(57)【特許請求の範囲】(57) [Claims] 【請求項1】 一枚厚肉鋼板を、プレス加工により長手
軸方向に沿い複数回曲げ、各コーナーR部を形成し、そ
の断面を一部開口した五角形またはコ字形に成形した
後、長手軸方向継目を溶接して断面五角形近似または六
角形近似の半成形鋼管を形成し、前記鋼管を所定温度に
均一加熱して熱処理した後、鋼管全体を常温付近の温度
まで冷却し、角形成形ロール工程に装入して、前記半成
形鋼管を冷間塑性加工により、規格に沿った角形断面鋼
管に成形することを特徴とする大径角形鋼管の成形工
法。

形鋼管を形成する溶接装置、前記鋼管を所定温度に均一
加熱する加熱装置、冷却装置、前記角形半成形鋼管断面
を冷間塑性加工により規格に沿った角形断面に整形す
る、複数段よりなる角形成形ロール装置とより成ること
を特徴とする大径角形鋼管の成形装置。
