2. Description of the Related Art A surface fastener is generally composed of a male surface and a female surface, but a so-called homo-type in which male surfaces having a stem with a mushroom as an engaging portion are combined. Hook-and-loop fasteners are also used. Conventionally, the male surface for this homo-type hook-and-loop fastener has been molded by resin molding with a stem with a mushroom as an engaging portion and a base portion from which the stem extends. It was not possible and productivity was low.

Means for Solving the Problems The present inventors have sought to develop a highly productive homo-type hook-and-loop fastener, and have continued intensive research focusing on the use of a fibrous material capable of producing long objects. As a result, when the stems with mushrooms implanted on the base material were independent, the engaging force was weak and not suitable as a male surface for homotype, but the planting was performed at a very high density to increase the engaging force. Considering that it is difficult to install, the heads of a plurality of stems are welded together to form a mushroom, and surprisingly, it has been found that a moderate engaging property can be imparted as a male surface for homotyping. The present invention has been completed. That is, the present invention is a male surface for a hook-and-loop fastener using a fiber material, and the head portion of the thermoplastic resin monofilament planted on the base fabric is welded together for every plural pieces to form a mushroom shape. It is intended to provide a male surface for a male-male homo-type hook-and-loop fastener and a male-male homo-type hook-and-loop fastener having at least one of the male surfaces as a male surface.

Referring to FIGS. 1 and 2, conventionally, a male surface for a hook-and-loop fastener is an engagement portion regardless of whether it is a male-male type or a male-female type, or a hook type or a mushroom type. The stem (1) to be formed was provided independently on the base (2). When the monofilaments are provided in this manner, even if they are engaged in a male-male combination as shown in FIG. 2, each one is weak, and the engaging force required as a homo-type male surface cannot be obtained. On the other hand, in the male surface for the hook-and-loop fastener of the present invention, as shown in FIGS.
The monofilament (3) implanted above is characterized in that the head mushrooms are integrally welded for every plural pieces. By welding a plurality of wires in this way,
At the time of engagement, these plural pieces behave as the minimum unit, and FIG.
As compared with the case where the monofilaments are independently provided as in the type shown in FIG. 2, the "strength" is improved, and as a result, an appropriate engaging force is obtained as a homo-type. Furthermore, even if there are a plurality, the moderate "deflection" which was not seen on the conventional male-type male surface of resin integrated molding due to the material used.
Or "flexibility". As used herein, the term "welded together" refers not only to the case where all of a plurality of mushrooms are welded together, but also to a certain mushroom as shown in FIGS. The case where another mushroom is connected via another mushroom is also included. In other words, it suffices if the unit is integrated to the extent that a plurality of units can enter the gap of the mating male surface as a unit and engage with each other.

[0006] The number of monofilaments to be integrally welded is usually 2 to 9, and the entire male surface may have the same number or different numbers. The thickness of one monofilament is 250 denier to 1300 denier. This is because with these numbers and thicknesses, an appropriate “flexure” and engagement force can be obtained. Also,
The distance between the monofilaments to be welded together is
Usually, it is in the range of 1 mm to 1.5 mm. This is because, at this interval, welding can be performed integrally, and there is no problem in weaving a monofilament having a thickness in the above range into the base fabric. The manner in which the monofilaments are planted on the base fabric is not particularly limited, but it is preferable to collect and plant the plurality of monofilaments as shown in FIG. In this case, for example, there is a mode in which a plurality of plants are planted through one hole of the base cloth, or those are dispersed and planted through a plurality of adjacent holes.

Next, as the material of the monofilament,
A thermoplastic resin is used because it is thermally welded during manufacturing.
The type of the thermoplastic resin is not particularly limited,
From the viewpoint of ease of providing the mushroom shape and ease of integral welding, polypropylene and nylon are preferred, and polypropylene is more preferred. The type of the base fabric on which the monofilament is to be implanted is not particularly limited, and for example, a double woven fabric using polyester, nylon, or polypropylene woven fabric can be used. The thickness of the base fabric is preferably 2 to 5 mm.

[0008] The male surface for a homo-type hook-and-loop fastener of the present invention is obtained by weaving a monofilament into two substrates by a so-called binding double weaving method, cutting the monofilament between the substrates, and then heating the tip of the monofilament. It can be manufactured by melting not only in a somewhat excessive manner, but also by giving a mushroom shape to the head of each monofilament, and by further welding together the heads of a plurality of adjacent monofilaments. The heating temperature is generally in the range of 500 to 600 ° C. in consideration of the ease of providing the mushroom shape and the ease of integral welding. As described above, since the male surface of the present invention is manufactured using a fiber-based material, a long object can be produced, and the productivity is superior to that of the conventional male surface of an integrated resin molding.

The male surface of the present invention thus obtained is cut as it is, or cut into various sizes, and combined with each other to form a homo-type surface fastener, or a homo-type with a mushroom-type male surface not according to the present invention. You can also. Such a homo-type hook-and-loop fastener is also within the scope of the present invention. The homo-type hook-and-loop fastener of the present invention can be suitably used, for example, as a building material, for mounting ceiling materials and flooring materials, for mounting decorative articles on wall surfaces, or for fixing various components in a car. In use, the engagement does not occur immediately because the two surfaces are in contact with each other, and the positioning operation can be easily performed. In addition, since the engagement portion has an appropriate "flexure" and the engagement is performed at random, a light engagement can be obtained, and the engagement can be smoothly released for another use.
