In the configuration in which the spring pin b and the terminal c are brought into surface contact with each other, the position of the contact portion between the spring pin b and the terminal c when the battery pack C is mounted on the telephone body B is set. Due to the high accuracy, when a shock is applied to the telephone body B or the battery pack C, the spring pin b and the terminal c are momentarily separated from each other, and the electrical connection is cut off. There was an inconvenience to do.

On the other hand, a personal handy phone (PHS) H shown in FIG. 9 includes a main body I, a lid J, and a battery pack K. A connector k provided on the battery pack K via a harness h is connected to the main body. The main body I and the battery pack K are electrically connected by being fitted to the connector i provided in I. In such a configuration, the instantaneous interruption as described above does not occur.

However, for example, in a digital mobile phone, continuous talk time is about 120 minutes, so when considering use for business use, it is necessary to frequently replace the battery pack. An environment in which the connectors i and k of H are frequently attached and detached is not assumed, and since the number of times of attachment / detachment is only about 30 times, the connector cannot be adopted as a connection structure in a mobile phone in terms of durability.

The floating connector 20
When the male connector 21 and the female connector 22 are fitted with each other, a distance between the convex portion 21a of the connector block 21A of the male connector 21 and the concave portion 22a of the connector block 22A of the female connector 22 is set. Although a clearance is formed and the connector is extremely small (about ± 0.5 mm), the male connector 21 and the female connector 22 are configured to be relatively movable in three directions of front and rear, left and right, and up and down. The contact 21B of the female connector 21 and the contact 21B of the female connector 22 are always in contact with each other.

For this reason, in the portable telephone 1 having the above-described configuration, when vibration is applied from the outside, the relative movement between the telephone main body 2 and the battery pack 10 is absorbed by the floating connector 20, and the vibration is caused by the vibration. The instantaneous disconnection of the electrical connection between the telephone body 2 and the battery pack 10 is prevented beforehand.

In the portable telephone 1 having the above-described configuration,
Since the telephone body 2 and the battery pack 10 are electrically connected using the floating type connector 20 which is much more durable than the connector used for the personal handy phone, the battery pack 10 is frequently used. The durability of the floating connector 20 does not matter even if the usage mode is changed to a new one.

In the portable telephone 1 having the above-described configuration,
Since the female connector 22 is fixed to the casing 11 of the battery pack 10, the work of attaching and detaching the male connector 21 and the female connector 22, ie, the telephone body, is different from the conventional configuration in which the connector is attached to the battery pack via a harness. The work of attaching and detaching the battery pack 10 to and from the battery pack 2 becomes easy.

In the portable telephone 1 having the above-described configuration,
The female connector from the casing 11 of the battery pack 10
Since the protrusions 2 do not protrude, not only is the battery pack 10 easy to carry, but also the inconvenience of inadvertent disconnection of the wiring connecting the battery cell 12 and the female connector 22 can be prevented.

Further, in the portable telephone 1 having the above-described configuration, the cover 3 constituting the external appearance together with the telephone main body 2 is formed separately from the battery pack 10, so that the design is different, such as the color variation of the external appearance. Even when there is, there is no need to change the specifications of the battery pack 10, and therefore, the battery pack 10 can be standardized.

(A) According to the present invention, the contact contact portion is formed of a second connector block having a convex shape and a first connector block having a concave shape even when an impact is transmitted indirectly through the lid from the outside.
Since the clearance between the battery pack and the connector block can only move, the clearance between the main body and the battery pack as in the conventional example can be reduced, and instantaneous disconnection of the electrical connection can be prevented. In the present invention, a second connector block having a convex shape protrudes in the battery chamber in a direction in which the battery pack is mounted in the battery chamber, and the battery pack is fitted with the battery pack fitted to the communication device main body. , Convex second
The first connector block having a concave shape to be fitted to the connector block is provided so as not to protrude from the casing of the battery pack. Therefore, the battery pack can be mounted in the battery chamber by an easy mounting operation of simply dropping the battery pack straight into the battery chamber, and a structure capable of preventing instantaneous interruption of electrical connection can be realized. Therefore, the mounting operation is easier than the conventional example in which one of the battery packs is used as a fulcrum and the other is rotated. (B) Further, the first contact of the battery pack is pushed by the elasticity of the second contact on the battery chamber side in a direction intersecting with the battery pack mounting direction, so that the battery pack is pushed to one side in the battery chamber. The battery pack is securely held in the battery compartment. As a result, rattling due to the clearance between the connectors is also suppressed, so that the effect of preventing electrical instantaneous interruption is further exhibited. Also, since the battery pack can be securely stored in the battery compartment, the battery pack does not jump out of the battery compartment, so that the lid for covering the battery compartment can be easily mounted. (C) Further, since the female connector is provided at the short edge of the battery pack, the mounting efficiency occupied by the battery cells having a rectangular parallelepiped shape in the battery pack is usually compared. It is higher at the short side edge than at the long side edge. In other words, there is an effect that the dead space in the battery pack can be reduced.
