Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lid of a container for yogurt or the like, which is a type of a lid engaging an engagement rib formed on an inner peripheral face with a flange at an upper edge of the container body, can hold its sufficient engagement strength with the container body, and can be easily opened.

SOLUTION: A lid 1 attached to a container for yogurt or the like comprises an engagement rib 7 engaged with a flange 12 formed at an opening edge of a container body 11 on an inner peripheral face of the lid 1. The engagement rib 7 is arranged in such a manner that two engagement rib 7 are not simultaneously located at positions at both ends of a lid 1 diameter substantially orthogonal to a pull-up direction during opening of the lid.
