2. Description of the Related Art A conventional dishwasher / dryer will be described below. In FIG. 8, after storing a tableware basket 3 containing tableware 1 and small articles 2 such as a spoon knife in a predetermined place, a detergent is added and the operation is started. First, a predetermined amount of cleaning water 5 is supplied to the cleaning tank 6 by the operation of the water supply valve 4, and then the cleaning water 5 pressurized by the cleaning pump 7 is injected from the cleaning nozzle 8 together with the detergent. Thus, the main washing step is performed. In the main washing process, the heating unit 9 provided in the washing tank 6 is energized to heat the washing water 5 to a predetermined temperature.

In this conventional dishwasher / dryer, since the heating unit 9 is located in the washing tank 6, the drying step is carried out in a state where the resin tableware and the like fall off from the tableware basket 3 and come into contact with the heating unit 9. When the heating unit 9 enters, the tableware 1 is unraveled by the empty baking of the heating unit 9, or there is a problem that the burner comes into contact with the heating unit immediately after the drying step. In order to solve this problem, there is a type in which a flush pipe brazed with a sheathed heater is used as a part of the washing water circulation channel. However, in this heating unit, drying had to be performed in another heating unit, which increased the cost. Also, because the heating unit is thicker and requires more heater space,
There was a problem that tableware storage space became narrow. Further, since the flowing water pipe is heated only at the portion where the sheathed heater is brazed, there is a problem that the heater capacity cannot be increased and the cleaning time becomes longer. Further, in the conventional dishwasher / dryer, there is a problem that the temperature in the washing tank in the temperature control region during the washing process has a large ripple and the washing performance is poor.

In the above construction, the heating unit can be provided outside the washing tank by making the flowing water pipe of the heating unit a part of the circulation channel of the washing water. Therefore, even if the resin tableware does not come into contact with the heating unit even if it is dropped from the tableware basket, even if the heating unit is baked in a drying step or the like, the tableware is melted or the heating unit is in contact with and burns. Such problems can be prevented. In addition, since the radiator of the heating unit is provided at an arbitrary position of the ventilation duct, the radiator can be used as a heating unit for drying, thereby simplifying the structure. Further, the heating element, the water pipe and the radiator are connected to the water pipe.
The radiator is approximately parallel to the direction in which the flowing water flows.
And the heating element is connected to the flowing water pipe.
The water pipe and the radiator are substantially parallel to a direction in which water flows.
The heating unit can be reduced in thickness by being located between and formed on a substantially flat surface, and can be incorporated into a dead space such as the rear surface of the cleaning tank. Therefore, space saving of the heating unit can be achieved, and the capacity of tableware can be increased.
