Abstract
【課題】無線充電機能を有する電子腕時計を提供する。
【解決手段】電子腕時計100は、文字盤20と、文字盤の両端にそれぞれ連接されている2つのバンド部31,32と、電子腕時計に給電するための充電式電池40と、少なくとも一方のバンド部の中に設けられ、且つ充電式電池に電気的に接続されている無線充電モジュール50であって、ワイヤレス給電技術を介して外部エネルギーを受信することによって充電式電池を充電するための無線充電モジュールとを備えている。

【解決手段】電子腕時計100は、文字盤20と、文字盤の両端にそれぞれ連接されている2つのバンド部31,32と、電子腕時計に給電するための充電式電池40と、少なくとも一方のバンド部の中に設けられ、且つ充電式電池に電気的に接続されている無線充電モジュール50であって、ワイヤレス給電技術を介して外部エネルギーを受信することによって充電式電池を充電するための無線充電モジュールとを備えている。

Description
本考案は、電子腕時計に関し、特に無線充電機能を有する電子腕時計に関する。
情報技術の発展に伴い、コンパクトで軽く、且つ機能に優れたファッション性の高い消費物品は、近年、益々消費者の人気を得ている。例えば腕時計としては、複数の機能を備えた腕時計が求められている。これにより、様々な多機能電子腕時計が現在開発されている。例えば、電子手帳、GPS、及びMP3プレーヤ等の機能を統合した腕時計である。
しかし、機能の多様化に伴い、電子腕時計の消費電力も増えており、電子腕時計自体の電池のみで上記各種の機能モジュールの電気量に対する要求を根本的に満足することはできない。そこで、文字盤の中に充電式電池が設けられた電子腕時計が製造されたが、充電する際、最初に、一般的に電子腕時計の蓋を開けて前記充電式電池を取り出して、それを充電器内にセットして充電する。また、専用の充電器コネクタに直接に挿入して充電するような充電式電池を有する電子腕時計も存在するが、この電子腕時計は、文字盤に対して貫通孔を設けなければならない。従って、前記電子腕時計を如何にシールして防水防塵するかが問題である。また、電子腕時計の文字盤に対して充電式電池を内蔵する及び/又は充電用アクセサリーを設けることによって、電子腕時計の電池の容量を増加させて、使用時間を延長させることができるが、これでは文字盤全体のサイズが大きくなり、美観を損なう。
従って、電子腕時計のコンパクトな構造及び美観を確保することを前提として、如何に電子腕時計に充電式電池を設け、且つ充電ステップを簡素化した上で十分な電力を獲得することが、現在の時計業界の課題である。
本考案の目的は、上記の問題点を考慮してなされたものであり、無線充電機能を有する電子腕時計を提供することである。
上記の目的を達成するために、本考案に係る電子腕時計は、文字盤と、前記文字盤の両端にそれぞれ連接されている2つのバンド部と、前記電子腕時計に給電するための充電式電池と、少なくとも一方のバンド部の中に設けられ、且つ前記充電式電池に電気的に接続されている無線充電モジュールであって、ワイヤレス給電技術を介して外部エネルギーを受信することによつて前記充電式電池を充電するための前記無線充電モジュールとを備えている。
従来の技術と異なり、本考案は、湾曲可能な充電式薄膜電池及び無線充電モジュールを電子腕時計のバンド部に設けることによって、電子腕時計の電池容量を増加させた上で充電のステップを簡素化できるとともに、電子腕時計の外観に影響を与えず、消費者の要求を満足させることができる。
図1に表わすように、本考案における電子腕時計100は、文字盤20とバンド部31、32とを備えている。文字盤20は、ハウジング21とハウジング21の上面に設けられた表示部22とを備えている。又はウジング21は、ステンレス又はプラスチック等の材料から作られている。
バンド部31及びバンド部32は、文字盤20の両端にそれぞれ連接されて、電子腕時計100をユーザーの腕に装着するために用いられる。
また、本実施形態では、電子腕時計100は、充電式電池40をさらに備えている。充電式電池40が、電子腕時計100の各機能モジュールに給電する。本実施形態では、充電式電池40は、湾曲可能な薄膜電池であり、且つバンド部32の内部に設けられている。なお、他の実施形態では、充電式電池40をハウジング21の内部に設けることもできる。
また、本実施形態では、電子腕時計100は、無線充電モジュール50をさらに備えている。無線充電モジュール50は、バンド部32の内部に設けられ、且つ充電式電池40に電気的に接続されて、ワイヤレス給電技術を介して外部エネルギーを受信することによって、充電式電池40を充電することができる。本実施形態では、前記ワイヤレス給電技術は、電磁波エネルギーをアンテナ等を介して送受信する原理を利用するものである。具体的には、無線充電モジュール50は、無線電気エネルギーを受信できるコイルであり、外部充電器(図示しない)に設けられた無線電気エネルギー発送コイルによって送信された電磁波エネルギーを受信して、受信された電磁波エネルギーを充電電流に変換することによって充電式電池40を充電する。
図2に表わすように、文字盤20は、ハウジング21の内部に設けられた制御チップ(コア部品)23と、複数の機能チップ24とを備えている。機能チップ24としては、MP3機能チップやGPS機能チップ等を挙げることができる。
表示部22は、充電式電池40、制御チップ23、及び各種の機能チップ24に電気的に接続されており、時間、電池の余剰電力、及び他の各種情報を表示するために用いられる。本実施形態では、表示部22に、液晶表示装置及び有機エレクトロルミネッセンス表示装置等のフラットパネルディスプレイ又は電子ペーパーディスプレイ等を採用することができる。
本考案における電子腕時計は、バンド部31又は32に湾曲可能な充電式薄膜電池及び無線充電モジュールを設けることによって、電子腕時計の電池容量を増加させて、充電のステップを簡素化するとともに、電子腕時計の外観に影響を与えず、消費者の要求を満足させることができる。
以上、本考案の好適な実施形態について詳細に説明したが、本考案は前記実施形態に限定されるものではなく、本考案の範囲内で種々の変形又は修正が可能であり、該変形又は修正も、本考案の特許請求の範囲内に含まれるものであることは言うまでもない。

Claims (4)
- 文字盤と、前記文字盤の両端にそれぞれ連接されている2つのバンド部とを備えている電子腕時計であって、
前記電子腕時計に給電するための充電式電池と、少なくとも一方のバンド部の中に設けられ、且つ前記充電式電池に電気的に接続されている無線充電モジュールであって、ワイヤレス給電技術を介して外部エネルギーを受信することによつて前記充電式電池を充電するための前記無線充電モジュールと、
をさらに備えていることを特徴とする電子腕時計。 - 前記無線充電モジュールは、無線電気エネルギーを受信できるコイルであり、外部充電器に設けられた無線電気エネルギー発送コイルによって送信された電磁波エネルギーを受信して、前記無線電気エネルギー発送コイルによって送信された前記電磁波エネルギーを充電電流に変換して前記充電式電池を充電することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の電子腕時計。
- 前記充電式電池は、湾曲可能な薄膜電池であり、且つ前記バンド部の中に設けられていることを特徴とする請求項2に記載の電子腕時計。
- 前記文字盤は、ハウジングと、前記ハウジングの上面に設けられた表示部と、前記ハウジングの内部に設けられた制御チップと、前記ハウジングの内部に設けられた複数の機能チップと、を備えており、
前記表示部は、前記充電式電池、前記制御チップ、及び各種の機能チップに電気的に接続されて、時間及び電池の余剰電力を表示することを特徴とする請求項2又は3に記載の電子腕時計。
