Description

【発明の詳細な説明】 〔産業上の利用分野〕 本発明はカラーフィルタの作製方法に関するものであ
る。
〔従来の技術〕
従来、カラーホログラムとしては、染色タイプのもの
が使用されている。
第２図は従来の染色タイプのホログラム作製方法を示
す図である。
図に示すように、まずガラス基板11にゼラチン層12を
塗布し、次いでパターン露光を行って、ゼラチンパター
ン層13を形成する。そしてタンニン酸処理等により染料
をゼラチンパターン層13に固着させて染色パターン層14
を形成することにより、単色のホログラムを作製するこ
とができる。そして、パターン露光、ゼラチンパターン
層と染色パターン層を形成する工程を３色についてそれ
ぞれ行うことによりカラーホログラムを形成することが
できる。
〔発明が解決すべき課題〕
しかしながら、第２図に示した従来の染色タイプのホ
ログラム作製方法では、製造工程が複雑であり、そのた
め製造コストが高くなってしまうと共に、充分な解像度
のホログラムを作製することが困難であった。また、シ
アン、マゼンタ、イエロー３色についての３回のパター
ン露光を必要とするため、その位置合わせが極めて困難
であった。
本発明は上記問題点を解決するためのもので、ホトリ
ソの工程、精密な位置合わせ等を不要とすることがで
き、充分な解像度を得ることが可能なカラーフィルタの
作製方法を提供することを目的とする。
〔課題を解決するための手段〕
そのために本発明は、R,G,B情報からなるカラーフィ
ルタのパターンが記録されたリップマンホログラムから
なるマスターホログラムと、感光材料とを対向配置し、
感光材料側からR,G,Bの３色混合光を照射し、マスター
ホログラムのカラーフィルタパターンを感光材料に転写
複製することを特徴とする。
〔作用〕
本発明は、R,G,Bカラーフィルタが記録されたリップ
マンホログラムをマスターホログラムとして感光材料と
対向させ、感光材料側から３色混合光を照射することに
より、１回の露光でR,G,Bカラーフィルタの再生像を感
光材料に転写複製し、カラーフィルタを作製することが
できるので、フォトリソの工程、精密な位置合わせ等を
不要とすることができる。
〔実施例〕
以下、実施例を図面を参照して説明する。
第１図は本発明のカラーフィルタの作製方法を説明す
るための図である。図中１は感光材料、２はマスターホ
ログラムである。
図において、マスターホログラム２はリップマンホロ
グラムであり、それぞれの領域はR,G,Bの干渉パターン
が記録されている。このマスターホログラム２に対して
感光材料１を対向配置する。そして、感光材料１側から
R,G,B混合光を照射すると、マスターホログラム２から
の反射光と入射光とにより干渉が生じ、その干渉縞が感
光材料１に記録される。こうして一度の露光でマスター
ホログラム２のパターンが感光材料１に転写複製される
ことになる。
なおこの場合、感光材料とマスターホログラムの間隔
が大き過ぎると、隣接領域からの反射光が混入し、その
干渉縞も同一場所に記録されるて像のボケが生じてしま
う。したがって、両者の間隔はなるべく狭くする必要が
あり、パターンの大きさ程度、例えばストライプ型フィ
ルタの場合ではストライプの間隔の２分の１以下程度と
することが好ましい。
また、上記実施例ではストライプフィルタについて説
明したが、本発明は必ずしもこれに限定されるものでな
く、例えばメッシュ状フィルタ等に適用してもよいこと
を言うまでもない。
〔発明の効果〕
以上のように本発明によれば、１回の露光でR,G,Bカ
ラーフィルタの再生像を感光材料に転写複製することに
より、精密な位置合わせを要することなく、解像度のよ
いカラーフィルタを作製することができる。

    (57)【特許請求の範囲】
  1. 【請求項１】R,G,B情報からなるカラーフィルタのパタ
    ーンが記録されたリップマンホログラムからなるマスタ
    ーホログラムと、感光材料とを対向配置し、感光材料側
    からR,G,Bの３色混合光を照射し、前記マスターホログ
    ラムのカラーフィルタパターンを感光材料に転写複製す
    ることを特徴とするカラーフィルタの作製方法。
  2. 【請求項２】カラーフィルターのパターンが、ストライ
    プパターンである請求項１記載のカラーフィルタの作製
    方法。
  3. 【請求項３】感光材料とマスターホログラムとの間隔
    は、ストライプの間隔の1/2以下である請求項２記載の
    カラーフィルタの作製方法。
