た組立段階においても、部品調達が複雑で、しかも各部
材の位置決めのために多くの治具を必要とする。さらに
溶接箇所が多く、歪みの発生が増加し、寸法精度の低下
をもたらす、といった種々の問題があった。

ができ、重量も軽くなる車両の側構体構造を提供するこ
とを目的としている。

尻柱3や側柱4の代わりとなるものであり、横方向のリ
ブ31cは窓部腰帯5や補強部材1の代わりとなるもので
ある。

部材結合部の適切な形状の確保等も容易にできる。
