(57)【特許請求の範囲】(57) [Claims] 【請求項1】 主軸に固着した羽根車が羽根車室に回転
自在に収容され、この羽根車室の下流側に連設した吐出
系を貫通して前記主軸が外部に導出され、該吐出系の貫
通部に前記主軸を取り囲む軸封ボックスが連設されてい
るとともに、この軸封ボックスの軸封室に装入されてい
る軸封部材により前記主軸を回転自在かつ液密に軸封す
る立軸ポンプの軸封装置において、前記軸封部材がドラ
イ運転可能な素材によって形成され、前記軸封ボックス
の軸封室よりも上流側に前記吐出系から軸封ボックス内
への揚水の透過を許し、その揚水に混入されている異物
を捕集して軸封部材と主軸との摺接部への異物の侵入を
阻止するフイルター部材が前記主軸を貫通して設けられ
ているとともに、このフイルター部材の少なくとも主軸
貫通部に対応する前記主軸の外周に該主軸と同時に回転
することによって前記軸封ボックスの軸封室側から前記
吐出系側に水を送り出すスクリュー部が設けられている
ことを特徴とする立軸ポンプの軸封装置。
