[Prior Art] Honing is known as a method of grinding a cylindrical inner diameter or the like. This honing process uses a grindstone to maintain a constant surface contact with the workpiece, and at the same time, efficiently corrects the dimensions, shape, and surface of the workpiece by rotating and reciprocating movement. This is a precision processing method to be performed. Conventionally, a super-abrasive grindstone used in this honing process is generally a metal bond type stick grindstone as shown in FIG. 4 because of its excellent holding power and abrasion resistance. I have. In the figure, reference numeral 10 denotes a honing whetstone, and reference numeral 11 denotes a whetstone stand. As shown in FIG. 5, the grindstone table 11 to which the honing grindstone 10 is attached is mounted on the expansion cone 12 and moved up and down while rotating, thereby grinding the inner surface of the material 13 to be ground.

However, in the above-mentioned conventional metal bond type grindstone, since the grinding wheel working surface and the material to be ground are always in contact during grinding, it is difficult to supply a grinding fluid to the grinding wheel working surface, and
It was difficult to discharge grinding chips. In addition, it is difficult to select the most suitable grindstone for the required working conditions, and there is a problem that the range of applicable grindstone specifications is narrow. Also,
Metal bond type whetstone does not contain pores structurally,
Since it is difficult to form a chip pocket on the working surface of the grinding wheel during the grinding operation, there have been problems such as clogging of the grinding wheel and burning of the grinding wheel.

The superabrasive honing wheel of the present invention has a structure in which a plate-shaped grindstone and a soft binder in which a soft binder having a low grinding resistance is interposed between a plurality of plate-shaped grindstones are alternately laminated, and the cutting powder of the workpiece is used. The soft binder is easily cut off to form a groove between the plurality of plate-like grindstones, and the alternately laminated structure is wrapped with the soft binder.

As shown in the drawing, in the present embodiment, a structure is adopted in which a plurality of plate-shaped superabrasive grinding wheels 2 at intervals are surrounded by a soft binder 3.
This superabrasive grindstone 2 is preferably a thin plate having a thickness of 0.5 mm or less, and the thickness depends on the abrasive grain size and the size of the grinding chips.
When the abrasive grain size is small or when applied to a material to be ground having small grinding chips, it is necessary to reduce the thickness. Further, by changing the number and the interval of the superabrasive grindstones 2, it is possible to cope with any size.

As the soft binder 3, any material may be used as long as it is easier to wear than the superabrasive grindstone 2, and various materials such as a thermosetting resin, an adhesive, and a soft metal can be used. It should be noted that a composite laminated structure can be obtained by using a resin bond, a metal bond, or the like containing an abrasive material for the soft binder 3.
Further, by changing the degree of grinding wheel coupling and the number of grinding wheels, it is possible to design a large number of honing grinding wheels 1 having different specifications.

Since the honing grindstone 1 has such a structure, the soft binder 3 between the superabrasive grindstones 2 is cut off by the chips during the grinding, and the chips are transmitted to the outside through the grooves. As a result, stable sharpness is maintained without clogging unlike a conventional honing stone. In addition, the grinding fluid is sufficiently transmitted to the working surface of the grindstone through the groove, so that burning of the grindstone can be prevented.

また、従来のメタルホーニング砥石の場合、剛性が高

Further, in the case of the conventional metal honing grindstone, the rigidity is high, so that there was a problem in the initial adaptation to the material to be ground, but the initial adaptation becomes faster by using a soft binder having elasticity.

さらに、研削切粉の排出が従来のメタルホーニング砥

Furthermore, since the discharge of the grinding chips is superior to that of the conventional metal honing stone, the chipping of the bond surface due to the chips is small, and the grinding performance of the grinding stone can be maximized. Therefore, compared to the conventional metal honing grindstone, the required precision such as the finished surface roughness and the roundness is more stable, and high precision grinding is possible. In addition, because of excellent discharge of grinding chips, it can be applied to grinding of ductile materials such as stainless steel, aluminum, and brass.
