As described above, a steel end tab is conventionally used as the end tab. However, in this steel end tab construction method, since the end tab is made of steel, the end tab is welded to a base steel material by welding. Therefore, complicated work such as cutting and removing both ends of the welding wire after welding and polishing the ends was required. For this reason, instead of steel end tabs, solid flux end tabs with solidified flux and fired ceramic end tabs have been developed to avoid complicated work after welding and can be used many times. It has become possible.

FIG. 3 is a perspective view of a tabbed backing plate in which the backing plate and the welding end tab according to the present invention are integrated. FIG.
As shown in FIG. 1, a backing plate 8 with tabs having an integrated structure in which welding end tab portions 7 are provided on both sides of the backing plate 4 is formed.
In addition, the welding end tab portion 7 is formed to have a divergent shape in which the front surface is enlarged by changing the longitudinal length H, and the height h is increased.
Is molded in such a manner as to increase toward the front. Therefore, for example, H is given a difference of about 5 to 6 mm, and h is similarly made 3 to 5 mm higher.

FIG. 4 is a view showing a state in which a welding base metal that has been grooved is welded to the backing plate with tabs according to the present invention. FIG.
As shown in Fig. 7, a steel sheet 1 as a welding base material having a groove 5 was set on a backing plate with tabs, and overlay welding was performed on the groove processed portion. In addition, in order to obtain the strength of the welded portion, the overlay welding is performed so as to be higher in the welded direction than the thickness of the steel plate 1 serving as the welding base material, and the welds on both sides of the steel plate 1 are wider and wider than the width of the steel plate 1. In particular, the strength of the welded portion can be increased to be equal to or greater than that of the base metal by making the welded portion wider than the width of the steel plate and thicker.

As shown in FIG. 4, both ends of the butt welding scheduled line were fixed using jigs. After that, build-up welding is performed using a gas arc welding wire, and as described above, the strength is ensured by welding the welded part of the steel material thicker than the plate thickness and wider than the welded part. Was completed. After welding, the tabbed backing plate was left as it was, and the overall strength was increased. Further, the tabbed backing plate according to the present invention can extremely easily produce a tabbed backing plate according to various plate thicknesses, shapes, and plate widths by heating a steel bar at a high temperature and pressing. In addition, since casting, bending, ceramic molding, etc. can also be manufactured, it can be used for welding joints according to various plate thicknesses, etc., and completely eliminates the bubbles of defects included in the conventional end tabs at both ends. However, it can be applied to all welding joints using end tabs such as butt welding, fillet joints and lap joints.

As described above, by using the backing plate with tabs according to the present invention, there is no need to prepare, attach, or remove and finish after welding at each end of the welding line. In addition, the strength of the weld can be kept high. In addition, since a backing plate with tabs according to various plate thicknesses, shapes, and plate widths can be extremely easily manufactured, an excellent effect that can be applied to all welded joints can be obtained.
