具10および挿し口40は前記接当部となる内周面23a側へ

いうような事態が回避される。しかも、挿し口挿入時に
該位置決め部材は、抜け止め具のその拡径を可能とする
ようにその内面に弾性支持するので、その挿入が円滑に
行える。従って、本発明の管継手によれば、挿し口挿入
時の作業性が改善され、本発明の目的が達成される。

口を挿入させるために開口している受け口と、該凹部に
配置され、拡径しつつ挿し口を挿入させ、縮径しつつ挿
し口の外周面を係止してその抜け止めを行う抜け止め具
とを備え、該凹部には、挿し口挿入時の抜け止め具の拡
径を許容するための抜け止め具まわりの隙間が形成され
ている管継手であって、該凹部の奥側に保持される被保
持部と、内面によって抜け止め具の外面を弾性支持し、
抜け止め具の拡径が可能なようにスリットを有し、凹部
に配置される抜け止め具支持部とからなる抜け止め具用
の位置決め部材を備えていることを特徴とする管継手。
