2. Description of the Related Art At present, portable electronic devices called book type or notebook type are rapidly increasing. In such an electronic device, a battery power supply can be used as a drive power supply in addition to a normal AC power supply in order to make the portability better. Further, the battery pack is detachable and replaceable so that it can be used for a long time in places where there is no AC power supply, such as when going out (see Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 4-245315).

The battery used in this type of device is mainly a secondary battery and has a considerable weight. For this reason, as described in the above publication, the electronic device is configured to be attached to and detached from the electronic device through an opening formed in a side surface of the electronic device main body.
According to such a configuration, there is little danger that the battery pack is undesirably dropped when the electronic device is moved around.

However, the current mainstream is miniaturization and high functionality, and in order to achieve this object, it is necessary to replace the hard disk drive and to form various external connection terminals on the side of the main body. However, if the battery pack is configured to be attached to and detached from the side of the main body, an opening for replacing the hard disk device and a place for mounting the terminal are reduced, which hinders miniaturization.

Next, the attachment / detachment of the battery pack (4) to / from the mounting portion (5) will be described. Loading into the mounting part (5)
First, the hooks (13) and (13) of the battery pack (4) are hooked on the apertures (20) and (20) of the mounting portion (5), and the protruding portion (8) is set to the mounting portion as shown in FIG. (5) Push in. At this time, a part of the slider (6) protrudes into the mounting portion (5) as shown in FIG. 5, but the vicinity of the bottom surface of the battery pack (4) is curved as shown in FIG.
The pushing force acts on the slider (6) as a reaction force of the spring (22), and slides the slider (6) in a direction away from the mounting portion (5), so that the battery pack (4) can be smoothly mounted on the mounting portion (5). ).
When the battery pack (4) is completely loaded, the drag also disappears, so that the slider (6) is mounted on the spring (22).
Return to the original position by the urging force of. In this state, the fitting claws (16) (16) of the slider (6) are connected to the battery pack (4).
And the other end (17a) of the locking claw (17) of the slider (6) is engaged with the locking piece (10) of the battery pack (4). Is locked.

That is, first, the leading end of the slider (6) at the mounting portion (5) of the central portion (14a) is pushed into the mounting portion (5), and the locking claw (17) and the locking piece (10) are inserted. Is released, and the slider (6) is slid in a direction away from the mounting portion (5) while maintaining the state, so that the engagement claw (1) is released.
6) Release the engagement between (16) and the locking holes (12) (12). That is, even if only the slide is performed without performing the pushing, the slide does not occur because the locking claw (17) and the locking piece (10) are locked. In addition, only by the pushing, the fitting claws (16) (16) and the locking holes (12) (1)

In order to easily remove the battery pack (4), a spring means for urging the battery pack (4) upward may be provided on the bottom surface of the mounting portion (5). By disposing the spring means, the engagement between the engagement claws (16) and (16) and the engagement holes (12) and (12) and the engagement between the engagement claw (17) and the engagement piece (10) are prevented. With the release, the projecting portion (8) of the battery pack (4) is attached to the mounting portion (5) as shown in FIG.

According to the present invention, a component must be removed from the back surface of the main body because the component must be removed by a combination of two operations, a vertical operation and a horizontal operation with respect to the bottom surface of the mounting portion. Even if it is possible to mount it, it is possible to prevent unwanted removal due to erroneous operation. Further, since the above two operations are performed on one slider, the structure is simplified.
