When taking in paper sheets into the paper sheet take-in space, the right and left ends of the foremost paper sheets among the paper sheets stored in the storage space are suppressed by using a regulating member. Thus, a paper sheet take-in space is formed by the regulating member and the end wall and the side wall opposed thereto, and the paper sheets are taken in.

[0005] Further, when storing the paper sheets taken into the paper sheet take-in space in the storage space, the paper sheets in the paper sheet take-in space and the paper sheets in the storage space are placed between the paper sheets. The regulating member at the intervening position retreats left and right so as to completely separate from the paper sheets, moves as it is to the end wall of the paper sheet take-in space, and then moves so as to be integrated with the end wall. This suppresses the left and right edges of the forefront paper sheet in contact with the end wall. Thereafter, the regulating member moves in the direction of the storage space, so that the sheets in the paper sheet take-in space are stored in the storage space.

Therefore, if a sheet having a different shape or a sheet conveyed in a poor posture exists in the sheet handling apparatus, the sheet is taken into the sheet taking-in space of the sheet storage. If the regulating member is enlarged to reliably regulate the inserted paper sheets, the end wall constituting the paper sheet intake space is inevitably small, and is conveyed to the paper sheet intake space. It is difficult to orderly take in paper sheets.

On the other hand, if the shape of the end wall is increased in order to take in the sheets conveyed to the sheet taking-in space in an orderly manner, the regulating member has to be made small, so that the sheet taking-up space is inevitably reduced. It is not possible to reliably control paper sheets taken in an inclined state or small-sized paper sheets, and it becomes impossible to take them into the storage section.

As described above, when there is a sheet having a different shape or a sheet being conveyed in a state of being in a poor posture during conveyance, it is possible to securely store the sheets in the sheet storage. It is not possible, and there is a possibility that paper sheets may stay in the paper sheet handling apparatus.

In addition, the push-in plate 608 securely stores the minimum size bill among the bills handled by the bill handling apparatus 1 in the storage space 617.
The banknote is moved forward and backward so as to cover the entire width direction of the banknote take-in space 616 at a height at which the lower part of the banknote of the minimum size can be pushed below the center.

In this embodiment, the bill P1 is stored in the storage space 6.
Although the board is used as the pushing means for moving the bill to 17, the bill handling device 1 handles the whole width direction of the bill taking-in space 616 at a height at which the lower part of the smallest bill is pushed. A rod or the like may be used as long as it moves forward and backward.

Further, the pushing plate 608 is provided in the storage space 61.
7, the upper partition plate 611 comes off the pushing auxiliary guide 609 or the upper end of the bill P1, which will be described later.
When the lower partition plate 613 comes off the lower end of the banknote P1, the upper partition plate 611 and the lower partition plate 613 return to the positions shown in FIG. As a result, the upper partition plate 611 and the lower partition plate 613 serve as walls that partition the bill taking-in space 616 and the storage space 617, and the bill P1 is stored in the storage space 617.

The pushing plate 608 and the upper partition plate 611
Since the upper partition plate fulcrum shaft 612, which is the rotation axis of, is fixed to the same drive belt 618 and moves in conjunction therewith, the moving amount of the pushing plate 608 is smaller than when the upper partition plate fulcrum shaft 612 is fixed. Small enough.

Thereafter, as shown in FIG.
08 retreats in the direction of the bill receiving space 616, and the upper partition plate 611 advances in the direction of the storage space 617. At this time, as shown in FIG. 7, since the upper partition plate 611 has a slit for avoiding collision with a pushing assist guide 609 described later, the pushing plate 608 and the pushing assist guide 6 are provided.
09 can pass without colliding with the upper partition plate 611. Thus, the banknote P1 supported by the push-in plate 608 and the push-in assist guide 609 is supported by the upper partition plate 611 and the lower partition plate 613.

In the above-described example of the deposit operation, the bills conveyed to the deposit safe 6 are correctly accumulated in the bill taking-in space 616. Even when bills conveyed in a state or broken ears are conveyed to the deposit box 6 and are accumulated without being organized in the bill taking-in space 616, the accumulated bills are securely stored in the storage space 617. The push-in assisting guide 60 is rotatable about a push-in fulcrum shaft 610 above the push-in plate 608 so that the push-in guide 6 can rotate.
9 are provided. The pushing assist guide 609 will be described below. As shown in FIG. 13, the tip of the pushing assist guide 609 is attached to the bill P in the bill taking-in space 616.
The surface in contact with 1 is claw-shaped and rounded. Then, as shown in FIGS. 7 and 13, the bill taking-in space 616 of the bill taking-in space ceiling plate 619 corresponding to the ceiling of the bill taking-in space 616.
The side surface has an uneven shape, and the tip of the pushing assist guide 609 passes through the recess.

With this configuration, the pushing assist guide 609 advances in the direction of the storage space 617, so that the banknotes P 1 that have been misaligned and deposited above the height of the pushing plate 608 can be stored in the storage space 617 without being jammed. When the pushing auxiliary guide 609 moves forward by the maximum amount, the upper partition plate 611 is opened and rotates downward, and the storage space ceiling plate 621 replaces the upper partition plate 611 to suppress the bill P1 from above. All the banknotes P1 accumulated in the banknote take-in space 616 are stored in the storage space 617.

Thus, when the banknotes conveyed to the deposit safe 6 are taken into the banknote take-in space 616, the banknotes do not wrap around above the tip of the pushing auxiliary guide 609, and when the pushing auxiliary guide 609 moves forward, The bill P1 in the bill taking-in space 616 is pushed in at the front of the pushing assist guide 609.

That is, the other end of the spring 624 connected to the pressing plate 615 is pressed and connected to the fulcrum shaft 610. Thereby, when the bill P1 in the bill taking-in space 616 is moved to the storage space 617, the pushing plate 608 is advanced by the pulling force of the spring 624 until the pushing plate 608 contacts the bill P1 and the bill P2. In the above-described embodiment, the present invention is applied to the deposit box 6 that performs only depositing. However, by adjusting the rotation movable range of the upper partition plate 611 and the lower partition plate 613 with movable pins, the bill collection is performed. And the press plate 615 is driven by a motor.

Also, an in-box 6 for storing bills in a standing position.
However, the banknote take-in space 616 is arranged at the upper part and the storage space 617 is arranged at the lower part, and the banknotes conveyed to the deposit safe 6 are taken into the banknote take-up space 616 from the side, and the brush is applied so that the banknotes are along the wall surface. By pushing the bills downward by the rollers 604 to accumulate in the bill taking-in space 616, and then pushing the bills accumulated in the lower storage space 617 collectively, the bills are piled up in a lying state. An in-box safe 6 for storage can be realized.
