て、スイングカッタ7による紙の中央部における切れ目
と相対する位置に配置されている。よって旧スプール
3′に所要量巻取られた時、空スプール3は待機位置に
て図示しない加速装置にて紙と同一の周速に加速されて
プライマリアーム4により送り出され、リールドラム2
に接触する。これと同時にグースネック5より吹出され
るエアジェットは同時に入れられたカッタ7による切れ
目より紙とリールドラム2の外周面との間に入り、紙の
全幅を切断する(第3図参照)。この後紙は新スプール
3に巻取られる。
