Abstract

Claims (20)
- バルブ体に対して回転するように構成された回転部品を有する回転バルブ用密封組立体として、前記密封組立体は、
前記回転部品と密封式で噛み合うように構成されて、実質的に剛性である材料で形成された第1密封体と、
前記第1密封体及び前記バルブ体と密封式で噛み合うように構成されて、弾性的に変形可能な材料で形成された第2密封体と、を含むことを特徴とする密封組立体。 - 前記実質的に剛性である材料は熱可塑性材料であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の密封組立体。
- 前記熱可塑性材料はポリフタルアミドまたはポリフェニレンサルファイドの中の1つであることを特徴とする請求項2に記載の密封組立体。
- 前記弾性的に変形可能な材料はエラストマー材料であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の密封組立体。
- 前記エラストマー材料はサントプレーン(Santoprene、登録商標)熱可塑性エラストマー、エチレンプロピレンジエン単量体(EPDM)ゴム、Nylabond(登録商標)熱可塑性エラストマー、EPDMフォーム、シリコンゴム、ニトリルまたはウレタンの中の1つであることを特徴とする請求項4に記載の密封組立体。
- 前記実質的に剛性である材料は前記弾性的に変形可能な材料より低い摩擦係数を含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の密封組立体。
- 前記第2密封体は前記第1密封体を収容するように構成された湾入部を内部に含み、前記回転部品と密封式で噛み合うように構成された前記第1密封体の一部は前記湾入部の外部に配置されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の密封組立体。
- 前記第2密封体は前記バルブ体と密封式で噛み合うように構成された少なくとも2個の密封リップを含み、前記少なくとも2個の密封リップのそれぞれは前記第2密封体を貫通して形成された流動開口周辺周りに延びることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の密封組立体。
- 前記第1密封体は前記第2密封体に向かう方向に減少する厚さを含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の密封組立体。

前記エラストマー材料はサントプレーン(Santoprene、登録商標)熱可塑性エラストマー、エチレンプロピレンジエン単量体(EPDM)ゴム、Nylabond(登録商標)熱可塑性エラストマー、EPDMフォーム、シリコンゴム、ニトリルまたはウレタンの中の1つであることを特徴とする請求項15に記載の回転バルブ。 - 前記第1密封体は前記回転部品と同じ材料で形成されることを特徴とする請求項10に記載の回転バルブ。
- 前記第1密封体は前記バルブ体の開口内に前記回転部品を設置することを助けるように構成されたテーパー状のパイロット特徴部を含むことを特徴とする請求項10に記載の回転バルブ。
- 前記第1密封体は前記パイロット特徴部に対向して形成された維持特徴部を含み、
前記維持特徴部は前記バルブ体に形成された維持湾入部内に収容されるように構成されることを特徴とする請求項18に記載の回転バルブ。 - 前記第2密封体は前記第1密封体と前記バルブ体の間で圧縮されて、
前記第2密封体は前記回転部品に向かう方向に前記第1密封体にスプリング力を印加することを特徴とする請求項10に記載の回転バルブ。
