を冷媒と共に気密に収容してなる密閉形電動圧縮機のガ
ラス密封端子の導電端子に接続されるプロテクタであっ
て、 金属製の密閉容器とこの密閉容器を貫通して絶縁固定さ
れた2本のリード端子ピンを有した熱応動開閉器と、 熱応動開閉器より充分に大きな開口部を有し収納された
熱応動開閉器の密閉容器の大部分を露出する電気絶縁物
製の浅い箱形ホルダーを有し、 該ホルダーには一端が電動機巻線や電源等に接続され他
端が熱応動開閉器に接続される2個の接続端子が保持固
定されており、前記ホルダーの一側面にはガラス密封端子に向けて壁が
形成されており、 その反対側の開口部には熱応動開閉器を収納する凹部と
熱応動開閉器のリード端子ピンと各々の接続端子との固
着部を収納する部分と接続端子を固定する部分が配設さ
れており、 接続端子を固定する部分にはそれぞれの接続端子がホル
ダーの一端に受けた力を熱応動開閉器に接続された端部
に伝達する事の無いように固定され、 固着部を収納する部分には熱応動開閉器のリード端子ピ
ンと前記接続端子の一端が収納されて互いに導電的に固
着され、 このリセプタクルは前記ガラス密封端子の導電端子に固
定されたタブ端子に直接挿入接続され、 前記ホルダーの凹部に前記熱応動開閉器が容器の大部分
を周囲雰囲気中に暴露するように位置決めされた上で収
納され、 該熱応動開閉器のリード端子ピン又は密閉容器と前記接
続端子とを導電的に固着することにより熱応動開閉器の
ホルダーに対する固定が行われる事を特徴とする密閉形
電動圧縮機用プロテクタ。
