Abstract

【課題】反射片は表面に夜光塗料などを塗布し、その表面に文字や図形などを印刷して夕暮時や暗闇の中でも学童の安全性を保持しながら、商品イメージをアピールできる。
【解決手段】背負帯（１８）を有した背板（１３）とその前側に位置する中板（１５）との間の底部（１４）および両大マチ部（１６，１６）を夫々底板および両側面板で連結して上方を開口した収容部（１２）を有するランドセル本体（１１）と、前記背板（１３）の上端に基端部を縫着した被い蓋（２９）とからなるランドセル（１０）において、表面に夜光塗料を塗布した反射夜光シート（７０）を補強芯（７５）の表面に接着し、該反射夜光シートの表面に文字や図形など（７３）を印刷してなる反射片（７０，７０ａ）をランドセルの大マチ部（１６）や被い蓋（２９）の表面に取付けてある。

【考案の属する技術分野】
本考案は、反射テープの反射光を利用し、暗闇の中でも商品イメージをアピールすると共に、交通事故から学童を守る安全性を有するランドセルの改良に関するものである。

【従来の技術】
従来、ランドセルを背負って登下校する学童を交通事故から守るため、ランドセルの側面部分や被せ蓋の表面に、自動車や自転車のライトに反射する反射材が取付けられたものが複数存在している。特に、冬季は日が暮れるのが早いため薄暗くなってから下校することが多く、薄暗くなる時間帯は自動車を運転する運転者にとっても非常に歩行者が見えにくいことから、ランドセルに取付ける反射材はできるだけ大きいものが望ましい。

反射材は、テープ状又は布製の薄い部材で形成して表面が反射機能を有し、裏面には必要に応じて接着面を設けたものが使用されており、該反射材の接着面がランドセルの側面部分や被い蓋の表面部分に貼付けて使用されている。しかし、これらの反射材は経年変化によって粘着力が劣化して剥がれたり、子供のいたずらなどで剥がされてしまうことが多く、長期間使用することは困難であった。

そこで、図９に示すごとく、ランドセル５０の主収容部５１の前側に設けた小さな第２の収容部５２や第３の収容部５３を締付けてランドセルの型崩れ防止用に取付ける締付けバンド５５の表面部分に、ランドセルの側面マチ部５４に位置させて該締付けバンドの表面部分に反射板５６を縫着して取付けたものが知られている（例えば、特許文献１参照）。

さらに、図１０，１１図に示すように、ランドセルの側面マチ部分に位置する他の締付けバンド６０に取付けた反射板５６ａが剥がれるのを防止するため、帯状の芯部材６１と表地６５との間に反射板５６ａを挟んで縫着し、該表地６５に適宜形状をした開口部６６を一定又は任意間隔ごとに複数設けてある。また、表地６５の上下両端を切り欠いて設けた切欠部６７から背景に位置する反射板５６ａを露出させるように形成したものが知られている（例えば、特許文献２参照）。

【考案が解決しようとする課題】
前述のように、ランドセルの側面マチ部５４に配設された締付けバンド５５、６０に取付けられた反射板５６，５６ａは、該締付けバンドの幅が狭いこと、表地６５に設けた開口部６６または切欠部６７から露出する反射板の露出面積が少なくて目立たないなどの問題点を有していた。

また、ランドセルの側面マチ部５４に位置する反射板５６，５６ａは、締付けバンド５５，６０に縫着してあり、該締付けバンドは第２の収容部５３の前面部分まで長く形成してあるため、高価な反射板の使用量が多くなってコストが上昇するという欠点があった。その上、締付けバンドの巾が略一定に定まっているため、該締付けバンドの製作時に反射板も同時に縫着するので、該締付けバンドに装着する反射板をデザイン的に多様に変化させることが困難であった。

そこで本考案は、締付けバンドと別体にしてランドセルの大マチ部に取付けることにより、反射材のデザインを多岐に変化できるようにし、また、反射材は表面に夜光塗料などを塗布し、その表面に文字や図形などを印刷して夕暮時や暗闇の中でも学童の安全性を保持しながら、商品イメージをアピールするランドセルを提供することを目的とする。

【課題を解決するための手段】
上記課題を解決するための手段として、請求項１の考案は、背負帯１８を有した背板１３とその前側に位置する中板１５との間の底部１４および両大マチ部１６，１６を夫々底板および両側面板で連結して上方を開口した収容部１２を有するランドセル本体１１と、前記背板１３の上端に基端部を縫着した被い蓋２９とからなるランドセル１０において、方形をした表地３２の略中央部長手方向に設けた窓部３３の下側に平坦部３４を形成し、前記窓部３３と同形に形成した凸部３７を有する芯地３６の表面に反射シート３８を接着して前記表地の窓部３３に裏側から合致させて一体的に縫着して設けた反射片３１を前記大マチ部に取付けてなることを特徴とする。

【考案の実施の形態】
本考案に係る実施の形態を図面に基づいて説明すると、図１はランドセルの被い蓋を開いて一部省略した状態の斜視図、図２は反射片を分離して一部破断した正面図、図３は反射片の正面図、図４は反射片の要部拡大断面図である。ランドセル１０は、皮革または合成皮革などで形成したランドセル本体１１と背板１３に設けた背負帯１８と被い蓋２９とで構成してある。

ランドセル本体１１は、教科書やノートや筆箱などを収納する収容部１２と、その他の学習用具などを入れる小さな第２の収容部２０と、該第２の収容部２０の前面に上部にジッパー２７を装着して開閉可能に形成した小物入部２５を設けてある。

収容部１２は、学童の背中に面して位置する背板１３と、その前方に位置する中板１５との間の底部および両大マチ部１６を、底板１４及び両側面板で連結して四方に壁面部を設け、上方に開口部を有してある。

背板１３は、不織布に合成樹脂材を含浸させて硬化したものや、ボール紙に合成樹脂材を含浸させて硬化したもの、或いは、合成樹脂板で形成した芯板（図示せず）を装着してある。芯板の背面側には、発泡性合成樹脂材で形成したクッション板（図示せず）と、皮革または合成皮革などからなる表地（図示せず）を接着して形成し、前記芯板の内側には合成繊維材などで形成した裏地（図示せず）を接着し、前記収容部１２の上縁部分を細巾の帯片１７で包み込んで縫着して補強し、この背板１３の背面側の上部中央に背負帯１８の上部を連結してある。

第２の収容部２０は、前記中板１５と前板２１との間を細巾の底板部と両側板部とを一体または別体からなる幅板２２で連結し、前記中板１５及び前板２１には、前記芯板と同様に不織布に合成樹脂材を含浸させて硬化させたものや、ボール紙に合成樹脂材を含浸させて硬化させたもの、あるいは、合成樹脂板などで形成した芯板（図示せず）の外側に皮革または合成皮革などからなる表地（図示せず）を接着し、芯板の内側に合成繊維材などで形成した裏地（図示せず）をそれぞれ接着してある。

図１〜４に示すように、反射片３１は、ランドセル本体１１の大マチ部１６の上方に取付けてあるが、締付けバンド５５とは別体に設けてあるので、その取付け位置はデザインに応じて調整可能である。皮革または合成皮革などでやや幅広に形成した表地３２の略中央部長手方向に横長の窓部３３を形成し、該窓部の下方にやや幅広の平坦部３４を設けてある。前記窓部３３は、縦５〜１５ｍｍ、好ましくは１０ｍｍ程度で、横方向は大マチ部の長さ、例えば、７０〜９０ｍｍ、好ましくは８０ｍｍ位の長さの方形に形成してある。芯地３６の略中央部長手方向に、前記表地３２に設けた窓部３３と略同形に形成した凸部３７を該芯地３６と一体または別体に設け、該凸部を有する芯地３６の表面全体若しくは凸部３７の表面部分を反射シート３８で覆って形成してある。

表面に反射シート３８を接着した芯地３６を表地３２の裏面に接合し、該表地３２の上下両端に設けた折返片３４ａ，３４ａを芯地３６の裏側に折り返して縫着して反射片３１を形成してある。表地３２と芯地３６は、前記縫着の他、接着剤を塗布して縫着しても良い。ランドセル１０への取付けは反射片３１の両側端を大マチ部１６の両側部分にそれぞれ縫着して取付けてある。この場合、締付けバンドとは別体であるので、該反射片３１の取り付け位置を上下に調整して取り付けることが出来る。

芯地３６は、表面を反射シート３８で覆われた凸部３７ａを前記表地３２の窓部３３に裏側から係合させ、該凸部３７ａの表面部分と表地３２の表面部分とを略同一面になるようにし、反射シート３８の反射面積を細長くして広い面積に形成してある。また、窓部３３に裏側から凸部３７ａを係合させたことにより窓部３３の内縁に段部ができるのを防止し、窓部３３の内縁に異物がひっかかって窓部３３が破れるのを防止している。

反射シート３８は、合成樹脂フィルムまたは布材などで形成し、表面に光再帰反射性を有する反射物質を塗布して任意大きさに切断可能に形成した公知のもので、例えば、日本カーバイト工業株式会社製の「ニッカライト」やユニチカスパークライト株式会社製の反射シート（ユニチカスパークライト♯９０１）などを使用しているがこれに限るものではない。

図７、８において、表面に夜光塗料を塗布して形成した反射夜光シート７３の裏面に補強芯７５を接着した第３及び第４の反射片の表面に、ランドセル所有者の名前や、商品のブランド名などの文字・図形等７３を印刷してあるので、夕暮時や暗闇の中でもランドセルを背負って歩行中の学童の存在を車輌の運転手は確認しやすいという利点がある。

以下、本発明に係る実施形態の作用について説明すると、ランドセル１０の大マチ部１６に略水平方向に取付ける反射片３１は、表面に反射シート３８を接着した芯地３６の凸部３７を表地３２の裏側から窓部３３に嵌合し、該窓部の周縁と、表地の上下端部を縫着補強して形成してある。

【考案の効果】
本考案に係るランドセルは、ランドセル本体の大マチ部に取付けた反射片の反射シートを表地の窓部に裏側から合致させて縫着して設けたことにより、反射シートの脱落を防止できる。また、表地に設けた大きな窓部から反射シートを露出させることにより反射面積が大きくて見やすいので、夕方の薄暗い下校時における児童の交通事故を防止して安全性を高めることができる。さらに、窓部の下方に設けた平坦部にフック部を取付けたり、名札を吊るすことができるので、反射片のバリエーションを多様に変化させることができる。
