The drum type washer / dryer has a double structure including a water tank 2 suspended from an outer box 1 by a spring 4, and a drum 3 arranged inside the water tank 2 so as to rotate around a horizontal axis. . The water tank 2 is suspended by a spring 4 so as to absorb vibrations during operation, which has a function of storing and discharging washing liquid or dehydration liquid. The drum 3 has a large number of small holes 5 in its entire peripheral wall for passing water during washing, drainage during dehydration and hot air for drying during drying. Further, a baffle (protrusion) for stirring the laundry is provided on the inner surface of the peripheral wall of the drum 3.
A plurality of 6 are provided.

The washing process is performed by putting laundry into the drum 3 through the opening 8, dropping washing water in which detergent is dissolved into the laundry from above, and rotating the drum 3 at a low speed. The laundry in the drum 3 is lifted to the vicinity of the top of the drum 3 by the centrifugal force generated by the rotation of the drum 3 and the baffle 6 and then falls by its own weight (referred to as "tumbling"). This tumbling is repeated, and the laundry is washed by the impact force when it falls. Rinsing is performed in the same manner.

The dehydration work is performed by rotating the drum 3 at high speed and pressing the laundry against the inner surface of the peripheral wall of the drum 3 by utilizing the centrifugal force. Water is blown out from the small holes 5 of the drum 3, is guided to the lower part through the inner surface of the water tank 2, and is discharged to the outside of the machine through the switching valve 7.

The drying operation is performed by rotating the drum 3 at a low speed while blowing warm drying air from around the opening 8 of the drum 3. Since the laundry becomes bulkier as it dries, the amount that can be dried at one time is limited to about half of the amount washed.
This is because in order to eliminate unevenness in drying, it is necessary to rotate the drum 3 at a low speed and change the position of the laundry by tumbling.

(C) Problem to be Solved by the Invention When drying is performed by such a conventional drum type washer / dryer, hot air for drying enters from the side surface of the drum 3 and the small holes 5 on the peripheral surface.
Emitted from. At this time, since the hot air resistance varies between the portion where the laundry is present and the portion where the laundry is not present, the warm air easily flows in the direction without the cloth, and is often discharged without coming into contact with the laundry, resulting in a decrease in drying efficiency. This tendency is remarkable when the amount of laundry is small or when the bulk of the cloth is small immediately after dehydration. In addition, when the amount of laundry is large, uneven drying tends to occur. On the other hand, when the drum 3 is rotated at high speed during dehydration, the laundry is strongly pressed against the inner surface of the peripheral wall of the drum 3 by the centrifugal force. The pressed laundry bites into the small holes 5 and sticks thereto. This bite the stuck laundry is drum 3
Does not fall naturally. Therefore, there has been a problem that after the dehydration is completed, the operation must be stopped once, and the laundry must be loosened by hand before the dry operation is started.

(D) Means for Solving the Problems The present invention relates to a water tank fixed in a main body case, a drum having a large number of water / air holes in a peripheral wall rotatably supported in the water tank, and a drum. Installed in the circulation path, a heat exchanger provided in the circulation path to dehumidify the air discharged from the drum, and a heating blower provided in the circulation path to heat the dehumidified air and supply it to the drum. In a drying control method for a drum type washer / dryer provided, a high-speed operation of rotating the drum at a rotational speed at which the gravity and centrifugal force acting on the laundry near the inner peripheral surface of the drum balance each other, and the laundry tumbling inside the drum. The drying control method for the drum type washer / dryer is characterized by alternately performing the low speed operation of rotating the drum at a high speed. Further, the present invention compares the air temperature immediately before dehumidification by the heat exchanger with the air temperature immediately after dehumidification, and performs high speed operation when the difference becomes a predetermined value or more during low speed operation. It is a drying control method of a dryer.

(E) Action When the drying operation is performed by tumbling rotation (low speed operation),
After the laundry is lifted to the top of the drum, it falls by its own weight. At this time, if the amount of laundry is small, warm air easily flows through the small holes in the portion not covered by the laundry, resulting in reduced efficiency. Further, if the amount is large, the laundry will not be easily loosened and uneven drying will occur. Therefore, if the rotation speed of the unevenness is increased to a rotation speed at which the weight of the laundry and the centrifugal force are balanced near the inner peripheral surface of the drum (high-speed operation), the laundry is distributed almost evenly on the inner peripheral surface of the drum and is lightly contacted with the drum. Since it rotates in a manner synchronized with, the flow of warm air is dispersed and efficient drying is possible.
Further, since the inner cloth has a small centrifugal force, the cloth moves gently so that the laundry is uniformly distributed on the inner surface of the drum. By alternately repeating the high speed operation and the low speed operation in this way, the laundry is well changed and efficient drying can be performed without unevenness.

In addition, when the cloth is partially solidified when it is dried by tumbling rotation, the temperature difference between the inlet and outlet of the heat exchanger in the warm air circulation path becomes larger. Therefore, if this temperature difference is detected and when the temperature exceeds a certain level, the low speed operation is switched to the high speed operation, so that the ratio between the low speed operation period and the high speed operation period is appropriately determined.

Drying is performed by circulating warm air in the drum 23 with a blower fan 33 while rotating the drum 23 and the stirring plate 27 at a synchronous low speed. That is, the air introduced from the warm air outlet 30 into the drum 23 heats the laundry, evaporates the moisture, and is discharged from the warm air outlet 31 in a high temperature state. Then, it is cooled and dehumidified in the dehumidifying heat exchanger 34, heated again by the heater 35, and introduced into the drum 23 in a high temperature and low humidity state. This process is repeated to perform drying. In this drying process, the dry air enters from the warm air outlet 30 near the center of the side wall of the drum 23, is dispersed and discharged from the small holes 3a on the peripheral surface to the outside of the drum 23, and is collectively discharged from the outlet 31 on the side surface of the water tank 22. It At this time, when the amount of laundry is small, as shown in FIG. 2B, when the laundry rotates at the tumbling rotation speed (low speed), the drum 23
Since the air is partially biased inside, the air tends to concentrate in the small holes 3a that are easy to flow (that is, not blocked by the laundry) and the drying efficiency is reduced.

Therefore, when the rotational speed (rotational speed) of the drum 23 is increased to a critical speed (critical rotational speed) N at which the centrifugal force acting on the laundry and gravity are balanced (equilibrium) in the vicinity of the inner peripheral surface of the drum 23,
As shown in FIG. 2 (a), the laundry is evenly distributed on the inner surface of the drum 23 and the ventilation resistance is uniform, so that all the laundry is uniformly heated and dried. This critical velocity N (rp
m) is calculated by the following formula.

However, g: gravity acceleration (cm / sec 2 ), d: drum inner diameter (cm) Therefore, for example, when d = 60 cm, N = 54.6 rpm. In this case, since the laundry is almost stationary and cannot be replaced by the operation at only the critical speed, uniform and efficient operation can be performed by alternately performing the operation at the tumbling speed. The switching of the alternate operation may be performed for a certain period of time, but the population of the dehumidifying heat exchanger 34 and the temperature of the outlet are detected, and the temperature difference is a predetermined value or more, that is, the laundry in the drum 23. When the drying becomes uneven and sufficient dehumidification is not achieved, the rotation speed can be controlled to be increased. Further, if the operation at the critical speed is performed when a certain time has elapsed after the dehydration operation, the time required to raise the temperature of the water tank 22, the drum 23 and the laundry to the drying temperature can be shortened. This is because the laundry is attached to the entire inner peripheral surface of the drum 23, and thus the warm air for drying is used for heating the laundry without waste.

(G) Effect of the Invention According to the present invention, uniform and efficient drying can be performed irrespective of the amount of laundry and the unevenness of laundry inside the drum during operation. In addition, since the laundry hardly moves relative to the drum in rotation due to the number of rotations in which gravity and centrifugal force acting on the laundry near the inner peripheral surface of the drum are balanced with each other, damage to the laundry is reduced, The laundry is evenly distributed over the entire inner peripheral surface of the drum, and the warm air is applied to the entire laundry to uniformly heat the laundry, so that uneven drying can be prevented.
