However, in the connecting head structure having the above structure, the pressure receiving wall portion 14 is provided with a constant steep surface 1.
Since the structure is only 4 ', the mechanical strength in the vicinity of the lower part of the neck of the connection head 12 is not sufficient, and an unreasonable connection when vibration due to engine vibration during use or the bending shape as a product is defective. Therefore, there is a problem that a crack or a breakage is often generated in the vicinity of the lower part of the neck, and the one in which the sleeve washer 17 is abutted and fitted still has the same problem as described above.

In order to solve such a problem, the applicant of the present invention has proposed a high-pressure fuel injection pipe, which is continuous with the steep slope of the pressure receiving surface of the connecting head and integrally provided with a gentle slope, as Japanese Utility Model Publication No. 57-156074. This proposal was found to be effective to some extent in increasing the mechanical strength in the vicinity of the lower neck, but even with this configuration, fatigue stress could not be dispersed or stress concentration could be observed in a specific range. Therefore, further improvement was required. The present inventor, based on such a request, as a result of an experiment, as a result, if the inclination angle and the length of the gentle slope are within a certain range, there is no possibility of causing the above problem, and the concentration of fatigue stress is effectively reduced. They have found that they can be dispersed and have completed the present invention. Therefore, it is an object of the present invention to provide not only the above-mentioned conventional technique but also a connection head structure for a high-pressure fuel injection pipe which solves the problems of the above-mentioned proposal by the present applicant.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION According to the present invention, the front and outer peripheral sides are a pressing wall portion against a mating connection seat surface, and the rear outer peripheral side is a pressure receiving wall portion that engages with a tightened nut. In a connecting head made of abacus beads that is bulged and molded at the connecting end of a metal tube of diameter, it is connected to a steep slope from the top on the pressure receiving wall side that has an angle substantially equal to the pressing wall made by the connecting head. The skirt portion is integrally connected so as to form a gentle slope having an inclination angle within the range of 2 ° to 5 ° with respect to the pipe axis and having a length substantially equal to or larger than the pipe diameter. This is the summary.

In the present invention, the pressure receiving wall portion having an angle substantially equal to that of the pressing wall portion is formed on the connection head on the steep slope from the top, and the skirt has an inclination angle of 2 ° to 5 ° with respect to the pipe axis. In the range of °, a gentle slope with a length equal to or larger than the pipe diameter is connected in series, so that the connection head can be molded simultaneously, which facilitates manufacturing, and is in a vibrating state during use or under an excessive mounting state. However, it is possible to disperse the fatigue stress applied to the vicinity of the lower part of the neck, and it is possible to reduce the weight of the product without using a sleeve washer and to simplify the manufacturing work.

FIG. 1 is a partially cutaway side view showing an embodiment of the connecting head structure of the present invention. In the figure, 1 is a metal tube having an inner diameter of about 1.2 m / m to 4 m / m and an outer diameter of about 20 m / m or less, which is a relatively thick and thin metal tube, and 2 is provided at the end of the metal tube 1. On the outer peripheral side of the front surface, a pressing wall portion 3 abutting against the mating connection seating surface and on the outer peripheral side of the rear surface a pressure receiving wall portion 4 engaging with a tightening nut 6 previously assembled in the metal tube 1 are bulging-molded. It is a connecting head having an abacus shape in which the angle between the pressing wall portion and the pressure receiving wall portion is substantially equalized. In the present invention, the pressing wall portion 3
Similarly to the above, the pressure receiving wall portion 4 is formed by a steep slope 4'from the top, and subsequently, a gentle slope 4 "extending rearward is integrally connected to the hem of the pressure slope 4'in order to enable simultaneous molding. In this case, the gentle slope 4 ″ is configured such that the inclination angle θ with respect to the tube axis is in the range of 2 ° to 5 ° and the length 1 is approximately equal to or larger than the tube diameter. The inclination angle of the gentle slope 4 ″ is 2 ° to
The reason for limiting the angle to 5 ° is that if the inclination angle θ is less than 2 °, the fatigue stress due to the vibration of the pipe cannot be effectively dispersed, while if it exceeds 5 °, the gentle slope 4 ″ and the pipe diameter surface are Contact 5
This is because stress concentration is likely to occur at. Further, if the length l of the gentle slope 4 ″ is less than the diameter of the pipe, the stress dispersion effect cannot be seen.

The table shows the angle θ of the gentle slope 4 "having an outer diameter of 6 m / m and an inner diameter of 2 m / m obtained by completely annealing the material STS-35.
And the fatigue test results of the high-pressure fuel injection pipes molded by changing the length l, and showing the repeated frequency until fatigue fracture with constant stress. As can be seen from the results of this test, the inclination angle θ of the gentle slope is 2 ° to 5 ° and the length l
It is clear that those having a diameter of approximately equal to or larger than the pipe diameter are excellent in fatigue stress resistance.

As described in detail above, according to the present invention, the pressure receiving wall portion having a substantially equal angle to the pressing wall portion of the connection head is formed into a steep slope from the top, and further, the inclination angle is 2 ° to the hem. In the range of 5 °, since the length 1 is formed simultaneously with a gentle slope having a pipe diameter of not less than about the pipe diameter, the change of the section modulus near the lower part of the neck becomes gentle, so that it can be easily manufactured and used. It is possible to effectively disperse the concentration of fatigue stress applied to the vicinity of the bottom of the neck even in the case of vibrating inside, or in the unreasonable mounting state when the bending shape is defective,
Therefore, it is possible to significantly reduce or prevent cracks and breakages that occur near this part. Further, since it is unnecessary to use the sleeve washer in the conventional example, there are effects such as weight reduction of the product and simplification of manufacturing work.
