【発明の詳細な説明】 〔産業上の利用分野〕 本発明は、アイスクリーム等の冷菓用容器など冷凍し
て使用する容器の蓋体に関する。 〔従来の技術〕 従来、アイスクリーム等冷菓用容器としては、紙製の
ものが主流であるが、近年、合成樹脂製のものも市販さ
れるようになった。 〔発明が解決しようとする問題点〕 冷菓用容器を合成樹脂で成形する場合、特に問題とな
るのがその蓋体の材質である。冷菓用容器の蓋体として
は、低温下の衝撃強度が高いことと、成形歪みが少ない
ことである。 低温下の衝撃強度の高い材質としてはポリエチレンが
考えられるが、ポリエチレンで蓋体、とりわけ平坦で大
きな面積の蓋体を成形すると成形歪みとしてそりが生
じ、容器本体に嵌合できず使用に耐えない。 これに対し、ハイインパクトスチロールやポリプロピ
レンで蓋体を成形すると、そりがなく平坦で、容器本体
に良好に嵌合できる蓋体とすることができるが、低温
下、とりわけアイスクリームのストッカー(冷凍庫)内
の温度である−35℃付近での衝撃強度が低く、落下等の
衝撃で破損してしまうという問題がある。 そこで、破損しない限りは製品として使用できるポリ
スチロール製を蓋体を冷菓用容器の蓋体としてやむをえ
ず用いているのが現状である。 本発明は、このような問題点に鑑みなされたもので、
そり等の成形歪みがなくしかも低温下での衝撃強度も高
い冷凍容器用蓋体を提供することを目的とする。 〔問題点を解決するための手段〕 本発明は、前記技術的課題を解決するため、次のよう
な技術的手段をとった。 すなわち、本発明は、密度が0.915〜0.935g/cm3であ
る直鎖状の低密度ポリエチレンに、ポリプリロピレンを
混合した成形材料で射出成形法により成形して冷凍容器
用蓋体としたもので、ポリプロピレンの混合比率は全重
量に対して10〜25重量%である。 〔作用〕 前記した低密度ポリエチレンにポリプロピレンを前記
比率で混合したことにより、平坦でそりがなく、しかも
低温下で衝撃強度の高いものができる。 本発明では、密度が0.915〜0.935g/cm3の直鎖状低密
度ポリエチレンを使用する必要があり、それ以外のポリ
エチレンでは良好な結果を得られない。混合すべきポリ
プロピレンは、ブロックコポリマー、ランダムコポリマ
ー、ホモポリマー等、その共重合の態様はどのようなも
のでも良い。 本発明は、表面積が100cm2以上で、厚さが1.0mm以下
で、かつ、平坦な蓋体を成形した場合に最大の効果を発
揮する。 〔実施例〕 以下、本発明の一実施例を図面に基づいて説明する。 第1図に示したように、縦15.7mm、横22.3mmのほぼ長
方形の平坦な蓋体が射出成形法で成形されていて、この
蓋体は、第2図に示したように、下面周囲に容器口縁へ
の嵌合用周壁を有している。この周壁の高さは約10mmで
あり、また周壁部分も含めて、蓋体の肉厚は0.8mmに設
定されている。 このような蓋体を、第1表のように、その材料を種々
変更して成形し、そりの程度、低温落下強度を測定し
た。 この第1表から明らかなように、使用するポリエチレ
ンが直鎖状ポリエチレンで、混合するポリプロピレンの
重量比が10〜25%であるときそりが無く、低温衝撃強度
が高いことが理解できる。 〔発明の効果〕 本発明によれば、そりがなく、平坦で、低温下での衝
撃強度も高い冷凍容器用蓋体とすることができる。
