(Prior Art) Conventionally, there has been known a molding method in which a hollow portion is formed by using a high-pressure gas during injection molding of plastic. That is, a molten plastic is filled in a cavity of a mold, and a gas such as nitrogen gas at a high pressure is injected into the molten plastic to form a gas occupying space as a hollow portion. In the hollow molded body formed by such a method, a passage at the time of gas injection is formed as a gas injection hole. However, such a gas injection hole has a risk of intrusion of water or the like, and furthermore, an aesthetic appearance of the product. In many cases, it will eventually be blocked because it impairs.

(Problems to be Solved by the Invention) However, when the hollow portion is sealed in this way, the hollow portion expands or contracts due to a change in outside air temperature, and the outer shape of the product changes. There was a defect.

(Operation) The hollow portion communicates with the outside air through the through hole and the gas injection hole,
The product does not deform even if the humidity changes. At this time, by making the position of the through hole opposite to the position of the gas injection hole, water or the like that has entered through one of the holes escapes from the other hole as it is, and the drainage property is improved. The high-pressure gas injected from the hole acts directly on the hollow overhang, and the formation of the hollow is reliable and easy.

Further, in the second method, since the high-pressure gas injected from the gas injection hole is directly blown toward the projection, the formation of the through hole can be reliably and easily performed.

The first molding method of the present invention will be described. As shown in FIG. 1, a cavity 3 is formed on a mating surface of an upper mold 1 and a lower mold 2, and the upper mold 1 has a cavity 3 in the cavity 3. An injection unit 4 for filling plastic is provided.

On the other hand, the lower mold 2 is provided with an injection part 5 for injecting a high-pressure gas into the filled molten plastic,
For example, a guide member 9 and a pin 10 are integrally provided above a piston 8 that slides up and down in a hydraulic cylinder 7 attached to the lower die 2 to constitute a gas injection mechanism. That is, the gas passage 12 is provided in the small-diameter portion space 11 where the guide member 9 slides.
A gas injection nozzle 14 is formed between the small-diameter portion space 11 and the cavity 3 as a communication hole. When the pin 10 moves upward, it slides on the gas injection nozzle 14 to shut off the gas injection nozzle 14, and moves downward to open the gas injection nozzle 14. In addition, the tip of the pin 10 can reach the inside of the cavity 3 during upward movement.

On the other hand, a concave portion 15 is provided in the upper mold 1 on the side opposite to the gas injection nozzle 14 with the cavity 3 interposed therebetween. The recess 15 forms an overhang of the hollow molded body 16 described below.

That is, when the molten plastic is filled in the cavity 3 of the mold apparatus, the piston 8 of the injection section 5 is raised by hydraulic operation. When a hole is made in the surface of the molten plastic in the cavity 3 at the tip of the pin 10, the piston 8 descends to open the gas injection nozzle 14. For this reason, the high-pressure gas supplied from the gas passage 12 enters the inside of the molten plastic through the holes on the surface thereof, and forms a hollow portion 17 as shown in FIG. At the same time, the hole initially formed by the pin 10 is formed as a gas injection hole 18.

On the other hand, a hollow projection 20 is formed in the recess 15 of the upper die 1 described above. Since the high-pressure gas injected from the gas injection hole 18 acts directly on the inside of the overhang, the inside of the overhang can be reliably made hollow. Then, the hollow molded body 16 is formed by solidification while maintaining a constant gas pressure, and after the mold is released, the hollow overhang portion 20 is cut along the line A to form the through hole 21.

FIG. 3 shows a second molding method of the present invention. In the case of this mold, a projection 22 projecting from the upper mold 1 into the cavity is provided opposite to the position of the gas injection nozzle 14 of the lower mold 2. Have been. The tip of the projection 22 is sharp. Such a cavity is filled with molten plastic,
Next, when a high-pressure gas is injected in the same procedure as described above, a hollow portion is formed and a projection on which the high-pressure gas acts directly.
No pressure layer is formed on 22, and a through hole 24 can be provided in the hollow molded body 23. The through holes 21 and 24 of the hollow molded bodies 16 and 23 formed as described above and the gas injection nozzle 14 allow the hollow portion 17 to communicate with the outside air so that the product is distorted even when the humidity of the outside air changes. There is no. Also, even if rainwater or the like enters through the through holes 21 and 24, it can escape from the gas injection hole 18 as it is, so that drainage is good.

(Effect of the Invention) As described above, the plastic hollow molded article of the present invention can prevent a problem such as deformation of a product due to a change in outside air temperature with a very simple configuration, and can improve drainage in the hollow portion. I can do it. In addition, since the injection gas pressure is used for the through hole forming portion in the molding method, the drilling operation is easy.
