2. Description of the Related Art Water-in-oil emulsions are often used in stencil printing inks used for simple printing and the like because of their excellent drying properties. When a resin component is contained in the oil phase, pigment dispersibility and fixability are improved, and it is difficult to discolor the printed matter even when it is rubbed. Among them, fatty acid-modified alkyd resin is relatively good. However, the pigment fixability was not sufficient.

[0010] The oil length of the alkyd resin is expressed in terms of% by weight in the resin when the fatty acid in the fat or oil is present as triglyceride. The oil length is preferably from 65 to 80, and if the oil length is shorter than 60 or longer than 90, the dispersibility of the pigment is inferior. On the other hand, if the iodine value is larger than 80, a film is easily formed on the plate cylinder of the printing press, and if left for a long period of time, the screen of the plate cylinder is clogged, which is not preferable.

[0015] The stencil ink of the present invention improves the permeability when printed on paper by greatly improving the dispersibility, wetting, and fluidity of the oil phase of the pigment. (Penetrated first, leaving only pigment on the surface)
And excellent pigment fixation. Although a slight improvement is observed even when the aluminum chelate compound alone is added, the use of the alkyd resin of the present invention significantly improves the pigment fixability. For the same reason, the ratio of the oil phase component other than the pigment to the pigment is preferably at least twice the oil absorption of the pigment used.

As the emulsifier, nonionic ones having an HLB of 10 or less such as sorbitan fatty acid ester, glycerin or polyglycerin fatty acid ester, sugar ester and polyoxyethylene fatty acid ester can be used. In addition to water, a polyhydric alcohol such as ethylene glycol, glycerin, or propylene glycol can be added to the aqueous phase to prevent freezing and suppress evaporation. In order to improve the emulsion stability of the ink, a water-soluble polymer such as methylcellulose and carboxymethylcellulose, a preservative, an electrolyte and the like can be added.

The stencil printing ink of the present invention is obtained by adding a colorant to all or a part of an oil layer component, and using a three-roll mill,
The mixture is kneaded and dispersed by a disperser such as a sand mill, and while adding an emulsifier and gradually adding water, a water-in-oil emulsion is formed by a disperser such as a homomixer, a sand mill, and a disper. The particle size of the finely dispersed aqueous phase is preferably 50 μm or less.

DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS The present invention will be described based on embodiments. In the example,
“Parts” and “%” are “parts by weight” and “% by weight”, respectively. Example 1 A four-necked flask equipped with a stirrer was charged with coconut oil (76 parts), pentaerythritol (7 parts), and sodium hydroxide (0.05 part), and subjected to a transesterification reaction at 240 ° C under a nitrogen stream, and then isophthalic acid (17 parts). And further reacted to obtain an alkyd resin. The iodine value of this resin was 10 or less.

10 parts of this resin, A, manufactured by Nippon Petrochemical Co., Ltd.
5 parts of F solvent were mixed, 5 parts of furnace carbon black and 0.2 part of aluminum chelate M were mixed, and the mixture was kneaded with three rolls. To this, 5 parts of sorbitan sesquioleate was mixed to obtain an oil phase. The oil phase was stirred and emulsified with a disper while gradually adding an aqueous phase in which 1 part of magnesium sulfate, 10 parts of glycerin and 59 parts of water had been mixed in advance to obtain a stencil printing ink. When printing was performed using this ink using a pre-port VT-3500 (single cylinder type stencil printing machine) manufactured by Ricoh Co., Ltd., printing could be performed without any problem. Further, when the printed matter was rubbed, it was found that there was little discoloration and the pigment fixability was excellent. Further, printing was resumed after the printing machine was left for 48 hours in a state where the ink was filled, and the printing was good without clogging of the plate cylinder.

The stencil printing ink of the present invention is excellent in pigment wetting and fluidity of the oil phase due to the combined use of a fatty acid-modified alkyd and an aluminum chelate compound, so that the printed matter has excellent pigment fixability. . Further, since the iodine value of the fatty acid-modified alkyd is low, the plate cylinder is not clogged with the ink even after being left on a printing press.
