Abstract

【解決手段】本考案は底の浅い半球状の容器と透明カバーの中に自由に転がる鋼球があって、この半球状の透過型容器背面には最深部を中心とする同心円状の色分けされたリングが印刷されており、グリーン面に置かれた本考案品の鋼球がどのリング領域で静止するかによって、グリーンの傾き角及び方位を精確に読むことが出来る。

本考案は目測では判別しにくい僅かな傾きを検出するセンサーで、例えばゴルフのグリーン傾斜角を簡単に読み取とれる機器である。

従来の簡便な傾斜判別器なるものは、密閉された容器内に水溶液と小さな空気泡を入れて、この空気泡が容器中心からずれる量で容器が傾いているかを判別するものであった。

【考案が解決しようとする課題】
従来の簡便な方法では、溶液の表面張力や粘性等の物性から、空気泡のずれ量で容器の傾斜を定性的に判別できても、より正確に定量的な傾斜角を読み取ることは出来なかった。

【課題を解決しようとするための手段】
前述した目的を達成するために本考案は、底の浅い半球状の容器と自由に転がる鋼球があって、この半球状の容器は透明材で成型し、その背面には最深部を中心とした同心円状のリングを色分けして印刷しておく。

本考案では、グリーン面に置いた時の球状容器の傾きを自由に転がる鋼球の静止位置と、容器背面に印刷された同心円状のリング位置関係から、精度良く読み取るものである。

以下、図面に基づいてゴルフのグリーン傾斜測定を詳細に説明する。
図1は本考案の概観図で底の浅い半球状の透明容器1があって、その容器外壁には最深部を中心とした同心円状のリング(傾斜角線)2が印刷されており、この球面内を自由に転がる鋼球3の静止位置と上記印刷した傾斜角線から傾斜量を読み取るものである。

図2は本考案品のA−A’断面図を示すと共に、グリーン面の傾き角θと鋼球3の静止位置の相関を示している。透過型球状容器1の背面には最深部の中央Pを中心に同心円の傾斜角線2が印刷されていて、鋼球3はθに相当する傾斜角線付近に静止する。

ゴルフのグリーン傾斜量及び方向は周囲の景観に翻弄されて目測を誤るケースが多く、パッティング不調の大きな要因となっている。本来パッティングは平坦のグリーン上でパターのテークバック量とボールの転がり距離が安定した関係になるように練習している。これに対しグリーンが傾いていると、従来は傾き量に応じてテークバック量を感覚的に決める為、上記理由でパッティングの成功率は低かった。これに対し本考案品のグリーンスロープセンサーを使えば、グリーンの傾き量を精度良く読み取れるためテークバック量も定量的に判断でき、パッティングの成功率を上げることができる。
