However, at the time of applying the rust-preventive oil, which is a problem of the present invention, for example, in the case of a section steel such as an H-section steel, each section steel is combined to improve the transport efficiency. Due to the piling, if the amount of rust-preventive oil is large, oil accumulates between the flanges (especially, with water-soluble rust-preventive oil, the evaporation of water is slow and the paste hardens to cause poor degreasing). Therefore, it is necessary to form an oil film thinly and uniformly in a short time.

[0008] Therefore, in view of these facts, in the above-mentioned conventional spraying method (1), there is no technical idea of accelerating the formation of the film of the adhered paint or uniformly applying the film.
Therefore, if the coating is not applied so that the coating is uniform, rust-preventive oil accumulates at the contacting parts of the product, which not only increases the cost, but also causes problems such as oil dropping during transportation.

Further, in the method (3), when the surplus oil is removed by air, the apparatus must be replaced according to the diameter of the pipe. In addition, since the nozzle hole is a circular hole, it is difficult to uniformly remove the surplus adhered oil.

According to the coating method of the present invention, first, the temperature of the steel material is preheated to 30 to 50 ° C, and the surface of the steel material is coated with the water-soluble rust preventive oil at 15 to 70 kg / cm 2. 3kg by spraying part which can be applied to various steel sizes on the surface of steel coated with this water-soluble rust-preventive oil.
By spraying compressed air of / cm 2 or more, excess rust preventive oil is removed and the amount of rust preventive oil applied to the steel surface is made uniform. The surplus rust-preventive oil removed by the compressed air is collected and reused.

First, the temperature of the steel material 3 to be applied is raised to 30 to 50 ° C. in the preheating furnace 4 before spraying the water-soluble rust-preventive oil. When the temperature at the time of this temperature rise is 30 ° C. or less, the effect of evaporating the water content of the water-soluble rust preventive oil is small. Also, if the temperature exceeds 50 ° C., the rust preventive oil may be damaged, and the rust preventive performance is deteriorated.

Next, the preheated steel material 3 is sent to the spraying chamber 5, and when the steel material 3 is detected by a sensor (not shown), the steel material 3 is supplied to the steel material 3 from the nozzle 7 a of the spray gun 7 in the coating booth 8. Rust oil is sprayed at a pressure of 15 to 70 kg / cm 2 and applied. When the rust-preventive oil injection pressure is low, the mist diameter increases, and the cohesive effect generated when the rust-preventive oil collides with the steel material is small, and the rust-preventive oil flows without forming an oil film. Further, if the pressure is high, the mist diameter becomes too small, the scattering of the mist becomes large, and the collection efficiency is poor.

Next, each oil drain nozzle 9 of the oil drain booth 12
By using a pressure air of 3 kg / cm 2 or more, extra rust-preventive oil adhering to the surface of the steel material 3 is removed, and the state of application of the rust-preventive oil to the steel material surface is made uniform. The pressure of the compressed air at this time is set because if it is low, excess rust preventive oil cannot be uniformly removed.

Further, in the case of spray coating and oil coating, when the pressure is increased to a high pressure and expanded at the tip of the spray tip, the temperature rapidly drops, so that the evaporation of moisture is slowed down. The formation of the paint film and the rust-preventive film is fast because the temperature drop of the paint and the rust-preventive oil is compensated and the evaporation of the moisture can be further promoted.

The technical point of the water-soluble rust-preventive oil is how to reduce the evaporation of water which accounts for more than half (usually 70 to 95%) of the water-soluble rust-preventive oil. According to the coating method, the formation of the oily film of the rust preventive oil can be accelerated.

Although it takes 5 days, this method can reduce the time to 2-3 hours. Therefore, the time until the rust prevention performance is exhibited can be reduced, and the oil dripping is small. From these facts, the product (steel material) can be shipped immediately.

Furthermore, it is possible to perform with rust-preventive oil coating to the steel uniformly and thinly, yet in order that can be recovered and reused surplus oil, raw conventional 1/2 to 1/3 As a unit , the cost is low, and since there is no oil pool or oil dripping, there is no dirt or environmental pollution associated with product storage and transportation, and no waste disposal is required.

A coating method for applying a water-soluble rust-preventive oil to a surface of a steel material (steel plate, steel pipe, shaped steel, etc.) immediately after manufacturing to temporarily provide rust prevention. While preheating the temperature to 30 to 50 ° C., the water-soluble rust-preventive oil is applied to the surface of the steel material under a high pressure of 15 to 70 kg / cm 2 , and then the water-soluble rust-preventive oil is applied. Compressed air of 3 kg / cm 2 or more is sprayed onto the surface of the steel material by a spraying part that can be adapted to various steel sizes to remove excess rust-preventive oil and apply rust-preventive oil to the steel surface A method for applying a water-soluble rust preventive oil to a steel material, wherein the amount is made uniform, and the excess rust preventive oil removed by the compressed air is collected and reused.
