Description

【発明の詳細な説明】 〔産業上の利用分野〕 この発明は卓子脚の支持装置に係り、特に卓子脚の倒
伏動作をワンタッチで容易に果さしめ、また卓子脚の倒
伏時に卓子脚を倒伏状態に維持させるとともに卓子脚に
起立時には卓子脚を堅固に起立保持させ、使い勝手を向
上し得て、しかも構成が簡単で、操作性を向上させ得る
卓子脚の支持装置に関する。 〔従来の技術〕 机、テーブル等の卓子は、面板と脚とにより構成され
ている。卓子には、不使用時の便宜のために脚を折畳み
可能に構成したものが種々ある。脚を折畳み可能に構成
した卓子においては、脚と面板とを蝶番あるいはばね付
蝶番によって連結し、さらに脚の起立状態及び脚の倒伏
状態を保持するために脚の起倒機構やロック機構等を備
えたものがある。 〔発明が解決しようとする問題点〕 ところが、従来の卓子においては、脚の起倒機構やロ
ック機構の構成が複雑であり、部品点数が増加し、取扱
いが面倒であるとともに操作性が低下し、また故障が生
じ易く、しかも高価になるという不都合があった。 〔発明の目的〕 そこでこの発明の目的は、上述の不都合を除去すべ
く、付勢機構の付勢力を利用して卓子脚の倒伏時に卓子
脚を倒伏状態に維持させるとともに卓子脚の起立時には
卓子脚をロック機構により起立状態にロックさせること
により、卓子脚の倒伏動作をワンタッチで容易に果さし
め、また卓子脚の倒伏時には卓子脚を倒伏状態に維持さ
せるとともに卓子脚の起立時には卓子脚を堅固に起立保
持させ、更に部品点数を低減して構成の簡単化を図り、
取扱いを簡便に果し得るとともに操作性を向上させ、更
にまた故障の発生を低減し、しかも廉価とし得る卓子脚
の支持装置を実現するにある。 〔問題点を解決するための手段〕 この目的を達成するためにこの発明は、卓子脚を面板
の裏面側に折畳み可能に支持する卓子脚の支持装置にお
いて、離間して配置した一対の卓子脚の夫々基部を連結
する桟を設け、この桟には前記一対の卓子脚を倒伏方向
に付勢する付勢機構としてのばね付蝶番を設け、このば
ね付蝶番は前記桟に固着される支持部材とこの支持部材
に連設されて対峙する一対のばね保持部とこの一対のば
ね保持部間に横架される支持ピンとこの支持ピンに装着
されるコイルばねと前記支持ピンに回動可能に装着され
る連絡部とからなり、前記コイルばねは前記連絡部を前
記面板の裏面から離間する方向に付勢するように一端側
が前記支持部材に当接するとともに他端側が前記連絡部
に当接して設けられ、前記連絡体には操作体の一端側を
取着して設け、この操作体の他端側には前記付勢機構の
付勢力を利用して前記一対の卓子脚の倒伏時に前記一対
の卓子脚を起立状態に維持するとともに前記一対の卓子
脚の起立時には前記一対の卓子脚を起立状態にロックす
るロック機構を設け、このロック機構は、前記操作体の
他端側に倒脚側係止斜面部とこの倒脚側係止斜面部に連
設された突出平坦部とこの突出平坦部に連設された起脚
側係止斜面部とこの起脚側係止斜面部に連設された係止
先端部とを形成するとともに、前記操作体の他端側を挿
通させる挿通空間を形成して前記面板の裏面に固定され
る係止固定体を設け、且つ、この係止固定体には前記操
作体の前記突出平坦部を滑動させるとともに前記操作体
の前記係止先端部を係止させる中央腹部とこの中央腹部
の一端側で前記操作体の前記倒脚側係止斜面部が係止さ
れる倒脚側係止縁部と前記中央腹部の他端側で前記操作
体の前記起脚側係止縁部が係止される起脚側係止縁部と
を形成して構成されたことを特徴とする。 〔作用〕 この発明の構成によれば、起立状態の一対の卓子脚を
倒伏させる際には、操作体を面板の裏面側に押し動作す
ると、操作体の起脚側係止斜面部と係止固定体の起脚側
係止縁部との係止状態及び操作体の係止先端部と係止固
定体の中央腹部と係止状態が夫々解除され、これによ
り、操作体の突出平坦部が係止固定体の中央腹部を滑動
し、一対の卓子脚は、付勢機構のコイルばねの付勢力に
よって自動的に倒伏動作し、そして、操作体の倒脚側係
止斜面部と係止固定体の倒脚側係止縁部とが係止し、よ
って、面板の裏面側に倒伏状態に維持される。また、倒
伏状態の一対の卓子脚を起立させる際には、卓子脚を把
持し、梃子の原理を利用して一対の卓子脚を起立動作す
ると、操作体の倒脚側係止斜面部と係止固定体の倒脚側
係止縁部との係止状態が解除され、そして、終には、操
作体の起脚側係止斜面部と係止固定体の起脚側係止縁部
とが係止するとともに操作体の係止先端部と係止固定体
の中央腹部とが係止し、これにより、一対の卓子脚は、
ロック機構によって堅固にロックされ起立保持される。
この結果、卓子脚の倒伏動作を簡便に果すとともに卓子
脚の倒伏状態を維持させ、また、卓子脚の起立状態を堅
固に保持させ、使い勝手を向上させることができる。ま
た、付勢機構としてばね付蝶番を設け、また、このばね
付蝶番に操作体の一端側を取着し、更に、この操作体の
他端側と係止固定体とによってロック機構を構成するだ
けなので、部品点数を低減し、構成を簡単にし、また、
取扱いを簡便にするとともに操作性の向上を図り、更
に、故障の発生を低減し、しかも、廉価とすることがで
きる。 〔実施例〕 以下図面に基づいてこの発明の実施例を詳細且つ具体
的に説明する。 第1〜10図は、この発明の第1実施例を示すものであ
る。図において、2は卓子である。この卓子2は、面板
4と卓子脚(以下単に「脚」という)6とにより構成さ
れている。 即ち、前記面板4の裏面4aには、脚6−1、6−2、
6−3、6−4が蝶番8−1、8−2、8−3、8−4
によって面板4の中心側である内側方向に折畳み可能に
付設されている。 離間して配置された一対の脚6−1と脚6−2との夫
々基部は桟10−1によって連結され、また、離間して配
置された一対の脚6−3と脚6−4との夫々基部は桟10
−2によって連結されている。 前記桟10−1には、前記脚6−1、6−2を一体的に
倒伏させる方向への付勢力を有し付勢機構12としてばね
付蝶番14を設ける。このばね付蝶番14は、第3、4図に
示す如く、桟10−1に固着手段15、15によって固着され
る支持部材16と、この支持部材16に連設されて対峙する
一対のばね保持部18−1、18−2と、この一対のばね保
持部18−1、18−2間に横架される支持ピン20と、この
支持ピン20に装着されるコイルばね22と、前記支持ピン
20に回動可能に装着された連絡部24とからなる。前記コ
イルばね22は、一端部22aが桟10−1側の支持部材16に
当接するとともに他端部22bが連絡部24の端部に当接し
て配設され、連絡部24を面板4の裏面4aから離間する方
向に付勢する付勢力Pを有している(第3図参照)。 前記連絡部24には、所定長さを有する操作体26の一端
側が第1取着手段27によって取着されている。また、こ
の操作体26の他端側である自由端側には、第5、第7に
示す如くロック機構28を構成する倒脚側係止斜面部30
と、起脚側係止斜面部32とが形成されている。この倒脚
側係止斜面部30と起脚側係止斜面部32とは、第6図に示
す如く、突出平坦部34によって連設され、面板4の裏面
4aに固定された係止固定体36の倒脚側係止縁部38と起脚
側係止縁部40とに夫々係止されるものである。この倒脚
側係止縁部38と起脚側係止縁部40とは、断面U字形状の
係止固定体36の中央腹部36aを一端側と他端側とに形成
される。 この係止固定体36は、所定幅を有する例えば断面U字
形の部材からなり、両側の固着部42−1、42−2が面板
4の裏面4aに第2取着手段43によって固定されている。
詳述すれば、第7図に示す如く、係止固定体36の固着部
42−1には前記操作体26の移動方向と平行に、つまり第
1図において左右方向に指向する取着用長穴42−1a、42
−1bが直列に形成されているとともに、係止固定体36の
固着部42−2には上述の取着用長穴42−1a、42−1bと同
様に、取着用長穴42−2a、42−2bが形成されている。前
記係止固定体36は、第3取着手段である取着用ねじ43−
1a、43−1bを取着用長穴42−1a、42−1bに挿通し且つ面
板4の裏面4aに螺着するとともに取着用ねじ43−2a、43
−2bを取着用長穴42−2a、42−2bに挿通して面板4の裏
面4aに螺着することにより、面板4の裏面に固定される
ものである。前記係止固定体36と面板4の裏面4aとによ
って形成される挿通空間部44には、操作体26の突出平坦
部34が挿通される。また、脚6−1、6−2の起立時に
は、係止固定体36の中央腹部36aに操作体26の係止先端
部26aが係止するものである。 前記係止固定体36の起脚側係止縁部40に接する操作体
26の起脚側係止斜面部32の傾斜角度は、第5、6図に示
す如く、この斜面部32が突出平坦部34と交差する部位を
第1交差部32aとし、係止先端部26aと交差する部位を第
2交差部32bとした場合、支持ピン20の中心から第1交
差部32aまでの距離よりも第2交差部32bまでの距離の方
を僅かに大きく設定し、たとえ脚6−1、6−2に外力
が作用したとしても外れない角度であるとともに、脚6
−1、6−2が揺動した場合でも、この揺動によって起
脚側係止斜面部32と起脚側係止縁部40との間に隙間が生
じた場合は、操作体26を面板4の裏面4aから離間させよ
うとする付勢力Pが作用して、操作体26がこの隙間を小
とする方向に直ちに摺動して、脚6−1、6−2をより
堅固に斜面緊締し固定する角度である。 また、操作体26の倒脚側係止斜面部30は、前述起脚側
係止斜面部32と逆の斜面で突出平坦部34と交差する部位
を第3交差部30aとし、操作体26の突出平坦部34と交差
する部位を第4交差部30bとすると、支持ピン20の中心
から第3交差部30aまでの距離よりも支持ピン20の中心
から第4交差部30bまでの距離が僅かに小さく設定され
ると共に、倒脚時、係止固定体36の倒脚側係止縁部38に
係止した場合、面板4の裏面4aから操作体26を離間させ
ようとする付勢力Pと相俟って面板4の下面に倒脚した
ままの卓子2を持ち上げても、脚6が自重で起脚しない
角度に設定されている。 また、ばね付蝶番14のコイルばね22による面板2の裏
面4aより操作体26を離間させようとする前記付勢力Pは
操作体26を押し動作し、起脚側係止斜面部32と起脚側係
止縁部40との当接を解除した場合、前記付勢力Pによっ
て、直ちに操作体26の突出平坦部34は、係止固定体36の
挿通空間部44を挿通し、スムーズに脚6−1、6−2を
倒伏させ、倒脚完了後は脚6−1、6−2を下面にした
まま持ち上げても、脚6−1、6−2の自重で開動作す
るような事のない付勢力を有している。 また、同様に、前記脚6−3、6−4を折畳み可能に
すべく桟10−2には付勢機構12を設けるとともに、この
付勢機構12に連結してロック機構28を設ける。この付勢
機構12及びロック機構28は上述の桟10−1に装着する場
合と同様に取付けられるので、ここでは詳細な説明を省
略する。 次に、この第1実施例の作用を説明する。 脚6の起立時には、第8図に示す如く、ばね付蝶番14
のコイルばね22の弾発力によって操作体26の自由端側は
ロック機構28によってロックされている。即ち、操作体
26の起脚側係止斜面部32が固定係止体36の起脚側係止縁
部40に係止するとともに、操作体26の係止先端部26aが
固定係止体36の中央腹部36aに所定の隙間を有して押付
けられている。これにより、脚6の起立状態は、堅固に
維持されているので、使用時に卓子2に外力が生じた場
合でも、卓子2が揺動せず、安定性を向上させることが
できる。 そして、起立状態の脚6を倒伏させる際には、第9図
に示す如く、操作体26を面板4の裏面4a側に押し動作す
るだけでよく(白抜きの矢印で示す)、その結果起脚側
係止斜面部32と起脚側係止縁部40との係止状態が解除さ
れる。すると、操作体26がコイルばね22の弾発力によっ
て面板4の裏面4aから離間する方向に強く付勢されてい
るので、脚6が倒伏方向に強く付勢されるとともに突出
平坦部34が係止固定体36の内面を滑動し、脚6の倒伏動
作が果される(第9図の矢印で示す)。次いで、脚6の
自由端側が面板4の裏面4aに略当接する状態になると、
倒脚側係止斜面部30と係止固定体36の倒脚側係止縁部38
とが係止する。このとき、同様に操作体26がコイルばね
22によって面板4の裏面4aから離間する方向に付勢され
ているので、倒脚側係止斜面部30と倒脚側係止縁部38と
の係止状態が堅固になり、倒伏状態が効果的に維持され
る(第10図の矢印で示す)。この結果、脚6の倒伏動作
を、操作体26を押し動作することにより、ワンタッチで
容易に行うことができ、操作性を向上させることができ
る。また、卓子2の搬送時や収納時に、脚6を倒伏状態
で面板4の下方に位置したまま卓子2を持上げても脚6
が徒に起立動作することがないので、取扱いを簡便に果
し得る。 更に、倒伏状態の脚6を起立させる際には、脚6を把
持して起立方向(第10図の1点鎖線で示す)に回動する
と、倒脚側係止斜面部30と倒脚側係止縁部38との係止状
態が解除され、さらに脚6を起立させ略起立状態にする
と(第9図の1点鎖線で示す)、起脚側係止斜面部32と
起脚側係止縁部40とが係止し、つまりロックされて起立
状態が維持される。これにより、脚6の起立状態を堅固
に保持させることができ、使用時における卓子2全体を
堅固なものとし得る(第8図参照)。 また、倒脚側係止斜面部30及び起脚側係止斜面部32の
係止固定体36への係止は、たとえ斜面緊締の効果が低減
した場合においても、係止固定体36を面板4の裏面4aに
固着部42−1及び42−2に操作体26の移動方向と平行に
取着用長穴42−1a、42−1b及び42−2a、42−2bを形成し
て取着ねじ43−1a、43−1b及び43−2a、43−2bによって
ねじ止めしているので、係止固定体36を取外して桟10側
に移動して再度面板4の裏面4aに取付けることにより
(第7図の矢印で示す)、略永久的に脚6の緊締を担保
させることができ、実用上有利である。 更に、断面U字状の係止固定体36を利用することによ
り、組立て作業性を大幅に向上させることができ、また
取扱いを容易とし、しかも廉価に製作することができ
る。 第11〜13図は、この発明の第2実施例を示すものであ
る。以下の実施例においては、上述の第1実施例と同一
機能を果す箇所には同一符号を付して説明する。 この第2実施例の特徴とするところは、以下の点にあ
る。即ち、操作体26の面板4側の面には、操作体26を面
板4の裏面4aから離間する方向に付勢すべく面板4の裏
面4aに摺動部52aを有する板ばね等の押圧体52が取着具5
4によって付設し、脚6に外力が作用した場合にでも、
ロック機構28が徒に解除されない構成とした。また、押
圧体52とコイルばね22との押圧力は、少なくとも脚6の
倒伏時に、脚6を下方にして面板4を持ち上げた場合で
も脚6の起立動作が阻止される押圧力である。 この第2実施例の構成によれば、押圧体52の押圧力に
より、脚6の起立時には、第11図に示す如く、起立側係
止斜面部32と起脚側係止縁部40とを堅固に係止させ、ま
た、脚6の倒伏動作時には、第12図に示す如く、操作体
26の弾発力を大きくして脚6の倒伏動作を速やかに行わ
せ、更に脚6の倒伏時には、第13図に示す如く、倒伏側
係止斜面部30と倒伏側係止縁部38とを堅固に係止させ
る。これにより、脚6の起立・倒伏状態をさらに確実な
ものとし、信頼性を向上させることができる。また、脚
6の倒伏動作を迅速に果し得て、使用し易くなる。 また、押圧体52はばね付蝶番14の付勢力を大きくする
ので、操作体26の長さが大なる場合でも、起立・倒伏状
態を確実に維持する付勢力を担保し得る。 なお、押圧体52を面板4の裏面4aに取付具54で取付
け、摺動部52aを操作体26に当接し摺動自在に設定して
も同様の効果を得ることは勿論である。 第14、15図は、この発明の第3実施例を示すものであ
る。 この第3実施例の特徴とするところは、以下の点にあ
る。即ち、桟10に固着するばね付蝶番14を面板4の縁部
4b側に配設するとともに、ロック機構28を面板4の裏面
4aの縁部4bに設ける。また、前記ばね付蝶番14は、脚6
を倒伏させる方向への付勢力を有している。 この第3実施例の構成によれば、脚6の倒伏操作を面
板4の縁部4bで行うことができるので、操作性の向上を
図り、使い勝手を向上させ得る。 第16、17図は、この発明の第4実施例を示すものであ
る。 この第4実施例の特徴とするところは、以下の点にあ
る。即ち、桟10に固着するばね付蝶番14を面板4の縁部
4b側に配設するとともに、ロック機構28を面板4の裏面
4aに穿設した係止穴62とこの係止穴62に係合・離脱する
係止突部64とにより構成する。また、ばね付蝶番14は、
脚6を倒伏させる方向に付勢するとともに、操作体26の
自由端側を面板4の裏面4a側に付勢している。なお、符
号66は、操作体26の把持部である。 この第4実施例の構成によれば、ロック機構28の構成
が簡単となり、製作、組付けを容易に果し得て、しかも
廉価とし得る。 なお、この発明は上述の実施例に限定されず、種々応
用改変が可能であることは勿論である。 例えば、第18図に示す如く、操作体26の突出先端部26
aの裏面4a側にスプリング72の一端側を固着し、またこ
のスプリング72の他端側を面板4の裏面4a上で摺動可能
に取付けることも可能である。この構成によれば、スプ
リング72の付勢力によって脚6の起立・倒伏状態を確実
に果すとともに、構成が簡単となり、廉価に構成し得
る。 なお、ばね付蝶番14のコイルばね22による付勢力P
は、ばね付蝶番に限定されるものではなく、板ばね等の
弾発体を付勢機構として使用することも可能である。 〔発明の効果〕 以上詳細な説明から明らかなようにこの発明によれ
ば、離間して配置した一対の卓子脚の夫々基部を連結す
る桟を設け、桟には一対の卓子脚を倒伏方向に付勢する
付勢機構としてのばね付蝶番を設け、ばね付蝶番は桟に
固着される支持部材と支持部材に連設されて対峙する一
対のばね保持部と一対のばね保持部間に横架される支持
ピンと支持ピンに装着されるコイルばねと支持ピンに回
動可能に装着される連絡部とからなり、コイルばねは連
絡部を面板の裏面から離間する方向に付勢するように一
端側が支持部材に当接するとともに他端側が連絡部に当
接して設けられ、連絡体には操作体の一端側を取着して
設け、操作体の他端側には付勢機構の付勢力を利用して
