Description
The present invention relates to a lighting device. In particular, the present invention relates to a lighting device using a light emitting diode (LED) as a light emitting element.
In recent years, LEDs have been used for illumination and display as a light source that has a longer life and less heat generation than incandescent bulbs and fluorescent lamps. For example,
However, in the above-described conventional lighting device, the pipe for flowing the cooling water is separate from the base plate, and it is necessary to fix the pipe to the base plate with a mounting member and a nut that are bent metal plates. For this reason, the base plate and the tube cannot be brought into close contact with each other, and there is a limit to the improvement of heat transfer between them. In addition, since it takes time to assemble the tube to the base plate, the manufacturing cost increases.
Furthermore, in the conventional lighting device, in order to prevent the adverse effect on the LED such as moisture, the space in the housing in which the LED is accommodated is hermetically sealed, but for that purpose, silicone resin or a sealing material is required and the number of parts is reduced. To increase. Further, if the processing and assembly accuracy is low, sufficient airtightness cannot be maintained, and the LED cannot be protected from moisture and oxidation for a long period of time. In addition, it is conceivable to form a light-transmitting cover using an acrylic resin that is less expensive and lighter than glass, and the acrylic resin cannot completely block moisture and other gases. Can not be used when airtightness is required.
The present invention is for solving the problems of the prior art as described above, and its main purpose is a base in which a light emitting module having a light emitting element such as an LED is arranged in close contact with one side and a coolant such as cooling water. Lighting that can improve the efficiency of heat transfer to and from the tube that flows the light, and can reliably protect light emitting elements such as LEDs from moisture and oxidation over a long period of time without requiring high processing and assembly accuracy Is to provide a device.
In order to solve the above problems, according to the present invention, there is provided a lighting device including a light emitting module having a thin plate-like metal conductor circuit configuration having a plurality of light emitting elements, and a housing for housing the light emitting module, In order to flow a refrigerant, having a highly heat conductive metallic base having one surface on which the light emitting module is closely disposed and a translucent cover attached to the base so as to be opposed to the light emitting module Is provided integrally with the base, and a gas adjusted so as not to cause condensation in the housing circulates in the housing in a use state. Is done. Here, “providing the tube for flowing the coolant integrally with the base” means that the tube and the base are integrally formed by extrusion molding or the like, and the tube and the base are filled with heat conductive silicone or the like. The aspect which eliminated the clearance gap between is meant. According to such a structure, there is no gap between the base and the pipe through which the refrigerant flows, greatly improving the heat transfer efficiency between them, and the heat transferred from the light emitting element of the light emitting module to the base. Can be quickly removed to greatly improve the heat dissipation from the light emitting element. In particular, when the pipe for flowing the refrigerant and the base are integrally formed by extrusion or the like, it is not necessary to assemble the pipe for flowing the refrigerant to the base, so that the manufacturing cost can be reduced in combination with the reduction in the number of parts. . In addition, the gas adjusted so as not to cause condensation in the housing is circulated in the housing in the use state, so that moisture can enter the housing for a long time without requiring high processing and assembly accuracy. Or preventing deterioration of the light emitting element in the housing due to oxidation. In particular, if the pressure in the housing is higher than the ambient pressure outside the housing in use, moisture may be generated even if the translucent cover is made of an acrylic resin that cannot completely prevent gas penetration. Intrusion into the housing can be reliably prevented.
The refrigerant may be a liquid such as a cooled gas or cooling water. Also preferably, the gas can be cold air or an inert gas (eg, nitrogen or argon).
As described above, in the lighting device according to the present invention, since the pipe for flowing the refrigerant is integrally provided on the base having the one surface on which the light emitting module is closely arranged, there is a gap between the base and the pipe for flowing the refrigerant. The heat transfer efficiency between them can be greatly improved, and the heat transferred from the light emitting element of the light emitting module to the base can be quickly removed to greatly improve the heat radiation from the light emitting element. . In particular, when the pipe for flowing the refrigerant and the base are integrally formed by extrusion or the like, it is not necessary to assemble the pipe for flowing the refrigerant to the base, so that the manufacturing cost can be reduced in combination with the reduction in the number of parts. . Further, by allowing the gas adjusted so as not to cause dew condensation in the housing to flow in the housing in the use state, moisture can enter the housing over a long period of time without requiring high processing and assembly accuracy. It is possible to prevent the deterioration of the light emitting element in the housing due to oxidation.
Hereinafter, embodiments of the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings.
1 is an upper perspective view showing an embodiment of a lighting device according to the present invention, FIG. 2 is a lower perspective view, and FIG. 3 is a sectional view taken along line III-III in FIG. For convenience of explanation, the side with the light emitting surface is called the upper side, and the opposite side is called the lower side.
As shown in the figure, the
The
The
The
A pair of
As is well shown in the cross-sectional view of FIG. 3, a
Further, as well shown in FIG. 4 showing the lower surface side of the base 10 before assembling, the bottom wall of the
A pair of
Thereby, in use, the inert gas and dry air always flow in the
Further, by adjusting the pressure in the
An example of an illumination system using two
Furthermore, the illumination system 150 </ b> A has a
The

The

It goes without saying that those skilled in the art can make various modifications or changes without departing from the technical idea of the present invention defined by the claims. For example, in the above embodiment, the lighting device 1 (or the housing 90) has a long, generally rectangular shape in plan view, but may be substantially square in the plan view. In addition, the cross-sectional shape of the pipe through which the refrigerant is integrally formed with the base is not limited to a circle, but may be other shapes such as a rectangle.
The lighting device of the present invention can be used for indoor / outdoor general lighting, decorative lighting, etc., and particularly suitable for use in humid places where high output lighting is required, such as in plant cultivation factories. ing.
