An object of the present invention is to provide a means for mass-producing corner cushions for a strong packing box at a low cost by using a lightweight thin plate material such as cardboard. In recent years, even relatively heavy machinery and instruments are often packed in cardboard packaging boxes. At this time, a corner buffer is used together with the package to protect the four corners of the box from external force. In recent years, a styrofoam molded article having excellent moldability and cushioning properties has been almost entirely used as such a corner buffer. However, since the used Styrofoam shock absorber occupies a large part of the waste pollution source, an alternative is required. On the other hand, a corner buffer formed by bending a corrugated cardboard has been often used in the past. However, conventional corner shock absorbers that use cardboard as a material have low strength, so they are used as mere pawls when storing lightweight products in boxes.
It is said to be unsuitable for packing heavy machinery. This invention makes it possible to provide a corner cushioning device which is necessary and sufficient in strength for packing heavy machinery, is high in mass productivity, and is lower in cost than a styrofoam molded product.

DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS The present invention will be described below with reference to an embodiment shown in the drawings. The corner shock absorber for a packing box according to the present invention includes a back plate 1, triangular plates 2a and 2b, cheek plates 3a and 3b, and an impact plate. 4a, 4b and claw plates 5a, 5b, 6a, 6b are integrally provided. The back plate 1, the cheek plates 3a and 3b, and the striking plates 4a and 4b each have a rectangular shape. The shape of the claw plates 5a, 5b, 6a, 6b is preferably a right quadrangle as shown in the illustrated example, but other shapes may be used as long as the following other conditions are satisfied. The shapes of the triangular plates 2a and 2b are right-angled isosceles triangles. According to the invention, the triangular plates 2a, 2b are respectively connected to their bevels via folds. The aforementioned fold is indicated by a dotted line in FIG.
Each of the cheek plates 3a and 3b has the entire left edge or right edge thereof connected to the entire left edge or right edge of the backboard 1 through a fold. The striking plates 4a, 4b are connected to the left or right edges of the cheek plates 3a, 3b, respectively, on the side not connected to the back plate 1 via a fold. However, this connection is made while leaving a thickness margin s corresponding to the thickness of the material plate at both ends. The claw plates 5a, 5b, 6a, 6b are connected to the respective orthogonal edges of the corresponding triangular plates 2a or 2b via folds, leaving the plate thickness margins at both ends. In this case,
The width l of the cheek plates 3a, 3b and the total length m of the orthogonal edges of the triangular plates 2a, 2b are equal to each other, and the claw plates 4a, 3b
The width g of 4b and the height h of the triangular plates 2a, 2b must be equal to each other. Next, referring to FIG. 4, the present invention raises the triangular plates 2a and 2b perpendicularly to the back plate 1 as shown in the drawing, and the claw plates 5a, 5b, 6a and 6b respectively correspond to the corresponding triangular plates 2a and 2b. , Refracted inwardly and perpendicularly to each other, in the vicinity of each apex of the triangular plates 2a, 2b, a pair of side edges 51a, 52a, and 61a of the claw plates 5a, 5b and 6a, 6b facing each other. 6
A hollow right-angled triangular prism as shown in FIG. 1 is formed by being inserted into the gaps d 1 and d 2 formed between 1b. However, in FIG. 1, the ridge line formed by the refraction at the fold is indicated by a broken line. In FIG. 1, an adhesive tape T drawn with a chain line is used to remove a gap t which is likely to be generated between the edges of the cheek plates 3 a and 3 b in the assembled corner buffer. When pressure is applied to the back plate 1 in the illustrated use state, the gap t is eliminated, and thus the application of the adhesive tape is not essential in the present invention. That is, the present invention is as described above, and a pair of impact plates 4a, 4b are inserted between opposing side edges of the pair of claw plates 5a, 5b and 6a, 6b in the assembling process shown in FIG. As a result, the impact plates 4a and 4b exist in the hollow portion of the right-angled triangular prism of the completed product shown in FIG. 1 or FIG.
As described above, the width l of the cheek plates 3a, 3b and the triangular plate 2a,
2b that the total length m of each orthogonal edge is equal to each other, that the width g of the striking plates 4a and 4b and the height h of each of the triangular plates 2a and 2b are equal to each other, and that each cheek plate corresponds to the striking plate. The connection portion, and the connection portion between each of the triangular plates and the corresponding claw plate is provided with the above-mentioned thickness margin, so that an accurate right-angled triangular prism having a shape during assembly is formed, A reinforcing wall is formed inside the columnar outer shell by the striking plate. Then, when using the assembled corner shock absorber, the surface pressure received by the back plate is distributed over a wide area of the corner of the packaging container by each cheek plate and a pair of striking plates which now serve as reinforcing walls. Is transmitted. further,
Even when the triangular plate is subjected to surface pressure, the triangular plate is supported not only by the back plate but also by the striking plate, so that it is not easily broken by refraction. Further, according to the present invention, the developed product of this product as illustrated in FIG. 3 can be easily mass-produced by press punching work, creased at the same time as punching, assembly is performed manually, and simple folding is performed. Use of a tatami machine is possible. Further, as the material of this product, various thin plate materials can be used as long as they have some elasticity and tensile strength.

According to the present invention, it is possible to provide a corner shock absorber comprising a hollow right-angled triangular prism having a reinforcing wall in a hollow portion using only a lightweight thin plate material such as cardboard as a sole material. In addition, the device of the present invention has a reinforcing wall integral with the outer shell in the hollow portion, so that the device is suitable for packing heavy machinery. In addition, this invented product has low costs for both punching and folding work of inexpensive thin sheet materials such as corrugated cardboard, and if they are of the same size, compared to the corner cushions of styrene foam molded products that are currently most frequently used. The total cost is as low as less than half the cost of the latter. Styrofoam molded products as packing materials constitute a large part of industrial waste pollution, whereas this invented product made of cardboard is easy to incinerate after use and is naturally decomposed by soil bacteria, etc. Dissemination of this product is extremely effective in preventing waste pollution.
