Field of the Invention The present invention relates to a continuous writing function for converting one original into a single printed matter based on two originals which have been edited by designating an area of two originals. The present invention relates to an image reading device in a plate-making printing machine having the following. 2. Description of the Related Art Conventionally, as described above, the creation of two originals edited by designating the area of two originals is disclosed in Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 61-13867. It is known. This is done by reading a sheet on which a description for specifying a predetermined area has been made before starting reading of the document, storing the read data in a predetermined memory, and thereafter reading the document.
The read data of the document is processed separately for each area stored in the memory. In such a device, for example, FIG.
For example, the D and E portions of the first document 1 as shown in FIG. 1 are deleted, the top and the bottom of the second document 3 are extracted, and both are combined to form a single printed matter 5. There are times when it is desired to separately specify the area of each document and to perform different image processing separately. [0004] In such a case, conventionally, a third original in which A, B, and C portions are extracted from the first original 1 using the first original area designation sheet 2 and a third original Using the second original area designation sheet 4 from the second original 3 to create a composite original by combining the fourth original with the red and white portions deleted, such a composite original is prepared for each individual document. It must be created by cutting and pasting the manuscript. As described above, the synthesizing work is troublesome in terms of alignment and the like, and in addition, there is a problem that the shadow of the bonding end portion appears on the printed matter. Accordingly, an object of the present invention is to solve the above-mentioned problems of the conventional apparatus, and to create an arbitrary handwritten closed curve on an area designation sheet without re-creating a new document by cutting and pasting work. Another object of the present invention is to provide an image reading apparatus capable of separately performing image processing and synthesizing a document only with an image of a cut-and-paste operation of designating an area. SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION In order to achieve the above object, the present invention provides an image reading apparatus for a plate-making printing press, in which a two-sided continuous shooting mode is designated and a first-side original is designated. After the image editing process is performed, one roll-shaped stencil sheet is transported, and the first plate is made downstream in the transport direction of the roll-shaped stencil sheet. Stopping the transport of the base paper, newly specifying the image editing processing mode of the second side, sending out the second side original, performing the image editing processing, and then transporting the rolled base paper again,
It is characterized in that a second face plate is made on the upstream side in the conveying direction of the remaining roll-shaped base paper. An embodiment of the present invention shown in the drawings will be described. FIGS. 2 and 3 show a printing machine in which the reading device of the present invention is installed, and includes an automatic document feeder (hereinafter referred to as ADF) 11, a reading device 12, a plate making device 13, a drum detachable stencil printing device 14, A processing circuit 15, a control circuit 16,
An operation unit 17 is provided. Further, as shown in FIG. 3, a plurality of originals placed on the original
Are inserted one by one from the lowermost one, and are transported accurately by the document transport rollers 24. The light of the fluorescent lamp 26 is reflected on the original surface and changed the optical path by a mirror 27, then converged by a lens unit 28, photoelectrically converted by a CCD sensor 29, and the image information of the original is converted into an electric signal. The stencil making device 13 is a roll-shaped thermosensitive stencil sheet 31.
, A platen roller 32 that presses it against the thermal head while transporting it, a thermal head 33 that pierces image information in the base paper 31, a base paper cutting cutter 34, and a plate feed roller for feeding the leading end of the base paper to the clamper portion of the printing drum. 35, a peeling roller 36 for peeling off the end of the used base paper from the outer periphery of the printing drum, and a conveying roller 37 for conveying the plate discharge base paper,
A plate discharge storage box 38 is provided for storing used base paper separated from the printing drum. The printing paper 42 loaded on the paper feed table 41 is sent out from the uppermost one by the rotation of the pickup roller 43, and is separated by a single sheet between the paper feed roller 44 and the separation blade 45 so that the feed roller is separated. Sent to 46. The feed roller 46 feeds the printing paper between the drum 47 and the press roller 48 in synchronization with the rotation of the printing drum 47. The printing drum 47 having a perforated stencil wrapped around its outer periphery has an ink supply unit inside, and the printing ink is interposed between the printing drum 47 and a press roller 48 so that the printing ink is perforated in the stencil. Transfer to paper according to. The printed sheets are conveyed by the sheet discharge conveyance suction unit 49 and are sequentially stacked on the sheet discharge table 50. The printing drum 47 is integrated with an ink supply container, an ink supply pump, an ink supply unit, and the like as a drum unit. Can be used.
The details of the drum unit attaching / detaching mechanism are described in detail in Japanese Utility Model Laid-Open Publication No. 61-85462. In order to specify the area, a first area specifying sheet 2 having the same size as the translucent original size is superimposed on the first original 1 on the first side, and the line width is 0.25 mm using a water-based felt-tip pen or the like.
With the above writing implement, the image to be edited is surrounded by a closed curve by handwriting. Similarly, the area of the second original 3 on the second side is specified by the second area specifying sheet 4. In this case, the closed curve for specifying the area may be a concave figure as shown in FIGS. 4A to 4D, or any number may be specified. Next, a two-screen continuous shooting mode key 56 on the operation board 55 shown in FIG. 6 is pressed to set a two-screen continuous shooting mode. Then, the user presses the image processing mode key 57 to specify a desired processing mode using the numeric keypad 58 to determine what to do with the designated area of the original on the first side. In this processing mode, extraction of an area, deletion of an area, elimination of an image in an area (framing), image shading of an area, photograph mode in an area, character mode outside the area, and elimination of an image in an area For example, Fn1 is displayed on the display unit 60 when the processing mode is designated by the ten keys 58. Next, when the start key 59 is pressed, the area designation sheet 2 on the first side enters the reading device via the ADF 11 unit. Reading by this device is CC with accuracy of 16 dots / mm
It is read by a line reading element such as D. However, since the thickness of the line specifying the area is specified as 0.25 mm or more, 1 /
There is no inconvenience even if data is sampled at 4. Here, the reason why the width is specified as 0.25 mm is that the line thickness of a writing instrument such as a felt-tip pen is almost 0.5 mm or more. Next, the original and the area designation sheet are superimposed as shown in FIG.
The four images are set on the ADF 11 with the image side down. The sampling method will be described with reference to FIG. In the sub-scanning direction, the excitation method of the driving stepping motor of the ADF 11 is switched so that the speed is twice as fast as the document feeding speed, so that an image is read every two lines. Then, an interval is further provided by the 1/2 frequency dividing circuit, and as a result, an image is read every four lines. In the main scanning direction, each line data sampled in the sub-scanning direction is sampled every four data by a 1/4 frequency dividing circuit. Next, the sampled data is stored in a frame memory, and a closed curve filling process as shown in FIG. 4 is performed. As shown in FIG. 8, the processing of I-1 is performed from left to right in the frame memory from top to bottom, and the processing of I-2 is subsequently performed from right to left. When the processing reaches the bottom, the processing of II-1 is performed from right to left from the bottom upward, and then the processing of II-2 is performed from left to right to the top. In this way, this processing method is a method of converting the center pixel into new image information based on the image information from the center pixel (E) and the eight neighboring pixels (A to I excluding E). The concrete method is described in the above I-1, II-
Regarding 2, E or [(CD or G) and (C or

2, II-1, E or [(A or D) and (C
or F)], the target pixel E is painted out. For all of I-1, I-2, II-1, and II-2, the result is the result of filling the filled area. This will be described with reference to FIG.
Although only the processing of (1) completely fills the part (a) inside the closed curve, the parts of the part (c) and part (d) also become excessively filled. It is subjected to the processing of I-2, ANDed with I-1, and the c-section is deleted, and the processing of II-1 and II-2 is performed to delete the d-section. The data painted in this way is stored in the painting memory. The above is the method of reading the area designation sheet 2 of the first document. Subsequently, the first original 1 automatically enters the ADF 11, and the image data is processed in accordance with the designated editing processing mode, and at the same time, the perforations are made in the base paper by the thermal head as described above. Is performed. After the completion of the plate making of the original on the first side, all the driving systems are stopped, and the image processing mode on the second side can be designated again. Similarly to the first side, when the user operates the keys on the operation unit to specify the image processing mode and presses the start key, the ADF 11 automatically conveys the third-side area designation sheet and the original. Then, a plate making process is performed following the first surface. After plate making, printing is performed according to the designated number of prints. According to the present invention, as described above, in the image reading apparatus of a plate-making printing machine, the two-side continuous shooting mode is designated, the first-side original is sent out, and the image editing process is performed. Thereafter, one roll-shaped base paper is transported, and after the first side plate is made on the downstream side in the transport direction of the roll-shaped base paper, the image editing process and the transport of the roll-shaped base paper are once stopped, and a new one is stopped. After the image editing process mode of the second side is designated, the original on the second side is sent out and subjected to the image editing process, the rolled base paper is transported again, and the rolled base paper is transported upstream to the remaining transport direction upstream. Since two-sided plate making is performed, the two originals are separately image-processed and combined by a simple operation without the need for cumbersome work such as cutting and pasting work unlike the conventional one. That you can effective.
