Description

The present invention relates to a wheelchair for widely increasing indoor and outdoor freedom for people who have obstacles in walking and who need a caregiver or accompanying person.

When I go to the restroom, such as outdoors, I feel very burdensome to move the restroom where I can't. In addition, there was a problem of getting tired when sitting in the same posture for some time. The present invention provides a compact wheelchair having both a toilet and a bed so as to solve such problems and perform a wide range of actions.

For those who use wheelchairs, the biggest problem when going out is the toilet. We want to make it easy for people with disabilities to go to the toilet without overdoing it, and to reduce the burden on caregivers and attendants and to facilitate toilet assistance.

In addition, it is very painful for people with disabilities to keep the same posture in a wheelchair for a long time. When you feel tired, you need to lie down and take a break to rest your body and relieve fatigue.

Wheelchairs that are normally used have wheels on the outside of the seat so that people with healthy upper body can move on their own. However, the width of wheelchairs is widened, and some of them are not necessarily suitable for use in facilities where many people gather or in relatively small places.

The wheelchair was devised so that the toilet can be used without standing for those who have difficulty standing and moving to the toilet or those who feel burdened. For this purpose, an opening is provided in the center of the wheelchair pedestal so that the normal pedestal and the toilet pedestal can be interchanged.

Guide rails are placed on both sides under the wheelchair seat so that the normal base and the toilet base can be interchanged along the guide rail. When using the toilet, pull out the regular pedestal from the back of the wheelchair from under the pedestal, and insert the toilet pedestal from the back of the wheelchair. When the toilet is finished, the toilet pedestal is pulled back and replaced with the regular pedestal. Omaru attached to the toilet pedestal can be covered with an Omar plastic bag with rubber on top. After using the toilet, there is a plastic bag for Omar so the Omar will not get dirty.

When the wheelchair is in the shape of a bed, for the sake of stability, unfold and extend the support from the head and legs of the back of the wheelchair. You can take a wheelchair in bed and lie down and rest. The wheelchair seat and backrest can be prevented from falling.

In order to reduce the width of the wheelchair, attach a small wheel to the lower part of the inner leg of the wheelchair. As a result, it is not necessary to attach large wheels protruding from the wheelchair on both sides of the wheelchair, and the wheels can be made compact. The support for stabilizing the bed shape is also stored inside so that it does not protrude from both sides of the wheelchair. In this way, the width of the wheelchair can be made compact and convenient when moving.

The wheelchair according to the present invention does not need to be forced to change from a wheelchair when a person with a physical disability goes to the toilet, and the burden is reduced. When you get tired from the same posture for a long time, you can lie down and take a break. The wheelchair according to the present invention does not have a large wheel on the side, so it can be used more widely than conventional wheelchairs even in places where there are many people and relatively small places and vehicles. The wheelchair of the present invention allows caregivers and attendants to go out together for a long time with less burden than conventional wheelchairs.
