Conventionally, there are many types of transfer sheets, and they have been used as a method for easily painting on plastic molded products and the like.
It has been effectively used for many applications over a wide range.
As such a transfer sheet, there is a release sheet in which a transparent release layer, a pattern printing layer, and an adhesive layer are laminated in this order on one surface of a release substrate sheet, but the pattern becomes superficial and flat. Also, in order to express the “shine” of natural wood, the pattern printing layer of the transfer sheet is a wood grain pattern, and the mica ultra-thin flakes whose surface is coated with titanium oxide are dispersed in the adhesive layer ( J. 62-20319). In this transfer sheet, various reflected lights such as those reflected on the surface and those coming out of the surface are mixed, and can realize an effect close to the "shine" of natural wood, but there is "shine" on the whole. Therefore, it has a flat finish, and there is no complicated effect that the luster of natural wood varies depending on the viewing angle. Alternatively, there is a transfer sheet in which a transparent release layer, a pattern printing layer, a wood grain pattern layer made of an ink containing a glitter pigment, and an adhesive layer are laminated in this order on a release substrate sheet, but this is also a surface and an inside. The reflected light mixes well to show a good "shine" effect, but the depth feel of the pattern is poor. In addition, in order to give products a luxurious feeling, some products have a glossy layer formed by vapor deposition of metal or solid printing of an ink containing a brilliant pigment. However, these transfer sheets also have a flat glossy layer. However, only a monotonous appearance can be obtained.

The transparent release layer 2 protects a pattern printing layer and the like after transfer and gives appropriate release properties, and is made of an acrylic resin, a rubber resin, a vinyl resin, a modified phenolic resin, an epoxy resin, a polyamide resin. , Rosin, wax, etc. using a transparent and easily peelable resin-based ink, or a resin-based ink obtained by adding a release agent such as silicon to them as necessary, such as gravure printing, silk screen printing, etc. It is good to provide by a normal printing method.

The pattern printing layer 3 is desirably a layer that can be seen through the white ink pattern layer 4 and the gloss layer 5, which are the lower layers after the transfer. Those formed using highly transparent inks satisfy this condition, but even when there is no transparency, those formed using halftone dots can see through the lower layer from between the halftone dots. The pattern printing layer 3 is formed by gravure printing or silk screen printing using an ink obtained by dispersing a coloring pigment, an additive, and the like in a vehicle in which a resin binder having good adhesion to the transparent release layer 2 is dissolved in a solvent. It is preferable to provide a wood pattern, a stone pattern, and the like by a normal printing method such as a printing method.

By printing the white ink pattern layer 4 with a reverse version of the plate on which the pattern print layer 3 is printed, the glossy layer 5 which is not printed with the white ink and is a lower layer in the transparent printed portion of the pattern print layer 3 can be seen through. In the other portions printed with white ink, the lower gloss layer 5 cannot be seen through. Therefore, it is possible to give a depth to a part of the upper pattern printing layer 3, and since the white ink is usually matte, a glossy part and a matte part are generated as a whole, and a sense of visual unevenness is generated. Given. When fine particles are dispersed as an additive in this white ink, the matting effect is further enhanced. This white ink picture layer 4
A known white pigment such as titanium dioxide and zinc oxide, and fine particles such as silica, calcium carbonate, polyethylene wax, and glass beads are mixed in a vehicle obtained by dissolving a binder having good adhesion to the pattern printing layer 3 in a solvent. It is preferable to use an ink in which various additives are dispersed and to provide the ink by a normal printing method such as a gravure printing method or a silk screen printing method. Further, the ratio of additives such as white pigments and fine particles to the vehicle is preferably 40 to 50% in a state of being used for printing, and the ink is easy to use. If the concentration of the solid component is further increased, plate jams are likely to occur during printing, and further problems such as precipitation of the solid component and a decrease in ink layer strength after printing are likely to occur. In addition, you may pay attention to white ink according to the pattern of a pattern printing layer and a white ink pattern layer.

For the adhesive layer 6, a heat-sensitive or pressure-sensitive resin suitable for the surface of a plastic molded product or the like to be transferred is used. For example, when the transfer object is an AS resin, an acrylic resin or a vinyl resin is used. When the transfer object is polypropylene, a chlorinated polypropylene resin, an ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer resin, or the like is used. The adhesive may be applied by a normal printing method.

Example A gravure solid coat of an acrylic resin-based transparent release agent (Hakuri 45, manufactured by Showa Ink Kogyo Co., Ltd.) was applied uniformly on one surface of a 25 μm-thick polyethylene film (Lumirror, manufactured by Toray Industries Inc.) so as to have a uniform thickness of 1 μm. did. Then, using an acrylic resin-based colored transparent ink (manufactured by Showa Ink Industries, Ltd., BC-heat resistant) on the transparent release layer, printing with a wood pattern gravure plate, and then matting white ink on the picture print layer (BC-heat-resistant white conc, manufactured by Showa Ink Industry Co., Ltd.), and printing was performed using a reverse version of the wood grain pattern gravure plate. Thereafter, an acrylic resin-based pearl ink (manufactured by Showa Ink Industries, Ltd., GG Pearl) is gravure-solid-coated so as to have a uniform thickness of 3 μm on the white ink pattern layer to form a gloss layer. An acrylic resin-based adhesive (HS-32, manufactured by Showa Ink Kogyo Co., Ltd.) was gravure-solid-coated on the gloss layer so that the thickness became 10 μm uniformly, to obtain a transfer sheet of the present invention.
