years, for example, a method using an electric dust collector has been used as a method for purifying contaminated air in a tunnel on an automobile road. In this method using an electric dust collector, a detour tunnel is formed in the tunnel, an electric dust collector is installed, the contaminated air extracted from the tunnel into the tunnel is purified by the electric dust collector, and then re-introduced into the tunnel. It purifies the polluted air.

[0003] By installing an electric dust collector in a detour tunnel in a tunnel as described above, it is possible to purify contaminated air in the tunnel. However, in the electric dust collector, dust adheres to the electrode portion and the insulator supporting the electrode by the dust collecting process, and therefore, it is necessary to clean the electric dust collector, for example, about once a day.

[0004] When the air in the place where the electric precipitator is installed is dry, it can be cleaned by blowing compressed air on the dirty part. However, in places with high humidity such as in a tunnel, dust adheres firmly to the surface of the insulator or the like due to the moisture, so that cleaning cannot be sufficiently performed only by blowing compressed air.

In the electric precipitator using the water washing method as described above, it is necessary to arrange the washing nozzle 7 at the ceiling of the main body 1 and to provide the discharge passage 8 at the bottom inside the main body 1. Therefore, a certain interval must be provided between the upper and lower ends of the electrode units 4a and 4b and the main body 1. If there is a gap between the electrode units 4a and 4b and the main body 1, a part of the dust-containing air that has flowed into the main body 1 from the outside via the entrance-side damper 6 passes through the above-described gap, and dust is removed. Efficiency is reduced. For this reason, in the related art, an entrance wind shield plate 9 that closes the gap is provided to prevent dust-containing air from flowing into the gap.

However, as in the prior art, the electrode units 4a,
The dust-containing air flowing into the electrode units 4a and 4b can be removed from the upper or lower side of the electrode units 4a and 4b only by providing the inlet wind shield 9 on the front side of the electrode units 4a and 4b and closing the gap with the main body 1. Part of the electrode unit 4
There is a problem that the amount of dust-containing air passing through the insides a and 4b is reduced, and high dust collection efficiency cannot be obtained.

Air shield plates 11 are provided on the upper and lower surfaces of the electrode units 4a and 4b on the air inflow side, respectively, so that the air that has flowed into the electrode units 4a and 4b is immediately removed from the electrode units 4a and 4b from the electrode units 4a and 4b. 1 so as not to blow through. The wind shield plate 11 is configured using, for example, a conductive porous plate. That is, when cleaning the electrode units 4a and 4b, a perforated plate is used so that water sprayed from the cleaning nozzle 7 located outside the wind shield plate 11 is not blocked by the wind shield plate 11.

In the above configuration, when a normal dust collection process is performed, the dust-containing air that has flowed into the main body 1 from the entrance door 2 is further guided by the entrance wind shield plate 9 to form the electrode units 4a and 4b. Flows into. This electrode unit 4
In a and 4b, a charging section is provided on the entrance side, and thereafter a dust collecting section is provided. First, in the charging section, charging processing is performed on the dust particles by ion corona discharge, and the charged dust particles are collected by the dust collecting electrode of the dust collecting section. Then, the air that has been cleaned through the electrode units 4a and 4b is sent out through the damper 6 of the exit door 3.

As described above in detail, according to the present invention, in an electric precipitator in which an electrode unit is installed in an air flow path in a dust collecting unit main body, an upper surface and a lower surface on an air inflow side of the electrode unit are provided. Since the wind shield plate is provided, the dust air that has flowed into the electrode unit is reliably subjected to dust collection processing without falling out to the gap between the main body. Therefore, a very high dust collection efficiency can be obtained. Further, by configuring the wind shield plate 11 with a perforated plate, the electrode unit can be washed with water without being affected by the wind shield plate. Further, by providing a plurality of wind shields around the electrode unit along the flow direction of the air, the dust air that has flowed into the electrode unit does not escape to the gap with the main body, and most of the dust air flows inside the electrode unit. Since it passes, higher dust collection efficiency can be obtained.
