Description

【発明の詳細な説明】 産業上の利用分野 本発明になるAVTCシステムは、CRT等上に表示された
グラフィック画面に基づき、機器の制御，監視を行なう
制御システムに関する。
従来の技術 最近、機器制御を行なう手段として、赤外線リモコン
を用いたものが多く、特にオーディオ，ビデオ機器の場
合は、ほぼ100％に近い使用率である。しかしながら、
機能，性能の向上に供ない、その操作が複雑で、難しく
なってきた。更に、２台以上の機器を統合した複合機器
や、通信手段を用いた制御システム等も提案されてお
り、ますます、その操作が複雑化している。
これらを改善する一つの方法として、コントローラに
接続されたCRT上に制御したい端末名等をグラフィック
で表示し、制御したい端末名をリモコン等で選択すると
選択された端末に対し、制御信号が自動的に送信され、
目的とした機能を実現する方法が提案されている。
発明が解決しようとする課題 従来例で述べた表示機能を利用したマンマシンインタ
ーフェースの場合、制御端末の数だけ、その表示画面を
コントローラ内に保持しておけねばならない。また複雑
な表示画面の表示や、端末のヴァージョンアップ等によ
り、その表示画面の内容を変えたい場合には、その都度
コントローラ内の表示画面を変更しなければならないと
いう不都合があった。
課題を解決するための手段 本発明になるAVTCシステムは、上記した問題点を解決
する為、コントローラ中に、表示部に表示すべき基本画
面を複数種類内蔵しておき、一方、コントローラと共通
の通信路に接続された複数台の端末は、それぞれ自分の
制御に必要な画面情報を保持しておき、上記コントロー
ラからのデータ受信に対し、目的とする画面情報を上記
コントローラ宛に送信する。
作用 以上の如く、表示すべき画面の基本画面と、実際に表
示すべき画面構成に関する情報は、端末側に保持してお
くことによりコントローラに接続された表示部に、表示
すべき画面は、端末側の指示により、その時々の状態に
対応した表示画面や、種々の端末に対応した表示画面を
表示する。
実施例 本発明になるAVTCシステムの一実施例について、図を
用いて更に詳細に説明する。
第１図は、本発明になるAVTCシステムを構成するブロ
ック構成図で、制御部３、入力部２及び表示部４で構成
されるコントローラが、通信制御装置１を介して、共通
の通信路５に接続されている。一方、複数台の端末６〜
ｎも、通信制御装置１を介して、共通の通信路５に接続
されている。コントローラの表示部４には、共通の通信
路５に接続されている全ての端末６〜ｎの名称が第３図
に示すように表示されている。コントローラの入力部２
により、制御したい端末を選択すると、制御部３から、
通信制御装置１を介して、その端末が選択されたという
情報を、該当端末に送信する。その情報を受信した端末
は、現在の自分の状態から判断して、次に表示すべき画
面の画面情報を、通信制御装置１を介して、コントロー
ラ宛に送信する。第２図は表示すべき画面の画面情報の
一例であるが、コントローラ内に保持されている基本画
面を選択する為の番号とか、その基本画面に関する位置
情報とか、基本画面の色等に関する情報を、選択された
端末は、コントローラ宛に送信する。上記した画面情報
の内容，パラメータ数等は、端末により、異なることは
当然である。
端末から送られてきた画面情報を受信したコントロー
ラは、その画面情報に基づいて、保持している１ケある
いは複数個の基本画面を選択し、指定された位置，配色
で、表示部４に表示する。
基本画面には、物体の構成要素である、点，線，三
角，四角，円等はもちろんのこと、αニューメリック，
漢字等も含まれる。
以上のような手続をくり返すことにより、表示画面を
見ながら、端末の操作を行なう。
発明の効果 以上のような構成と作用とにより、コントローラ内部
で、共通の通信路に接続された端末の制御に必要な画面
を保持する必要がなく、また端末のヴァージョンアップ
等により、一部の仕様変更等があった場合でも、端末主
導型の画面表示であるので、端末側の表示画面情報の変
更のみで、容易にシステム変更に対応が可能である。

    (57)【特許請求の範囲】
  1. 【請求項１】制御部，表示部，入力部及び通信制御部か
    ら構成されるコントローラと、通信制御部を具備した複
    数台の末端が、共通の通信路を介して、接続されている
    通信システムにおいて、上記コントローラから、上記端
    末を制御する手段として、上記コントローラの表示部上
    に表示された制御項目及び制御内容を選択して該当端末
    の制御を行なう手段であって、上記コントローラ中に、
    表示部に表示すべき、基本画面を複数種類、内蔵してお
    き、一方共通の通信路に接続された複数台の端末は、そ
    れぞれ自分の制御に必要な画面情報を保持しておき、上
    記コントローラからのデータ受信に対し、目的とする画
    面情報を上記コントローラ宛に送信することにより、コ
    ントローラ側で制御に必要な画面を上記表示部に表示す
    ることを特徴としたAVTCシステム。
  2. 【請求項２】コントローラの表示部として、テレビセッ
    トを使用することを特徴とした特許請求の範囲第１項記
    載のAVTCシステム。
  3. 【請求項３】CRT上では、コントローラ内部であらかじ
    め定められたグラフィックパターンを表示するようにな
    っていることを特徴とする特許請求の範囲第１項または
    第２項記載のAVTCシステム。
