開口や戸扉の可視窓をより大きくして加熱室内を見やす
くすることも実現できる。さらにガスケットと加熱室開
口部前板との密着性が良くなったことにより加熱室内の
熱気もれを減少させ、オーブン時の設定温度までの立ち
上り時間の短縮や高温加熱時の消費エネルギーを削減す
ることができた。また、蒸気や油煙によるドア周囲への
汚れや使用している室内の空気の汚れも著しく改善でき
た。また、ガスケットそのもの製作時の形状を、戸扉の
装着時の直線部やコーナー部を意識せずに同一形状に製
作できる。従って、単純な同一断面形状の押出成形品で
あり、安価に製作できる。以上のように高周波加熱装置
はもとより、電気オーブンやガスオーブンを併設したも
のにおいては実用上きわめて有利なものである。
