と、上記ベース体に対し回動して開閉自在に該ベース体

態の蓋体とベース体との間に上記回路部の面を接触子の
方に向けて配した後、該蓋体を閉状態とすることによ
り、上記カードの回路部の接点と接触子とが電気的に接
続される表面接点をもつカード用コネクタにおいて、ベ
ース体と蓋体の間に板状の保護部材を設け、該保護部材
は少なくとも接触子の接触部に対応する位置に板厚方向
に貫通せる溝部及びもしくは窓部が形成されていると共
に蓋体の開閉に伴い第一の位置と第二の位置との間を移
動可能になっており、第一の位置は蓋体の開状態時に接
触部が上記溝部及びもしくは窓部内に没し、第二の位置
は蓋体の閉状態時で接触部が溝部及びもしくは窓部から
