機の定着制御方法に関する。

出力するが、その出力を定着ローラの温度とみなしてこ
れによりヒータ3を点滅して定着ローラ1の温度制御を
行なう。定着ローラの温度制御の一つに定着性保証温度
制御がある。これは、機械の高速化と省電力化の要求に
対処するためのものである。定着性を保証するための定
着ローラの温度を定着性保証温度とし、定着ローラの温
度が低下してその温度迄下ると機械を停止しウォームア
ップ状態とするか、あるいはコピースピードを落して定
着ローラの温度低下を防止するなど、機械独自の制御が
行なわれる。

ミスタの出力が同じであってもローラの温度が異なる場
合が生ずる。

とコピー枚数の関係を示す図で、ウォームアップにより
A部の温度がT1になった後、連続コピー枚数がN0枚にな
った時、A部の温度がT2になることを示している。又、
第4図は、ウォームアップ後待機状態の時の時間経過と
A部の温度変化との関係を示す図であり、電源投入後t0
時間でA部の温度がT2に飽和することを示している。

力はR2に減少する。従来は雰囲気温度の変化にかゝわら
ず、R1又はR2のいずれか一方のみで定着性保証温度を代
用させていた。そこで、A部の温度が充分上ったT2の時
に定着ローラが定着保証温度TQなるサーミスタ出力R2
常に定着性保証温度を代用させた場合は、A部の温度が
T1にしか上っていない時はサーミスタ出力がR2のときは
定着ローラはTQより高いTQ2になっており、これで制御
する場合はまだ定着性があるにも拘らず機械を止めた
り、ウォームアップをすることになりムダを生ずる。逆
に、A部の温度がT1のときに定着ローラ温度がTQになる
サーミスタ出力R1で常に定着性保証温度を代用させた場
合は、A部の温度がT2に上った状態でサーミスタ出力が
R1になって時には定着ローラの温度はTQより低いTQ1
なっており、定着不良を生ずる可能性を生ずる。

0」は、メインスイッチオン後設定値N0枚コピーがなさ
れたか否かの判断である。CCOPY<N0なら、定着性保証
温度はサーミスタの抵抗値でR1にセットされる。「RCON
T0←R1」はこのことを示している。CCOPY≧N0なら、R2
にセットされる。「RCONT0←R2」はこのことを示してい
る。この値をそれぞれ定着性保証温度として制御が行な
われ、給紙制御が行なわれる。給紙制御部では1枚給紙
される毎にコピーカウンタ(CCOPY)が1つずつカウン
トアップされる。
