【考案の詳細な説明】
【０００１】
【産業上の利用分野】この考案は、使い捨ておむつに関
する。
【０００２】
【従来の技術】従来、使い捨ておむつの脚周りから体液
が漏れるのを防止するために、おむつ両側において、両
端縁間に延在し、おむつ表面側への起立性向を有するフ
ラップを設ける技術が知られている。例えば、米国特許
第４，７０４，１１６号公報には、透液性表面シートの
一部を両端縁間にわたって折曲してスリーブ状につく
り、その長手方向に伸長下の弾性部材を貼着することに
よりスリーブ状部分に起立性向を持たせて前記フラップ
とする技術が開示されている。また、特開昭６３−１０
５１０２号および同６３−１１２７０３号公報には、お
むつ本体の縦寸法と同じ縦長のスリーブ状部材を別体に
用意し、これをおむつ表面シート上に貼着して前記フラ
ップとする技術が開示されている。これらのスリーブ状
部分および部材が表面シートのごとき透液性シートから
なる場合には、それを撥水処理することにより体液が透
過して漏れないようにすることがある。

【考案が解決しようとする課題】前記起立性向を有する
フラップは、股下部を中心にその前後にあれば目的を達
成することができる。しかるに、前記公知技術によれ
ば、スリーブ状部分が胴周り端縁間に延在し、それら端
縁近傍では倒伏して表面シートに貼着してあるから、端
縁近傍がかさ張ったり、こわ張ったりして着用感を損な
うという問題がある。
【０００４】そこで、この考案は、吸収体の両側縁から
外方へ延出するシート部分において、股下部を中心とす
る所要範囲にのみ起立可能なフラップを設けることによ
り、体液漏れ防止効果を損なうことなく前記問題を解決
することを課題にしている。

【課題を解決するための手段】前記課題を解決するため
にこの考案が手段とするところは、以下のとおりであ
る。
【０００６】この考案においては、透液性表面シートと
不透液性裏面シートとの間に吸収体が介在し、前記吸収
体の側縁から第１フラップが外方へ延出して形成され、
その外側縁近傍においてその縦方向へ収縮する第１弾性
部材が配置され、前記吸収体の側縁と前記第１弾性部材
との間における前記第１フラップ部分が上方へほぼ逆Ｕ
字状またはほぼΩ字状に折曲***されて第２フラップが
形成され、その頂部内に沿ってその縦方向へ収縮する第
２弾性部材が介在し、その互いに対向する部分が接合し
ている使い捨ておむつの改良に係わる。
【０００７】この考案は、前記構成において、前記第２
フラップは、記第１フラップの縦方向両端部を適宜寸法
だけ残しほぼ半月形状を呈してその縦方向へ延在し、前
記頂 部である弦と、該弦の縦方向両端を結ぶ円弧状基部
とから画成されていて、その両端部からその中央部へ向
かって次第に高くなっていることを特徴としている。

【実施例】この考案に係る使い捨ておむつの詳細を添付
の図に基づいて説明すると、以下のとおりである。
【０００９】図１，２は、使い捨ておむつ１の斜視図
と、そのＡ−Ａ線断面であって、特に図１では、おむつ
１が後記弾性部材１３，１８の収縮により表面側に湾曲
している状態を示す。おむつ１は、透液性表面シート２
と不透液性裏面シート３との間に吸収体４が介在し、吸
収体４の側縁５から外方に延出した表裏面シート２，３
が横方向の第１フラップ６と、第１フラップ６の内側に
あって、おむつ１表面側に起立可能な第２フラップ７と
を形成している。おむつ１は、前後身頃１０，１１と、
これら両身頃間の股下部１２とを有している。第１フラ
ップ６には、股下部１２を中心に前後身頃１０，１１の
縦方向へ収縮する脚周り用弾性部材１３が配置され、前
後身頃１０，１１には端縁１５，１６に沿って胴周り方
向へ収縮する弾性部材１５Ａ，１６Ａが配置され、これ
ら弾性部材１３，１５Ａ，１６Ａが表裏面シート２，３
間において、伸長下にいずれか一方のシートに貼着して
ある。第２フラップ７では、頂部１７に沿って裏面シー
ト３の裏面側に弾性部材１８が伸長下に接着してある。
後身頃１１の両側縁にはテープファスナ２０の一端が固
着してある。
【００１０】第２フラップ７は、ほぼ半月形状を呈し、
股下部１２を中心に前後身頃１０，１１の縦方向に両端
縁１５，１６から３０ｍｍ以上内側の所要範囲に設けて
あり、両端２１，２２と、弾性部材１８の収縮下にこれ
ら両端を直線状に結ぶ頂部１７と、円弧状に結ぶ基部１
９とを有する。両端２１，２２は、弾性部材１８の両端
１８Ａ，１８Ｂが裏面シート３に貼着してある部位と実
質的に一致している。頂部１７では、弾性部材１８を折
曲基線にしてその左右の表裏面シート２，３が裏面方向
に折曲してあり、折曲によって互いに対向する裏面シー
ト３が間欠的に接合してある。第２フラップ７は、弾性
部材１８の収縮に伴い、基部１９に沿っておむつ表面か
ら起立可能で、頂部１７と基部１９との間の距離は、起
立したときの高さＨである。
【００１１】このような第２フラップ７を得るには、吸
収体４の側縁と弾性部材１８との間の第２フラップ７部
分における、弾性緊張状態の裏面シート３の裏面に弾性
部材１８を伸長下に貼着したのち、弾性部材１８を適宜
量だけ収縮させておむつ１が弧を描いてたるみ、湾曲状
態となる一方、弾性部材１８がほぼ半月形状の弦となる
ようにする。次に、そのたるみを利用し、弾性部材１８
を頂部に、両端１８Ａ，１８Ｂ間において、左右両側の
表裏面シート２，３を幅ｈ（図示せず）だけ裏面方向に
二つ折りにし、すなわち、前記第１フラップ部分を上方
へほぼＵ字状またはほぼΩ字状に折曲***し、それによ
って対向する裏面シート３を互いに接合する。表裏面シ
ート２，３を二つ折りにする左右の幅方向の寸法ｈと
は、第２フラップの高さＨに等しい値であって、寸法ｈ
により頂部１７に対する基部１９の位置が定まる。寸法
ｈは、両端１８Ａ，１８Ｂに始まり、股下部１２の中央
域で最も大きくなるように変化させる。このようにする
ことで、湾曲状態のおむつ１において、表面に起立可能
な第２フラップ７を形成し、その第２フラップ７の高さ
を股下部中央域において最も高く、前後身頃１０，１１
の縦方向に向かうにつれて低くすることができる。な
お、おむつ１を縦方向に緊張し、平坦にすると第２フラ
ップ７は表面シート２上に倒伏する。
【００１２】図３の（Ａ）と（Ｂ）とは、図２とは異な
る態様の第２フラップ７を示すおむつ１の断面図であ
る。（Ａ）においては、弾性部材１８が表裏面シート間
にあり、少なくともいずれか一方のシート２，３に間欠
的に貼着してある。（Ｂ）においては、表面シート２の
幅が狭く、左右の第２フラップ７の内側で終っており、
第２フラップ７が裏面シート３のみで構成してある。こ
のように第２フラップ７は、表裏面シート２，３の大小
によって、いずれか一方のシートのみで構成することが
できる。また、図示例では、第２フラップ７において対
向する裏面シート３を密に接触させて描いてあるが、基
部１９寄りでは間欠的な接合の間隔をあけて、それら左
右の裏面シート３が末広がりに広がるようにすることが
できる。
【００１３】なお、図１において、おむつ１は、表裏面
シート２，３が吸収体４の周縁から延出する外周部分に
おいて水密に接合してある。裏面シート２には不織布や
開孔プラスチックフィルム、裏面シート３にはプラスチ
ックフィルム、吸収体４には粉砕パルプや粉砕パルプと
高吸水性ポリマーとの混合物などを使用することができ
る。おむつ１における接着や接合には、ホットメルト接
着剤を含む接着剤や粘着剤、ヒートシールの技術などを
利用することができる。

【考案の効果】この考案に係るおむつでは、股下部を中
心に縦方向の所要範囲にのみ表面側へ起立可能な第２フ
ラップが設けてあり、しかも、この第２フラップは、体
液***が集中している股下部中央域でその高さが最も高
くなるようにしてあるから、胴周り端縁近傍がフラップ
の存在によりかさ張ったり、こわ張ったりすることがな
くて着用感がよい。
【００１５】第２フラップは、ほぼ半月形状を呈し、そ
の円弧状部が基部に位置しているから、これが一体的に
位置する第１フラップが第１および第２弾性部材の収縮
作用によらずとも着用者の身体側へ湾曲した状態を常に
保持するとともに、それら弾性部材の収縮作用を容易に
して着用者の股下に密着し易いように機能する。したが
って、おむつの着用者の股下に対するフィット性が向上
し、前記高さと相まって***物の漏れを防止するのに有
効である。

    (57)【実用新案登録請求の範囲】
  1. 【請求項１】透液性表面シートと不透液性裏面シートと
    の間に吸収体が介在し、前記吸収体の側縁から第１フラ
    ップが外方へ延出して形成され、その外側縁近傍におい
    てその縦方向へ収縮する第１弾性部材が配置され、前記
    吸収体の側縁と前記第１弾性部材との間における前記第
    １フラップ部分が上方へほぼ逆Ｕ字状またはほぼΩ字状
    に折曲***されて第２フラップが形成され、その頂部内
    に沿ってその縦方向へ収縮する第２弾性部材が介在し、
    その互いに対向する部分が接合している使い捨ておむつ
    において、 前記第２フラップは、前記第１フラップの縦方向両端部
    を適宜寸法だけ残しほぼ半月形状を呈してその縦方向へ
    延在し、前記頂部である弦と、該弦の縦方向両端を結ぶ
    円弧状基部とから画成されていて、その両端部からその
    中央部へ向かって次第に高くなっている ことを特徴とす
    る前記おむつ。
