取付脚２ａを介して取付けるルーフレールの取付構造で
あって、前記取付脚２ａを、レール本体の取付部３と、
前記ルーフパネルＰＡに固定する固定壁６及び該固定壁
６の車幅方向内方側端部から立ち上がる縦壁７とをも
ち、車幅方向外方側及び上方側が開口する取付空所Ｓを
設けた固定部４とから形成する一方、前記固定壁６の側
端面に重合する端縁５１と前記縦壁７の上端面に重合す
る端縁５２とをもち、前記取付脚２ａの取付空所Ｓにお
ける車幅方向外方側側面から上面を一体に覆うカバー５
を形成すると共に、このカバー５における裏面の車幅方
向中央部に止め具を設けて、該カバー５を前記取付脚に
止め具を介して固定したことを特徴とする自動車におけ
