By the way, resin sashes have lower rigidity than metal sashes, so that a metal core is provided inside each frame constituting the frame, and the strength of the vertical frame is particularly high. It has been practiced to attach a metal reinforcing material to the interior surface of the required mat along the longitudinal direction.
In this case, a cover member and an end cap are attached to the reinforcing member to improve the appearance.

In FIGS. 1, 3 and 4, reference numeral 1 denotes a pulling sash made of resin (hereinafter also referred to as a resin sash), and this resin sash 1 is a rectangular frame (sash) to be attached to a frame T of a building. (Frame) 2 and pull-out sliding doors 3a and 3b mounted in the frame body 2. The frame 2
Consists of an upper frame 2a, a lower frame 2b and left and right vertical frames 2c, 2c made of synthetic resin, for example, vinyl chloride, and these frame members preferably have the same cross-sectional shape.

The upper frame 2a, the lower frame 2c and the left and right vertical frames 2
The frame members constituting c and 2c are separated by a partition wall 2p between an inner surface portion (upper surface portion in the lower frame) 2x and an outer surface portion (lower surface portion in the lower frame) 2y in order to impart rigidity and heat insulation. It has a hollow structure having a plurality of, for example, three hollow portions 2z, and its inner surface 2x has, for example, a ridge 4a having an H-shaped cross section.
4b are formed in two rows along the longitudinal direction. The ridges 4a, 4b are rails for guiding and supporting the inner and outer sashes 3a, 3b in the upper frame 2a and the lower frame 2b so as to be movable in the left-right direction. It is preferable that the two rails 4a and 4b composed of the ridges have substantially the same height in order to make the sizes of the inner and outer shojis 3a and 3b the same. In addition, it is preferable that the rail member 15 made of a metal, for example, an extruded member made of an aluminum alloy is attached to the upper end of the ridge portion of the lower frame.

At the indoor end and the outdoor end of the frame material, inward ribs 5, 6 are formed along the longitudinal direction. The inward rib 5 at the outdoor end of the frame member is a screen rail for guiding and supporting a screen door (not shown) in the upper frame 2a and the lower frame 2b so as to be movable in the left-right direction. The frame 2 is attached to the frame T of the building with a fastener such as a screw at a substantially middle portion of the outer surface portion 2y of the frame material in the indoor / outdoor direction with the indoor side inserted into the opening of the building. Outwardly extending ribs 7 are formed along the longitudinal direction of the frame material.

At the lower part of the lower frame 2b, a reinforcing member 8 for supporting the lower part of the lower frame 2b and covering and supporting the outward ribs 7 from the outside is attached by screws 9, and the reinforcing member 8 is attached to the frame T Is fixed to the window stand Ta with a fixing tool such as a screw. The reinforcing member 8 is formed of a material having high rigidity, for example, an extruded member of an aluminum alloy. In order to prevent the lower frame 2b from being deformed by the weight of the shoji 3a, 3b, the lower frame 2b
It is preferable that a core member 10 made of, for example, an extruded aluminum alloy material is fitted into the hollow portion 2z.

In an aluminum sash, the lower frame is generally formed to have a stepped cross section in order to improve drainage. However, in the resin sash 1 of the present embodiment, a frame having the same cross sectional shape is used. Since the material is used, if the lower frame 2b has a stepped cross-sectional shape, the upper frame 2a and the vertical frame 2c also have a stepped cross-sectional shape, making the appearance worse, and the size of the shojis 3a, 3b must be changed. The material is not formed in a stepped cross section, and the ridges 4a, 4b and the inward ribs 5,
The inner surface 2x except 6 is formed substantially flat. In addition,
It is preferable that the inner surface 2x of the frame material is slightly inclined downward to the outside of the room in consideration of drainage at the upper surface of the lower frame 2b.

Upper frame 2a, lower frame 2b and left and right vertical frames 2
The ends 2w are cut at an angle of 45 degrees so that the adjacent ends 2w are butt-joined, and the adjacent ends 2w are butt-welded to improve the airtightness of the joint. A rectangular frame 2 is formed. Since the upper frame 2a, the lower frame 2b, and the left and right vertical frames 2c, 2c have the same cross section, they can be extruded with the same molding die, reducing the manufacturing cost and joining the adjacent end portions 2w. In this case, the bonding area can be increased, and the bonding strength can be improved.

When fixing the end of the reinforcing member 16 with the screw 17, the screw 17 may be screwed through the locking hole 24 of the end cap 18. Thereby, the locking hole 24 of the end cap 18 is locked to the head 17 a of the screw 17,
The end cap 18 does not come off the end of the reinforcement 16. Next, one end of the cover member 19 is inserted into the insertion groove 23 of the one end cap 18, the cover member 19 is bent, and the other end is inserted into the insertion groove 23 of the other end cap 18. 19 may be pressed against the reinforcing member 16 to engage the locking portions 19a, 19a on both sides with the engaging grooves 21, 21 on both sides on the rear surface of the reinforcing member 16. As a result, not only the reinforcing member 16 but also the head 17a of the screw 17 and the hole 20 are formed.
a can be covered and covered by the cover member 19.

In the resin sash 1, a rectangular frame 2 composed of an upper frame 2a, a lower frame 2b and left and right vertical frames 2c, 2c attached to a frame T of a building; 3a and 3b, and the shoji screens 3a and 3b are formed by fitting a glass panel 12 into a rectangular frame 11 composed of an upper frame 11a, a lower frame 11b, and left and right vertical frames 11c and 11d made of synthetic resin. And the vertical frames 11c, 11
d, a reinforcing member 16 is fixed along the longitudinal direction to the indoor side of the combining frame 11d with screws 17 as fixing tools, and end caps 18 are attached to both ends of the reinforcing member 16, and The cap 18 is fixed with a screw 17 for fixing the reinforcing member 16, a cover member 19 is attached to the reinforcing member 16,
Since both ends of the cover member 19 are inserted into the inside of the end cap 18, the number of screws 17 to be used can be reduced, the exposure of the screws 17 and the like can be prevented, and the workability and appearance can be improved.

That is, the end cap 18 is attached to the reinforcing member 16.
A screw 17 used for fixing the reinforcing member 16 is used without using a dedicated screw to attach the reinforcing member 16, and a screw is used to attach the cover member 19 to the reinforcing member 16. Since the portion is engaged with both sides of the back surface of the reinforcing member 16 and both ends are inserted into the end cap 18, the number of screws used can be greatly reduced, the number of mounting steps can be reduced, and the cost can be reduced. Reduction and improvement in installation workability can be achieved. Further, since the reinforcing member 16 and the screw 17 are covered and hidden by the cover member 19 and the screw 17 is not exposed at all on the surface, the appearance is good and the appearance can be improved.

In the above-described embodiment, a resin sash of two-piece shoji is shown. However, the present invention can be applied to a plurality of resin sashes of four-piece shoji, for example, as shown in FIG. A reinforcing member 16 is attached to the indoor side of the door frame 11g of the shoji. The reinforcing member may be attached to another vertical frame that does not hinder opening and closing of the shoji. The reinforcing material may be used as a handle (handle) for opening and closing the shoji. In the embodiment, the locking hole 2 of the end cap 18 is used.
4 and the head 17a of the screw 17 is engaged with the end cap 1
8 is fixed, the head cap 17a of the screw 17 may be fastened to the peripheral edge of the locking hole 24 to fix the end cap 18.
